  1. I don't think anything can top the fever dream of Darth Jar-Jar, Jedi Bob, and a Rex microfighter. Though the sets being mentioned do sound promising!
  2. Plus, it would get more use out of the Twilek head mold, since Hera brought it back. Personally, though, I'd want Shaak Ti to find a spot at some point. She's only ever been in one set, and unlike most of the Jedi masters, she only has the bug-eyed Clone Wars head to represent her.
  3. I used to go on there occasionally for interviews and reviews, but I've tried to stay away for years. There are way better options out there that don't shove a popup window at you every time you click on a new article.
  4. It's still up for me in the US.
  5. Looks like there will be a GWP:
  6. And The Legend of Zelda Ocarina.. for 57 cents?! I just placed an order with some, we'll see if it gets cancelled...
  7. The Book Nook idea was first voiced by be - I just thought it was odd that the leak came from nowhere and didn't seem to have any other sets tied to it. Ergo, it could have been some kind of a one-off retailor exclusive, which is why my mind went there. If we're getting more Sony Spider-Man sets, though, my idea could very well be wrong!
  8. There's several other apps that are completely free. I use Minifig Scan, but there are others that also work. Brick Fanatics is just greedy, frankly.
  9. That would be a great way to get characters - but another part of a CMF is to get new molds and prints. Most Starfleet characters would be very similar in terns of uniforms, and outside of some head molds, phasers, and maybe some Borg arms, there's not a lot of characters that would deserve a 100% new mold.
  10. Plot twist - Johnny will be on fire, Sue will be invisible, and Reed will be stretchy - but the Thing will be a normal minifigure like Korg, and will somehow have the only normal torso of the bunch.
  11. I got several sets from last wave, and I need to keep some saved for Mushroom Village - I think I'll need to pass on these. Though I am tempted by the Seaside Market - I might be swayed by reviews.
  12. I don't want it to be a bookend either! Just preparing for the worst for now (though it would be very odd if 2 of the 3 bookend sets were train-based). Still... A one-off wave covering the first few Spidey films would be fantastic, especially considering the lack of new Marvel stuff/redundancy of current sets. I'll let you dream of a full train; I'll dream of a second, smaller set featuring Green Goblin with a proper mask.
  13. So, if that is the scene we're talking about... A full set? A Marvel bookend, like the LoTR and Harry Potter one?
  14. Doesn't Doc Ock say that line directly to Spidey to get him off his tail after the bank robbery? I'll need to check... EDIT: Yup! 3:27 in this clip:
  15. Light brown, black, and white. In either case, though, I highly doubt that they would use the wolves in the Twilight set - in the movie, they're bigger than people and would need to be as big as the old Wargs.
  16. It's probably the later ones - more recognizable, and they can be repurposed for Voyager/early DS9 uniforms. Plus, Guinan and Spot didn't show up until later in the show, so it would make more sense for later uniforms to match with them. In either case, a $40-60 shuttle with 3 or 4 minifigs would be a great help for massing uniforms and making customs. Knowing Lego, though, it will only be big sets...
  17. I will still maintain my minority opinion that I would have rather gotten a bridge with a bunch of minifigs in the same vein as the TV show sets - but I'm very interested in this still! My only hope is that we don't get a look at the final set and the price, only to feel underwhelmed by what is presented. I had been wanting The Legend of Zelda for years, but was pretty disappointed in a $300 tree with only a few minifigures. I'm hopeful the price stays closer to $300 since there won't need to be many minifig molds - but who knows that the "licensed tax" for this will end up being? A good GWP would also be nice - I think a shuttle would be too big, but I think the Ready Room could work.
  18. Paw curls The employee gift for 2025 is a holiday-themed B-wing with exclusive part recolors and a unique torso, making it impossible to cobble together with one's own parts. The Paw will always find a way.
  19. Both. Specifically, the list right now is: 4+ Sets: 11201: $19.99 (104 pieces) 11202: $29.99 (133 pieces) 11203: $69.99 (382 pieces) 30687: Polybag Duplo Sets: 10458: $29.99 (22 pieces) 10459: $69.99 (83 pieces) I still don't know if I quite buy that the "Berry" theme is 100% going to be Bluey, but I might be interested in some if they do come out. At least to be able to get figures of Bluey and Bingo. Either way, I'm taking it with a grain of salt until we here something more concrete. Star, Trek, though, has be quite excited! I know that MOCs and other brands have existed now for awhile for the sets, so I'm excited to see what minifigures they go with. Will they start with TOS? TNG? Go the route of the Deku Tree and make a 2-in-1? Make the full ship, or just go with the bridge? I would love it if we could eventually get into more niche things like Quark's Bar or even Voyager, but it's almost certainly going to be an Enterprise first.
  20. I also had some luck recently - a local store had not one, not two, but five cases out! Got a few Wolfpacks for myself, plus a pirate, astronomer, and jetpack guy for some gifts, plus helped a few other people find the ones they were looking for. The Minifig Scan app worked perfectly - I really appreciate that the images "linger" a little longer so I can remember what I just scanned. I even got them at $4 a pop thanks to a Christmas toy coupon. A Christmas miracle indeed! Also, for me, the Wolfpacks all seemed to be concentrated on the lower level of the case, in the front left corner. Not sure if that will be consistent for everyone or not, but that might be a good place to start if you need to go quick.
  21. That gimmick was a major detriment to the Hulkbuster, which had to be designed to fit the Iron Man constructable inside. It would also mean that a large area of the ship is just a large, empty hole by default, probably without a lot of detail. I'm not in the market for the Death Star in either case, but I do think that idea has some issues.
  22. I'm going to take a guess now and say that the upcoming Death Star will come with only a few minifigures to put on a plaque - just like all of the other UCS sets that have come out in the past while. I know the past ones had a bunch of minifigs, but I'm not getting a feeling that this one will be like that - especially if they go for the half-complete look of Death Star II. I could very well be wrong, but that's the hunch I'm going to go with.
  23. I can think of at least five off the top of my head: The Lego Movie, The Lego Movie 2, The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Lego Batman Movie, and The Adventures of Clutch Powers
  24. Nah... I think they look fine as-is. Sure, a smoother top would make them more screen-accurate, but then they slowly become more of a "generic action figure" instead of a "Lego minifigure," if that makes sense. It would be like having individual fingers on the hands or noses and ears on every head - I just don't think it would look right.
  25. I think there's far too many Disney characters I'd rather get over these two in a future Disney CMF. At best, there's also only ever been one "side character" per movie per series (Toy Story alien, Cheshire Cat), and they're always accompanied by a "main character" (Buzz, Alice). Seeing how Stitch has been in two CMFs and Lilo will soon be available in two sets (and doesn't really need CMF treatment), not only would I not want to see Jumba or Bleakley in the CMF, but I think their chances of appearing are extremely small.
