Yep. That's why a lot of people who aren't Knights will choose the ACs that are made with Knights, because of the shield. It's also why there are more Knights than any other class. Potentially, if you have enough Gold and don't buy anything else, you could get your shield to SP:10 or above and potentially never worry about Damage, unless there is an enemy that disregards SP. The Black Knight has the added bonus of Darkness-elemental Hits on the Shield roll however, as well as the Hide instead of Miss, which is a good thing for if you're at low Health. The sacrificed Health power is good if you have a lot of potions on hand or really high Health, but other than that it is useless. The Special Dodge instead of Special Damage is useful, but nothing different than what the Cleric already has. The Berserker's War Cry, as has been mentioned before, is very useful in some situations, but not with large groups of enemies. There is also the matter of not being able to change targets, which wouldn't affect things much when the character can defeat an enemy with a single hit, but could be a serious hindrance when enemies are more powerful. The Defended Counter attack is also useful, but it takes Health away from the Berserker and the enemy, so there is not much benefit for the character. The Mystic Knight's Spellspin power is useful as well, if the character has Gems, but with no Gems, it is useless. The Enchantment ability also is useful, but can be a hindrance, since it depletes lots of Ether. The Paladin's abilities are also useful, but not really anythig=ng we haven't seen before. +11 Health is very nice, though. As before, the Special Guard ability is useful, but is already there with Clerics. The Aura effect of the Warden is useful to other members of the party, but can defeat a Warden if they are not prepared. The Aim ability is also useful, but using WP only, it only has the potential to defeat an enemy if the character has had their WP upgraded to a very high number. Overall, out of them, I think that if a Knight wanted to do a lot of Damage, Berserker is the way to go, but if they wanted to protect allies instead, you should go with the Paladin.

Noooooo. Just when I was starting to get into it.

Starkiller says happy birthday, and may the Dark Side be with you!

We don't really need to think it out, we can just change it if we don't like it, once we get back to the Hall that is.

It would appear Flipz cast Wall Of Text again, and it was once again very effective. EDIT: 300 pages!

The Pink Floyd one? -
The Black Knight just suits Dak well, unlike any of the other classes, like some other Rogue advances that I won't mention that also leave you stunned after the Special. Plus, Black Knights come with the added bonus of a shield, which detracts damage and (hopefully) prevents KO's. Also, it is the Rogue advanced class with the highest added health, which Dak really needs right now. So, basically, yes, I do want to become a Black Knight, and not just for character reasons. I also already have a story made out for Dak which will 1. Explain everything about his backstory, as well as the two gods he worships. 2. Make sure he ends up with Alisha. 3. Turn him, once and for all, into a monster with no emotion.

The Future of Ninjago
Darth Nihilus replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Dino. Because Dinos vs. Ninjas vs. Hunters would be epic. -
Really nice ones, CTS! Still having trouble with that MegaBloking Stormie rifle.
-
Well, Filoni has said that TCW will go into Order 66, so perhaps many of the S7 episodes will be around that time?
-
At least you aren't the only person planning on becoming a Black Knight..... Then again, no one has as much 'inner turmoil' than Dak. Speaking of Dak, I actually have the Black Knight figure decked out with all the weapons Dak has so far, and I can see that I need to sell some (The Whip, and maybe the Twin Longswords).

I thought exactly that while viewing the trailer! This looks to be one of the best movies in a while. Black Widow is .

Really nice ones, everyone. More of mine will be up soon, but unfortunately I'm having trouble making the guns fit into the style of drawing I'm using without major modifications to the templates. The Z-6 by Sparky is really helping with that. Now I just need to find a way to make a DC-15a, DC-15s, DC-16, and DC-17s, not to mention the E-11 and whatever the Stormie rifle is called.

Since everyone seems to be trying to give Evo a meme, here's my contribution:

Wow, I've been watching a lot of movies, but I haven't posted them. Here's some: 1. Winnie the Pooh. A kid's movie, but funny nonetheless. I watched it with my nieces and nephews when I was watching them after school Friday. I actually found myself laughing at some point during the film. 2. Journey to the Center of the Earth. So cheesy it could have passed as a Cheeto. Seriously, it was really, really bad. I'm talking about the 2008 one, BTW, not the really old one. It wasn't even based on the book at all! 3. LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. Another movie watched with my nieces and nephews. As with Winnie the Pooh, very funny in some parts. I especially thought the Skelly and Bones segments were amusing. -
They look reddish-tan to me...

The Fellowship of the Ring
Darth Nihilus replied to Nuju Metru's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These look amazing. Especially Aragorn, Gandalf, and Sam. The only things I would change about these are Boromir (I can't think any other way of doing him, but the face doesn't fit IMO) and Merry (The face just doesn't look like him to me). The rest look perfect, however. Great job. -
Why not? It's not like they're prelims and Haltiamieli is deeplinking them. As far as I know, linking to pictures from the Toy Fairs is allowed.

On the sides of the "saddle", next to the ninja.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Darth Nihilus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
That movie was made for LEGO. Can't wait to see the sets now! -
I am, and have been since the prelims, very, very impressed by the Ultra Sonic Raider. The sheer amount of creativity put into it, not to mention the near-studlessness, is exactly what I think of when I think of Ninjago. The colorscheme may be a bit bland, yes, having no bright colors to offset the white, but that makes it able to fit with any Ninjas you could want to put in the driver seat. That was the only set I knew I had to pick up from the moment I saw it, and it remains so. On another note, I'm significantly less impressed by the Ultimate Destroyer than I thought I would be. The use of the BURP as a bottom jaw is creative, even though it makes the head disproportianate to the body.
-
Damn it. I was looking at the armor on his arm that he's holding up and thought it was a launcher. I don't know why, though he would look better with two in my opinion. Maybe I'll MOD it if I buy the set.
-
Nice digital models, but there is one detail everyone seems to have missed on Bulk.... He's got two sphere launchers.
