  1. I thought you were reserving that spot for me... Please be quiet. Why? Because if you do, I'll invite you to this castle I'm visiting later in the year. Nice job Shadows, very comical in a sadistic and twisted way.
  2. Guys, I'm fairly sure we are meant to do voting via the Personal Messaging system the empire has set up for us. Well at least we're doing something I guess. hopefully the Grand Admiral approves, although I get the feeling he doesn't approve of anything.
  3. Oh awesome. After all that talk earlier though, I went and left my gear locked in my cabin on the train. Ah well, maybe another time? You... you... I agree, we need to find a way out. If we can't find a good way out before nightfall however, I suggest we return to the train. I'd rather sleep there than in the town. So, there is only one road out, and that's got a dodgy bridge that I'd prefer to avoid. The closest town is 8 hours away. Therefore it seems to me that the only way we can leave this place is by train, which is fine by me. The question is, how can we go about trying to fix it? I mean, group 1 is trying to find spare parts, and group 3 is looking for coal, so what should we do? I don't suppose we could take another look at the engine to assess if there is any other way of fixing it?
  4. It looks like I'm with you uys then. I guess I won't be able to teach that farmer how to play D&D after all... I don't suppose any of you are interested. To the matter at hand though. Clearly the other groups are going for fixing/refueling the train, so what are we doing? Clearly we need to leave aboard the train, but I guess some other way will do for now, as I take it the other groups will catch up in the train later if we get out first. So then, let's take a look at this Big Rig of yours Lorraine, it sounds like a good place to start. We're going to need some good luck to get out of this place...
  5. I didn't bring that much really, only the basic necessities plus a couple of advanced extras. I left the majority back at home, I sure do hope I brought everything I will need if I ever get to play a game. I got a couple in a Harbinger Expansion Pack, they're really rare! Unfortunately I didn't bring them though. I knew I would need them! Why do you ask? That's really pretty! I can understand why Herman is always chasing after you, you look gorgeous in that dress.
  6. ...and my D&D Icons Colossal Red Dragon miniature, Gargantuan Blue Dragon miniature, and Gargantuan Black Dragon miniature, as well as my Archfiends Expansion Pack miniatures, the Dragonmarked Eberon Campaign supplement, and my Dungeon Delve rules supplement. That should about do it to help teach you the basics I should say. I also brought my entire Forgotten Realms Adventure Collection, so if you want to play a more advanced game later, then I could go get that at a later stage. I'm sure Herman would be interested in that, especially once I tell him that I brought my City of the Spider Queen miniatures. They're really rare and a real treat to play with.
  7. ...and my Divine Hero miniatures, and my Players Hand Book 2nd Edition, and my DU5 Dungeon tiles, and my Warlock Power Cards, and my Divine Power supplementary rules book, and my City Scape rules supplement, and my Dungeon Master's Guide II, and my Dungeon Master's Screen, and my Dungeon Survival Guide, and of course I'll need the Dungeons & Dragons For Dummies book, as well as my Heroes II Miniatures Box, and my Players Kit, and a Dungeonscape, and the original Dungeon Master's Guide Core Rulebook, and the Eberron Campaign Guide rules supplement, and my Dragons of Eberron Campaign supplement, and perhaps the Draconomicon would be appropriate, as well as the Five Nations Eberon Campaign Suppliment, and...
  8. buy' ngop! Trust me, you'll love it! I'll make sure I bring my cards and my full set of dice with me, and the players hand book, and my terrain tiles, and... *runs to fetch a bag.*
  9. Yes Grand Admiral. No Grand Admiral. Three bags full of Bantha Podo Grand Admiral.Would you like a biscuit with that? Right, well we better kill someone before he kills one of us I guess. I know who I'm voting for, have any of you decided? We don't have much to go off right now, but I have a feeling, and I trust my instincts when I have nothing better to trust.
  10. Dear me, I didn't think I was in the bathroom that long. What's going on here? We're splitting into groups? Right then, let me see, I think I will go with Group 3 if there is still room, this farm sounds interesting. In this time and place, we need to band together and be strong. This is an adventure the likes we have never seen before, unless you play D&D like Herman and I. Clearly, we are prepared for this. These townsfolk may be strange, but they are our only hope if we ever want to get back on track to LA and back on the case of our missing host Elizabeth, who's whereabouts is still a mystery. You read my mind brother! Together we can defeat any foe. The heart of the cards will guide us. *Shakes a deck of cards theatrically.* Remember everyone, may' Daa jaHDI' SuvwI' juppu' Daj lonbe.
