  1. My votes go for: 1) @evancelt because of the shape and right proportons of its scotish-like castle. 2) @Ayrlego for the aesthetic of its build, the combination of colours.
  2. Hello! I am also at the same stage as you. As a general advise, you should do some trials by working on the design of a small portion of the hull until you end up with sth satisfying before contemplating building the whole hull. To be fully honest, at first glance I thought you have designed a steam boat and was surprised that you intended to design a 18th century sail ship. I think, the curve of the hull is too sharp, you should try to you use some curved slopes. Widen the ships by 4 studs would be great as well.
  3. Ths is a really impressive work, did you realise all the printing on the figures by yourself?
  4. Hi, I like the combination of colours, they are very eye-catching. Don't you think the lower deck is a little bit too small to fit minifigures inside, I would have put it at 4 bricks high at least. Also, do you think there is enough space between the cannons for your crew to handle them? These are my reservations regarding the overall layout of the ship.
  5. Hello, what a great build, very thoughtfully done using the plans of an existing one. At first glance, I doubted this one could have been classified as a 4th rate ship since it has only one deck. Did you build the first deck by keeping the proportion of the original ship? The height appears a little bit too small (4 bricks high).
  6. Hello, I love so much the association of colour, this is truly one of the best model of a building I have seen so far. The shapes combined with the choices of colours are really captivating, great architecture artwork (whatever the technics employed).
