  1. I'm back from my trip now, so I'll do some quick catching up and then we'll be rolling.
  2. Oh, OK then. I was certain I was on the list before all those people and they were simply ahead because of the dates they said, but that's fine, I don't mind waiting. I am already halfway through building the sets though, and planned to have them finished in the next few weeks, so I don't really want to be delayed for 5 months or so.
  3. I too vote we head for the "danger" tracks. I good value I have learn't through my experience of life and D&D is not to avoid danger, because it will get you in the end, but rather to tackle it head on , and thus overcome it. Therefore I think we should go overcome this "danger" before moving on. As we still don't really have a plan for anything else, perhaps something we find there will help us. I for one am keen to get my hands on that Johnson Rod, it seems to be of vital importance to our future survival. As for the all the bickering going on about who is to blame, I personally do not wish to blame anyone just yet. I say we remain vigilant, and wait until the killer makes a mistake; they all do in the end. In the meantime, I can tell you all about this epic D&D adventure I played a few weeks ago with some guys via video conferencing. It was amazing! I met them on this web forum and... *Mark chatters on to anyone who looks like they might be listening*
  4. An excellent game in my opinion, with a worthy ending (although it does come very close to one of my classic vanity plots, if you know what I mean Shadows ). Good job on the hosting, Jlblue for the first bit and of course Shadows for the second half. You have a great hosting style, and I truly hope you decide to host your own game in the future. I had fun while I was around and found it to be a different experience. Well done to Escape the Fate for a commendable effort, that role is always one of the hardest in these games. I congratulate you, and I think you deserve your new tag!
  5. I was in the understanding that I was to be hosting my game in August; I had been down for that slot since October last year. Although it appears someone has removed all the dates, and now the order is a bit muddled up. I kind of wanted to host at the same time I did last year, as I won't be away...
  6. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, very much appreciated everyone. Happy birthday to you as well Alice, hope you had a great day!
  7. What a great night, I slept like a log! A log in a comfy bed! So, what shall we do today ladies and gentlemen? I say we go take a look somewhere we haven't explored yet, I don't mind where though. What's for breakfast Chef?
  8. Mark goes to have a rest in his cabin after a long and exciting card game. Right all, I'm off in the morning, I'll be back on the 11th. Don't have too much fun without me. Bye! EDIT: I've managed to find an internet connection so I may be one here spontaneously once or twice.
  9. Man Badger, I love you and Will! An Australian reseller, just what I needed! While I love buying directly from Will, I'm sure I will take advantage of this service if it proves to save on some of the shipping/currency conversions. Will Minifig World be selling any of the new chrome products that were seen at BrickWorld? That big tray of chrome is very overwhelming, isn't it? I must also add that the glow-in-the-dark items look very cool, although I take it they are hard to photograph? As for the new prototypes, all I can say is that they certainly meet and exceed the BrickArms standard. That Retro Raygun in particular has me quite excited! Thanks for the news and pictures a very enjoyable way to start my day!
  10. Welcome to our corner of the on-line community, enjoy yourself here! That's a pretty sweet stadium, I hadn't come across it yet when browsing the photo galleries from BrickWorld.
  11. Nice job Hinckley, you definitely deserved this! Have fun in your new job and keep us updated! We're all so proud of you.
  12. I heard they had some of the castle sets as well, did you see any? Such as, say, the Drawbridge Defence? I've confirmed with ToyWorld that it is a 20% discount on all Lego.
  13. Thanks mate, hopefully I'll get a chance to use it. They had Endor in the Toyworld Megastore in Wellington, so I presume the others should be getting it fairly soon.
  14. Will I need one of these vouchers to get the discount, and if so, how do I get them?
  15. Unfortunately mine doesn't. I'm going to be away from the 1st to the 10th, which kind of sucks in terms of me missing that first bit. I may be able to find some computer access at one or two points, but I can't count on it. I'll be back for some code cracking on the 10th though. Have fun TheBrickster, you need some time off from this rabble!
  16. Oh dear, I do hope they understand. It's not like they don't have nice warm homes nearby anyway, I mean, I really don't see why they would want to sleep on the floor of a train when they could return to their own beds for the night... Ah well, nothing I can do about it, the train company has made their decision. I brought back my cards if anyone is interested in a game. Oh, this food is delicious!
  17. I'm going to retire to my cabin for a bit to get cleaned up and check on my various belongings, and then I'll come to the dining room for a proper dinner. We haven't really eaten much this past day, and I'm famished!
  18. I think you forget who has the two handguns. Friend. *laughs evilly* Jokes aside, what shall we do now? I want to have a good rest in my comfy 5-star train cabin if I can please.
  19. I don't think we really want to let any of you townies on the train just yet, since we don't know who we can trust. Sorry. However, you guys could all return to your homes while we, the train passengers and crew, stay on board this nice train!
  20. Indeed, half price from what I heard (that is, $70 down from $140). A good deal, although I need to focus my budget to other sets myself. I hope the castle sets become available soon, they would be very helpful for a certain project I'm working on, particularly those gold knights...
  21. That's the one thing that really bothers me as well, it just looks strange. Also, when the legs are bent the tops of them are white as well, which ruins the effect if the stormie wants to sit down. Still, a beautiful figure if I might say so myself. Chrome pants ON!
  22. Could we look in he coal tender and the cabin to see if we can determine what exactly was the cause of our stop? If it was this stuff on the coal, I want to see if we can find out what the substance is.
  23. I was thinking that, but didn't want to say in case it might ruin the surprise...
  24. The gun had only five bullets in it when it was found, and I'd say it still does. The sixth bullet had already been spent however, which means someone had used the gun already. Personally I don't think it was Grease, as he has been with us the whole time since the weapon was found. I suspect it was one of the townies...
  25. I'm not saying you murdered anyone Max, I'm just thinking that since you had it for some period, that perhaps it would have been easier for someone else to get their hands on it without anyone noticing. I presume this murder took place at the time the train stopped, we were just so confused that nobody noticed, although I do recall some of the crew mentioning the coal was wet or something. Why didn't we check back then, I really don't know. Anyway, Max, for what time period did you have the handgun, and where did you keep it? I think that might be a good starting place for us.