  11. Crap, I've got like 5 pages to catch up! Could you Americans not post so much please?
  12. That was my precisely my point earlier; my impression is that we have stopped in a town, possibly by a platform, and I was wondering what a coincidence this is. Or is it?
  13. Turns to the window and shouts to the townsfolk who had better be on the platform and not in the train. So, do any of you know a lady called Miss Elizabeth Rose Thornton? Turns back to the passengers inside. So, did someone lock the doors? I don't think we should let any of these people on board. Firstly, they don't have a ticket, and secondly, I still think there is something not quite right about them...
  14. Indeed, this place is creeping me out. Does anyone else find it suspicious that our unscheduled stop just happens to be in a town of creepy, desperate people? Of all the places...
  15. Umm, I've never been to the engine. I didn't think I was allowed. I'm so confused, some staff are telling us not to leave the train no matter what, others are telling us to go have a look around town. May we disembark or not? Will somebody just give me a straight answer please!?
  16. I do hope you're not considering stealing it...
  17. ... *Checks to make sure the Grand Admiral is out of ear shot* Who the hell does this Grand Admiral think he is!? I volunteered for this post to get away from the psychotic high command. Really, Lord Vader would approve of this guy. *Mimicking the GA* Hello Imps, I am Grand Admiral Vol-dick, the high and whitey one. Bow down before me and listen to my lame jokes, or I will shoot you and then revive you so I can shoot you again. Anyway, you all heard him, let's get to work. We know there are two rebels amongst us. The question is, who? Who has been acting suspiciously and causing trouble and dissent in our ranks? It is these people we need to look for. Oh who am I kidding, we have nothing to work with, no hints, no clues, only a mental loony who will murder us all if we don't get something done. A typical situation for us Imperials really, don't you say? By the way, I don't suppose there are any paintings we can harass around here? I have this... urge to do so.
  18. Hello? Has anyone seen my d20? It rolled across the floor somewhere. What's with all these townsfolk invading our train? Don't you have better things to do? Well since your here now, help me look for my die please. Oh and the cards appear to have gone everywhere too... *To passengers* Umm, I have a bad feeling about this town, I think we should all stay on the train like the staff have suggested. There is just something not quite... right about these people. Perhaps we should lock the doors?
  19. The thing is that we only have your word for this, and I have received information that points to the knife already being locked up in the lockers, as Herman has attested to. From what I can see, you went in there with the intention of doing something with the knife. Until you can provide some evidence that you were not up to no good, I feel I can trust my other sources more. Of course, if you are telling the truth and you were moving the knife from your office to the lockers, which includes the assumption that three people have lied to me, which I highly doubt, then it brings up another question; why were you moving the knife at 3 in the morning? And also, why did you not turn up for your shift, and what were you doing instead? Max, your story really doesn't add up, and I must say I don't feel very safe on board this train at the moment with you in possession of the key to that locker. Herman told me the first time we talked that the knife is his. With nobody else disputing this, I am happy to believe this. I also believe that it was dropped out of his suitcase as it was carried onto the train, although whether accidentally or intentionally I'm uncertain. What I did note however was that you, Max, tried to blame the presence of the knife on myself or Arin, without any evidence whatsoever. Why was that? A whim? Or did you have a more sinister reason? Did you go through Herman's luggage and remove that knife? Because I am highly doubting that it feel out by itself. This has certainly put a damper on the trip, hasn't it? I hope we can sort this situation out soon, because I want to get back to the cards...
  20. Quite your complaining, I've got about 4 pages to sift through right now, and I know there will be more by tomorrow morning. Things keep moving so fast! (Never thought I'd say that either. )
  21. Certainly you may. If you wish to join now I might as well go get another pack as a spare, so I'd be happy to take a quick walk. I'll be back soon guys. Dynamic Movement: Go with Herman to fetch some more game stuff and see the Aventine Gorge. That Austin, I really don't know how he keeps winning all these games. And I thought I normally had all the luck... *grumble grumble* Walks out of Car accompanied by Herman (and possibly Brakes).
  22. Certainly Grease, you're in. That makes four of us, so we can get started if you like. Anyone else is of course welcome to join. Pulls out a deck of cards, flips them out and does a few fancy shuffling moves, then begins dealing. I brought along a set of chips as well. I knew I would need them! A set of poker chips is placed on the table and divided out, and the game is begun.
  23. Ah excellent! I'd be happy to play Poker perhaps. Or anything really. Does that sound good? I think it does. Anyone else want to join?
  24. That sounds great, I'm looking forward to it. So, anyone want to play a game of something between now and lunch? I know I do. What about you Herman? Are you keen?
