The search begins? Hopefully he finds them; he said that if he does he's getting Tahu and Bitil at least ^.^ Keep your eyes peeled; most of the other summer sets are out and this is around the time last year that shaky reports came in, so...=D ~Trexxen

How many former, current and future university students are here?
Trexxen replied to legotrainfan's topic in Community
Though I'm not in a university quite yet (I'm 15, after all - 3 more years of High School to finish, lol!), I plan to go to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. As for what I plan to study there - I'm not entirely certain, but I'm planning to either enter into the law or chemistry fields, probably depending on which seems better to me when it is time to go there. Depending on how the next three years of HS go, I may also decide to go for work in the field of medicine instead; since I am taking health sciences (not really a choice...). ~Trexxen (Class of 2011 on! ...in High School.) -
Mystery Castle - Introduction
Trexxen replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I pledge allegiance to the great and mighty dragons! (Y'know, because I already have a love for them myself...=P) Also, this game reminds me slightly more of the mafia I used to play, so I'm still comfortably at home here >=D ~Trexxen -
*looks at volcano base* *looks at set list for this year* *scratches out a few and adds volcano base to the top of the list, and again at the bottom* Oh my...that is quite possibly one of the best evil bases we've gotten...well, ever! The lava is done amazingly well, and all of those trans-orange parts will be useful, especially since I'm a fan of Mars Mission, too. The minifigs don't disappoint either - it seems we get every agent in this set, Dr. Inferno, a new henchman (also with a metal arm!), and a new agent with Irina Spalko's hair (Am I right on this? You can see it decently well in the first pic.). And some of the work they did with, say, the wedge plates for the barricaded door was brilliant! A definite must have for me...^.^ (Also, is there a new piece on the helicopter rotors? It looks like it...<3) ~Trexxen

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Trexxen replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm so in! Man, I'll never pass on a good mafia game >=D (And I too have plans to make one sometime in the near future ...I'll wait til there's a lack of mafia-ing, though; don't want to over-saturate the forums just yet. And for the record; this time it won't be in history...but that's all I'm saying. ^.^) ~Trexxen -
Review: 7884 Batman - The Buggy: The Escape of Mr Freeze
Trexxen replied to ???theriddler???'s topic in LEGO Licensed
In actuality, I think that this may be my favorite Batman set of all time. I know, I know - it's a small set with crappy tiny vehicles; so it probably sucks for the fan who likes to display sets; but look at the MOCing side and you see this set has a ton of potential: -New Batman fig. Well, mainly the torso; but it looks nice, sleek, and armored! A definite plus whether you're a MOCist or batfan. -Mr. Freeze. Because nobody bought the Batcave when they should have...and by nobody I mean me. Plus, I love that head! -Cheapest way to amass the lightning piece. The other sets that have it are lolhueg (Well, not really, but I don't have $50 to toss around on a little skeleton tower...), and it's a great piece. -Two little blue gems. I may be alone on this, but those are my favorite parts (the gems), and that's my favorite color for them! <3 <3 <3 -Several other useful parts, including a +O piece in black, some light/medium blue bits from Mr. Freeze's kart, the oddly placed grappling hook, and some cheap wheels. Now, I don't know about you guys, but this is as close to a Batman Battlepack as we're going to get, lol - I'm buying at least three, maybe more once I get my summer job ^.^ (Oh, and the fact that the US price is only $10 helps a little, but this year you guys can't complain - you got practically every set first, ESPECIALLY the new castle! T.T) ~Trexxen -
Aha! I've figured it out; and it's installing now. Thanks Gahu - I had already uninstalled LDD, but you reminded me to make sure that that wasn't the problem ^.^ For the record, and for anyone else having this problem - run WinZip, then open the .exe. It will extract it in a normal way, and you can run it from there. ~Trexxen
-
Alright, I've been wanting to use the new LDD for a long time - the new Space Skulls/Star Justice parts really sealed the deal for me. However, the version I have won't install for me. Instead, the WinZip self-extractor appears...and loops. Every time one finishes, it pops up a second one...then a third...and so on and so on (I got fed up around number 35). Aborting the last one, strangely, closes all of the earlier ones. Can anyone help me, or give me a version that doesn't self-extract? ~Trexxen

I can't write a full post about this at the moment, but rest assured that I will get one in after school. However, I couldn't let this part wait until then - Wow. This is AMAZING. ~Trexxen

Vote: Hinckley. Just as I had planned to yesterday, before the game was over - Tinypius's story was solid, too bad we couldn't see that.

