  1. Murder, schmurder, it's a massacre!
  2. Most Quests aren't like Quest #19. Quest #19 has a lot of high-level Heroes, so that is probably why there are such difficult battles.
  3. Really? The piece on Stringer bears a striking resemblance to the piece mentioned. I wonder why TLG made a completely new piece instead of simply reusing this one when they are so similar? Voltix, I must have missed that when I was looking over the pictures. I don't pay much attention to the Ultrabuild SuperHeroes, so that one wasn't too hard to miss.
  4. I have to agree with you here, the dragon looks amazing now, except for the rather cramped-looking four heads. One head would have been good enough for me. Ah, well, it's a simple MOD. The wings are also a bit too large, but again, a simple MOD. The only real problem I have with the set which won't be simple to MOD is the Great Devourer's lower jaw. It really should be in green instead of grey.
  5. Yeah, the Quest #19 heroes are really getting beaten up out there.
  6. That piece is new, yes, and it is used throughout the Breakout Wave 2 on Core Hunter, Stringer, Nex, and Stormer, as seen in the prelims and the images from the Toy Fairs.
  7. I also made him lose his memory, so as to make sure that he doesn't remember his previous vision of the Hall during Quest #13.
  8. Not exactly. I agree with the 'no builder's style is the same' point, but there is no reason to say that someone is copying or is heavily influenced by your MOC if they used some of your techniques (Which they very well might have come up with on their own, I might add) and the rest of the MOC bears absolutely no or very slight similarity to yours. The head of this is very, very different than yours (Larger, and made from 1 X 2 With One Knob pieces instead of made with a Lowell Sphere and some plates, cheese slopes and tiles), as are the feet and legs (The legs are longer, and slightly more detailed on Iceman's MOC). Also, just since Iceman used SNOT on the legs and you did as well, does that make Iceman's MOC a copy? Because that's basically what you are saying.
  9. Welcome to EB! I hope you enjoy your time here!
  10. Hey RPGer, welcome to the competitive friendly fun forums of EB!
  11. Okay, thanks again!
  12. Wow, 39 posts in one day? Kudos to you, I only made 10 in my first day.

  13. Sorry, but I don't see barely any reseblance between the two, besides perhaps the need of a stand, and that is pretty much impossible to avoid in order to make an accurate Tri-Droid, due to the small feet and large 'head'. The only reason I can see that you think that there is so much similarity is due to the fact that Tri-Droids all look the same. There is almost no similarity between yours and Iceman's besides the fact that the both are Tri-Droids and perhaps both used the same references. I'm sorry, but I don't see how Iceman was 'heavily influenced' by your version. Another striking difference between the two is that yours is obviously based on the RotS version (Grey 'head' with no blue) while his is influenced by the TCW version (Blue on the 'head').
  14. The regular Dak hair would work just fine, I just wanted to make it longer so it looks like he's older. The regular Dak hair is this one in black. Thanks, Scubacarrot!
  15. Okay, cool by me. The boy was floating in midair amidst a landscape of white. He felt that there must be something he had to do, something he had lost and had to find. A deep sense of loss pervaded his mind as he floated in the middle of the blank landscape. What was missing that had been there before? He knew it had to be something, he just couldn't remember what. Who was he? Where was he? And what was that humming? He looked down, and noticed color coming back to his arms. His skin was changing, but what color had it been before? Suddenly, he dropped to a floor, in the middle of a large Hall, with many people milling about. Here, a knight with a scar on his face and short hair, talking to a half-elf Ranger and a cleric in white with long hair. There, an old hermit leaning against a cart filled with bits and bobs of everything imaginable. And there, leaning against the wall, was the most beautiful girl the boy had ever seen. She had a huge sword strapped to her back, and black robes. Who was she? And what was she doing standing all alone? Suddenly, the boy's eyes snapped open, and he was out of his waking dream. He looked around, and saw a large man standing over him, an empty bottle in his hands, grinning. Over there, he saw other men, an Orc, and a Shade battleing a frightening huge monster of a man. The boy found himself holding a knife, with an arrow lying next to him, covered in blood. He stood, and pain shot through his chest. He battled through it, and charged, stabbing the Brigand through the chest with his knife. He did not remember who he was, but he knew that the man they were fighting must be evil, and had to be destroyed. OOC: I want a new figure for Dak, but I don't have the parts. Can someone make it for me, pretty please? It has Zane from Ninjago's face, the 2010 Professor Snape's hair, the 2011 Darth Maul's robed torso, black legs, and a silver knife. Thank you, whoever might make this and take a picture of it for me!
  16. Yes, that is what I meant as well. Here, an example: Player A has 9/10 HP Player B has 7/10 HP Player C has 0/10 HP and is Knocked Out Player D (Shaman) rolls a Shield Should the Health from the Shield roll go to Player B or Player C?
  17. Yes, but what if the party member with the lowest health is KO'd?
  18. Yes, he does. They're a really, really light color, so it is difficult to see them, but they are definitely there.
  19. Well, I do want XP, but as you all said, there's only one Phoenix Essence, so if we use it now, we might not be able to revive a hard hitter like Tarn or Guts later. If you do revive Dak, you have another party memeber, so then you have a better chance of winning the battle in one more round. The definite downside of this is that Dak could get KO'd again if he gets a Special Damage, so it's up to Rumble Strike in the end, I think, since he has the Phoenix Essence.
  20. What program are you using? On Microsoft Paint, there is an A in the box with your tools you click that and click where you want your words to be in the panel. Then you type, and once you're finished, click to another tool.
  21. Flipz, you have almost convinced me to become a Raider. If Dak didn't have a complicated past and story reasons to become a Black Knight, I would, but since he does, I won't, or not until his story as a Black Knight is done. And TheBoyWonder, don't even think of going after Alisha again. Dak has dibs!
  22. Does second wave mean anything to you? TLG probably plans on having this theme for a while (License agreements usually last 5-10 years), so I think that putting a lot of army builders in the the first wave for one faction is a good idea. You can still get 'good guys' , but you can army- build the 'bad guys' to fight them. Army builder sets are huge successes in other themes, so I see no reason why they won't be in LotR. I, for one, will buy around 5 each of the Orc Forge and Uruk-Hai Army sets, so as to get a large army of 40 baddies, not to mention 5 Eomers. If there is an army-builder set for the Rohirrim, I would think it would not be a relatively uninteresting scene like a campsite, but more like a battle, similar to the Uruk-Hai Army set. It would probably include one or two Orcs or Uruks as well, so as to make it more playable and not just an army-builder.
  23. Ah. I've never seen it myself, but I have the album, and it is one of my favorites. If the movie is based anything on the songs, it might just be something I'll watch soon.
  24. Hey, an underwater Quest is actually a really good idea..... *scribble scribble*
  25. I haven't really had one, unless you count only buying EXO-FORCE for 3 years as a Dark Age. Once it ended, I was pretty much devastated and didn't buy LEGO for around 8 months, during which I worked on a lot of school (For my graduation from high school) and played a lot of video games. I got into LEGO Star Wars in 2009, and since then, I've been buying SW and Ninjago, with HP on the side.
