Thanks, I really appreciate it! Yeah, it was quite challenging to make it all brickbuilt and I used some fragile techniques, but it turned our nicely. Sadly, I didn't have time to add some features i had planed, but I am still happy with how it turned out.

That is so kind of you! Thank you very much and it makes me soo happy because I spent the whole night finishing it. I am sorry for the bad quality pictures but I was in such a hurry. The story behind this would be that this is the requirement Red Beard gave Steve in order to join his Crew: To get the famous Islanders Treassure. I tried to base the build on the mask of the CMF Islanders minifigure and I am pretty proud of it. I really want to thank you for taking my build in!

It should be. https://www.flickr.com/gp/201263353@N04/1M24512960 Try this one.

@Mister Phes https://www.flickr.com/photos/201263353@N04/sets/72177720319602846/ This is the link to my album, I really don't know how to put the pictures into a post, I am very sorry. I hope this build can still count.

@Mister Phes Yes, but I can't upload it because it says i can only upload 40mb. Please help, i would love to enter!

This is Steve's Challenge! This task was given to him by Captain Redbeard in order to join his crew: Steve needs to steal the Treassure from the famous Islanders mystical isle. I tried to base this build on the mask of the Minifigure Series 11 Island Warrior. There is a link in the comments which leeds to Flickr album with more pictures of the build.

Aye, this is a great idea and a nice MOC. I really like the inside details with all the minifigures. But I think the outside is a bit plain, with just those white walls. A bit texture would do great I think, maybe some masonry bricks. But still cool build!
-
Wow, that is really creative, tough i would consider it as a bit of an illegal building technic. But it doesn't matter as you nailed the design. Really not getting enough of it!
-
I understand that. Tough if I make a PAB order, they're usually a bit larger, to also get those more expensive GWPs. I sell those and through that, I get a good "discount".

[ENTRY][LARGE] Origin of Steve the Merchant
Christophh replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
This build looks amazing with all the vegetation going on! I really like the small details inside and around this old fortress! There could be so many stories told around this fortress, it really gets your creativity going. I would love to see maybe same Islanders protecting the treasure and fortress, i think they would do great! -
Yeah, I only purchase from PAB once or twice a year, only if there are good GWPs or double Insider/VIP points. And then I always have a long list of parts i need to add to my order just to keep up with my torn apart Lego display pieces.

[ENTRY][SMALL] Steve's Arrival in Port Royal

Hey! Nice small little build! I really enjoyed the comic you wrote. The MOC is nice, the style is similar to the 21322 Barracuda bay, which i very like. I would love to see this MOC a bit expanded, to get a better picture of the whole scenary! -
[ENTRY][SMALL] RAFT: The King’s Merchant + Comic book
Christophh replied to Marooned Marin's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yeah, the comic is really cool! I am amazed by this sail, really well done! Maybe you could replace the blue pins with black ones, if you have any left. It would look much cleaner i think! But overall nice little build! -
Great idea, something you don't see everywhere. The MOC looks really good with all the small details and everything. There are a lot of possible stories I could imagine to this and this could be easily expanded!
-
Yeah, I get it, and sometimes the pieces are just not available on PAB and then I do the same like you do. Life as an AFOL is not always easy...

Wow! I am a big fan of micro builds and thid one captures the original just great. To hear that your 13 year old daighter built this blew my mind. Fantastic job and congrats to your daughter for building this great little MOC. Everything is captured just perfectly! also, @Mister Phes this is my 25th post, what does that mean, because i didn't really get the explaination. -
[ENTRY][SMALL] RAFT: The King’s Merchant + Comic book

Hey! This raft looks excellent and I could think of thousands of stories you could build to this raft. I am curious if the cloth sail is one from Lego or a selfmade? Please let me know! Great MOC! -
Hey! Great work on this awesome MOC, i especially like the Imerpial Fort build. The Trees look good to, but I don't really like the yellow for the sand. I think tan works much better! But still nice MOC
-
What I do in those situations, i write down the parts i took out of the Lego Sets and add them to my next Pick a brick order, so that my Sets on shelves stay together. I can really recommend that, i always stay organzied that way.
-
Great little MOC! It gives of a nice scenary and you automatically get what it's about. It looks clean and nice. But I am not a fan of the big 4+ figure and i think the water could use some texture, but great all in all!
-
Hey! This MOC is fantastic, I absolutely adore it! With such few pieces you created the 6278 like no other. Please explain the bridge building technic, I just don't get it. Great job mate, really, I love Islanders and this is a Set I definitely would buy!
-
Aye! This is an awesome creation and a great updated version of the Islanders cave, i don't remember the exact name of that set! You did a fantastic job with all the little details and features. Minifgures are supercool and all in all a great MOC!
-
I love this MOC really! I love the old style of the Boxes in your pictures and the building style is just fantastic and reminds of the 21322 Barracuda bay, a fantastic set! I think this MOC wozld work great with that. I line the tent type roof you build out of the technic elements, it gives of a great look!