Happy birthday! And by the way, if you DO get drunk and do stupid stuff...post it on Youtube? ^.^ =P, may your birthday bring you tidings of good will and maybe some new Lego sets ^.~ ~Trexxen [EDIT: Oh wait, you're turning 16 today =P (Just a year older to the day than I am ^.^). Don't get drunk, then...but...uh...for the safety of those of us who might be on the road, want to hold off on the driver's liscense? XD]

*checks clock* Whew, 10 minutes before the day's over - I made it! =P Happy birthday Exo-Builder! May your 14th be full of legoes and other stuff...oh, and cake. Lots of cake. ~Trexxen

Anyone who likes Bionicle should check this out: Rare Bionicle Comic Art Auction (Yes, it's my auction; no, that's not my account, it's my mom's.) ...please bid? =P ~Trexxen

Hmm. Type of cannon, eh? Well, do you have any of the Phantoka Makuta? If so, take one of those black half-pod parts (the ones that come in trans-blue in the Barraki Deep Sea Patrol set), and use that inverted (so that the tip is facing into the barrel) as the tip of it, then attach a Tridax Pod to the inside of the pod. Creates a nice little "charging laser" effect, and if need be, you can use the other end of the pod's connection point to put some trans-orange cylinders and a cone and make it look like it's firing, like in the UCS Death Star. (I was going to use that as the basis for a black fantasy creature, but I scrapped the plan due to lack of tentacles =P) And also, yay, a fellow Nightwish fan! I recognized the name instantly because I had just heard the song a few days ago, lol. ~Trexxen

Pencoin, why are you so quick to turn on those who have helped you survive? You're so wrapped up in your own survival that you care not whether we find an enemy of Rome, so long as you survive in the end. By condemning you, we learn of your identity; and if the consul deems you innocent you will have served a much greater role to the Roman People than by hiding in a veil of trechary and cowardice. For one so quick to speak, you are also the quickest to dig your hole deeper and deeper. Vote Pencoin. I'm sorry, but you've brought this upon yourself. Anyone who would do anything, even betraying those whom they owe their very life to, just to survive another night deserves your fate. *notices everyone staring at him* How much for a filet of one of your fine fish, Barnabus?

Haha, I'm loving the fact that you know the ENTIRE history of Shooping ^.~ Anywho, brilliant ship you've got here - the bridge design is awesome (and since you used that trans-red part at the top, it can open!), the wings are HUGE (and incorporate Bionicle well, kudos for that), and the engine is the most awesome piece of Bionicle/System fusion I've seen in a LONG time. Meanwhile, on the subject of that mask, I know what you mean - I've got one of those somewhere; it's a real pain in the rear to build with...not the sturdiest piece ever. But, if you haven't already got the entire area planned out, may I submit an idea? Perhaps you could hide a laser cannon inside the "mouth" of the giant mask? (Then your ship could FIRE ITS LAZER too ^.~) ~Trexxen [EDIT: I almost forgot! Awesome name; are you a Nightwish fan? ^.^]

List-A-Brick would be too "specialized"; you'd end up with a lot of people who can't enter because they don't have a couple of the parts, and a high chance of unoriginality in entries. Same with the set ala magnifico, only without the unoriginality - not many people are going to go out and drop cash on a set just for a contest. =P The other two are great, though - I'd enter them =P Just curious, what are the criteria for a contest to be started? ~Trexxen

I must say, the information I have on "Hinckley" and "Pencoin", as I have heard them called as well, is staggering. At this point, however, the public opinion is with Pencoin...and I doubt there's any changing of that. And so, vote Pencoin. Should you be innocent, may Zeus watch over you and the consul have mercy on you...should you be scum, may you burn in the pits of Hades for eternity.

What game are we playing at the moment?
Trexxen replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Hmm...I wish MKWii was out in USA right now T.T (Not that I could buy it anyways; saving for a 360 and may even give up a small portion of my Bionicle collection...>.>) Anywho, games I'm playing these days? Just finished a re-run of Metroid Prime; truly a classic. Still playing Brawl...isn't everyone else? =P Guitar Hero 3 as well. <3 that game... And finally, Stepmania. So much fun, so little point. =P ~Trexxen -
Ah, Wine, how I miss thee...but I gave it up three years ago, after I managed to commandeer my horses into the path of another set. What a fine mess that was... As for my job; I am but a lowly blacksmith. I make mostly armor; helms are my specialty; however I have been known to make daggers or swords sometimes...or I used to, until today. It would pain me so to learn that a murder was committed with one of my weapons; after all, the greatest trust must be between the supplyer and the demander - if either has ill will torwards the other a purchase will never be made.

Trexxen looked dead into the eyes of the one who had mentioned that "treading lightly" would be a surefire shot as an enemy of the empire. "My brother made the same mistake you did, you know. He's not around anymore. Let us tread lightly with our words as well, though; there are slaves nearby and if we worry them too much we could have an uprising. We don't need more problems...anyways. I must ask - what are your names? If it matters to you, I am known as Sirius."
-
If it matters, I'd be very interested in a Nintendo contest. Then again, of course I would - my entire reason for saving up for the UCS ISD is to make a UCS Meta Ridley...>.> ~Trexxen
-
Hey, I've been looking for a while - where is the contest ideas thread, anyways? (Also, I'm currently trying to decide if my entry should be Metroid, Brawl, or F-Zero themed...hmm.) ~Trexxen P.S. - Knights of Cydonia is an amazing song.

You, my good sir, are WIN. *sets as desktop BG* ~Trexxen

^I'll send you my address if you're that desperate...^.~ As for me? I MOC with them. Simply the most fun you can have with Lego, in my eyes - and Bionicle is especially well suited. Though I DO have a Tahu Mata, Gahlok, and Kopaka Nuva on display...^.^ ~Trexxen
