  1. "Let's go back to the previous intersectionand turn right this time."
  2. Dak considers kicking Guts in the rear, maybe that will teach him. Then the burst of anger fades, and he reconsiders. Maybe there is something to be learned from Guts. Guts always kept his cool, no matter the situation, while Dak himself always rushed in head first to any situation. Maybe it would be a little better to not get angry so often, he thought. He might not know much about the way Eubric's streets worked, but by the gods, he would learn, even if he had to live on them for weeks on end. Finished with his train of thought, and more determined than ever to learn how to be a better Rogue, Dak attempts to fade into the shadows like Guts and De'kra do, but only ends up tripping over a nearly invisible rock and smacking his head against the wall. He begins thinking about how to get better peripheral vision while he gets up, rubbing his scalp.
  3. Extremely nice, Mr. Man. I'm actually not making any clones anymore. I'm working on main characters for other series (READ: LoZ) of TV and video games.
  4. Me, I like to have as many Batsies as possible, so I can have a Batman Multi-Dimensional Massacre MOC!
  5. How so? I don't see anything "boring" about Tarn. He's just a simple person, that's all. Seems like I should have made Dak someone like Tarn or Hoke, this might be getting a little out of control. I think that Dak will just remain silent the rest of the Quest, except for random bouts of scientific gibberish of course.
  6. "Conflicting memories....... Conflicting memories......." Dak suddenly starts, as if he was electrocuted. "Conflicting memories! By the gods........." OOC: I've been planning this part of Dak's final fall to Black Knight for a while now, thanks to Tanma for (Unknowingly) aiding in my master plan ( muahahahah ), as a bounce-off point for Dak's own memories. I would have done it anyway, but in a different way than this, and not until the Questers are back at the Hall, if De'kra hadn't spoken up like that. EDIT: OOC (cotd): Note that this is the only mention of this part of Dak's past until the return to the Hall and/or his meeting with Alisha. I don't want to intrude on Tanma's roleplay any more than I already have.
  7. Sure. I'll be getting shots of a lot of stuff today, I'll post it a little later.
  8. Guys, not to mini-mod, but all discussion and wishlists for future LotR sets go here. This thread is already pretty cluttered, what with accuracy discussions and all, and I don't think that it needs wishlists in the mix as well.
  9. I'm not criticizing; I watch the show, and I think that they are a little too squared off there too. I just prefer a more human-like shape when I draw clones. If that's the way you like to draw, stick with it.
  10. "I'm for going down the left path, the right one would probably just lead to the path we would have taken if we had gone straight at the last intersection."
  11. It looks great now. Strange, however, that the chalice will not accept the bottom of the rocket in real bricks; I have used it in previous MOCs, and it worked just fine there.
  12. Much better. I would suggest removing the Trans-Orange cones and inverting the rest, however (What I mean by "inverting": Flipping the golden chalices upside-down and attaching the bottom of the rocket to the side of the chalice that is now facing downward)
  13. Part of the spinner game, you put it on the bottom of the spinner between the 2 x 2 curved inverted tile and the spinnner to make your spinner higher than the opponent's to give you an advantage.
  14. "By my calculations, to get here we've already turned left 3 times, a few more and I believe we will return to the entrance. I believe, however, that this is a viable course of action, as choosing a path at random would do us no good." Dak looks confused as all this comes out of his mouth, as if he doesn't understand why his lips are forming these words.
  15. Whoa! Sorry to hear that, man. My ankle got pretty messed up playing football in high school a few years back. It sucks having to wear crutches. Can't do anything fun for a while.
  16. IE 9 has worked a lot better for me than any other IE browser, might have to look into something else. I do have Firefox, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on my Windows 7 Professional (It stops responding after a few minutes browsing). I've tried reinstalling it, too.
  17. Damn, should have figured that out. Told you I wasn't good at math.
  18. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! BTW, what equation were you using for the Mathematician's Poison? I'm not very good at math.
  19. I'm not part of this game, but I just wanted to say that since I updated my computer to Internet Explorer 9, I haven't been able to Multi-Quote. When I hit the Multi-Quote button on a post, it acts as though I clicked "Reply" instead. It isn't an issue most of the time, but it might become one if I get into a Mafia, where multi-quoting is almost a necessity.
  20. In the absence of anyone else to say this, All jokes aside, I love this! It's much better than the official set, IMO, and the HF parts give it a sleek look. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the boot jets, they look a little too clunky to me for the general aesthetic of this.
  21. It was a failure to be epic. On topic: I actually saw The Last Legion a few years ago, and was really suprised by the final scene. Recently, I've seen the POTC saga, and I think this describes my feelings pretty well: /
  22. It looks just like the train Starkiller rides in TFU2 to me.
  23. I haven't visited here for 4 days. :cry_sad: Now I need to go catch up. Ah well, I enjoy looking at everyone's work. Finished the FemTrooper template, here's a taste of what's come of it so far: Ain't she pretty? C&C welcome.
