LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
GreenhouseBricker replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes I do agree that the Hunger Games it doesn't necessarily work with LEGO's Brand image. It is just a popular license/movie franchise that hasn't been done before and is releasing this year. I know there are a number of Hunger Games IDEAS submissions that are quite popular with fans and have reached 10,000 supporters. You never know, LEGO has done things like Stranger Things and Twilight due to a popular license. My bet is still on Shrek. If they do a CMF Shrek Series, I assume it would be similar to how the Simpsons license has been used. They could use some of the minifig elements in future sets. That way the CMF new element budget could help with getting some of the reqired pieces. -

Maybe a Hunger Games Series? If it was a 2027 film then I might guess Shrek. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

That makes sense. Yes It doesn't look great when the Black Tron Renegade and the MTS both got pulled off shelves early. (Speculation) I have a feeling most of the sales for those retro inspired sets were soon after release. Then sales died of quickly after the fans got their copy. Maybe LEGO anticipated they would preform better with the casual LEGO audience than they did. -

I hope I am too but it could also be a 2027 thing. LEGO may want to give a little more time between the Lion Knights Castle / MTS retiring and releasing a new large set so that Castle fans are ready to buy again. Even though is has been a long time since the LKC was first released. -

I believe the Lion Knight Castle was released in August when it first debuted. I think its possible that if we were to get a new "replacement" castle set then it could be released then. (that way its ready for Christmas orders) If that is the case then maybe we would see the Black Knights ship GWP be paired with it. However, LEGO does also like to split up special nostalgia sets and GWPs so that AFOLs who want them both at release, spend more money. So its possible that if we do get some sort of castle set in August, the GWP isn't available until the Fall double points weekend/Black Friday. Or vice versa. -

There is a new LEGOLAND exclusive castle that was just posted in the usual places. It comes with the horse knight shield. -
My local Walmart had them out on December 23rd. The toy shelves were pretty bare so I'm assuming a staff member put it out without reading the release date on the box. I'm not super interested in any figures from this series so I left them for other people to find. I went back on boxing day and they were all gone. However, I did see a couple cases of them on the top shelf (overstock) in the shipping boxes. So if someone really wanted it, I'm sure they could ask or open it up.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

Yes the sail will be brick built. It looks like the concept graphic uses a large tile. I'm wondering if the logo on the tile will be a sticker or printed. My guess is that it will be a sticker. If we only get 1 new print then it will likely be the shield. https://beta.ideas.lego.com/challenges/5ef2c3ef-c229-4417-9728-6ab8df89024a/entries/e2a67ebe-6b24-4d86-8765-29c185bb2a91 -

I saw someone post that the denominator for the Outlaw Forest Den was 50,000 sets, white the other sets are still at 30,000. If that is the case then Approx. 39,586 sets have been sold. -

I took a look at the developer tools on the BDP website to try to see how many Outlaw Forest Den sets were sold. I wasn't able to find the denominator of the total available for pre-order but this is the data I was able to find for set #910057. It is 79.17% sold out. "idSubmission": 2123, "sku": 910057, ... "stock": { "idSubmission": 2123, "dPercentagePreordered": 0.79172, "dPercentageFunded": 0.06, "bFunded": true, "bSoldOut": false }, "bAllSoldOut": false -

Yes, I had a similar issue. I believe LEGO's website was having an issue in the first hour of the BDP launch. It added an item to my cart but then would not let me check out. Same problem with adding multiple sets when refreshing. I just waited an hour and then it was fixed and I was able to order as normal. -

Has anyone heard if we will get the Black Knight Sea Serpent GWP this year or in 2026? https://beta.ideas.lego.com/challenges/5ef2c3ef-c229-4417-9728-6ab8df89024a/entries/e2a67ebe-6b24-4d86-8765-29c185bb2a91 -

I think the reddish brown looks more like leather. In my opinion, it works well for a viking/sea fairing castle faction. When I was a kid I got the LEGO 7097 Castle: Tolls Mountain fortress. Apparently, some versions of the set had the troll King with a copper crown and some came with a reddish brown crown. (I only found out there were two versions recently) My version had the reddish brown one and I always though copper would have been nicer as some the troll solders had metallic or copper helmets. It didn't seem very royal. However, I think it works here for the Kraken Knights. -

The 2025 Blacktron Renegade 10355 Retirement date has been moved up. It looks like the original assumed date was July 31 2026. It will now retire on December 31, 2025. This LEGO Exclusive set will only be on store shelves for 1 year. I wonder what caused them the retire it early? It could be poor sales or just LEGO is moving past their different space sub themed sets from 2024/35. -

Unfortunately, I really doubt we will get two Royals in the set. Based on the previous creator set and some previous castle sets its this is what I believe we will get. 2x Knights (1 from each faction) 2x supports/squires (1 from each faction) 1x unknown joust observer (could be a King/royal, or it could be a lord like the tax collector from the MTS) -

I think the Joust/Tournament could in part expand the Medieval Town Square with lots of villagers and little shops. I definitely would like to see another castle. However, I don't see LEGO releasing another large castle for another faction until the Lion Knights Castle retires. -

It almost 2025! What do you think is the most likely Castle set for this coming year? (assuming that we get a new set) Last year the Medieval Town Square was revealed to the LEGO fan media and they were able to start posing about it in early 2024. I am hoping we start to hear more information soon. My guess is that it will be some sort of medieval joust/tournament that will compliment the two other set we have. I'm hoping this set gives us new barding and the King of the Lion Knights.
