  1. Ok, i do like reading old posts and reviews and apparently this is illegal connection:). Luckily it's 2026. So i will be a good boy and i will replace this ancient relic with modern legal solution:). Thanks to this pin:).
  2. More progress for the instructions. Now i will take the much needed break. I have builded this 4-5 days straight and i have not gone outside or grocery shopping. So now i will take much needed break from this:). And in case you are curious yes, my fingers really hurt yesterday evening when i stopped for the night, because i had builded 4-5 days straight about over 12h a day. With minimal breaks:).
  3. Allright now the free Gen3 instructions madness begins:). Let's see how well i can replicate the 8043 boom instructions. Because im noob with u joints;).
  4. Little bit of testing. The 1x XL motor can handle 3 boom functions at the same time without any issues. So even thought this has only 1 motor. The 8043 boom is as playable as on the real 8043 set with 4 motors. But since the 8043 used M motors the 8043 isin't as powerfull as this one. Because my model uses XL motor:).
  5. Allright my first upper gearbox design had few weird quirks. So i had to rework the gearing. Now it doesn't anymore have any quirks:).
  6. For benchmarking purposes(Pls note i don't own the 42215). The 42215 has 3 really slow lineactuator functions and 1 meh useless slow bucket unlocking function. My newest moc has 4 "slower" functions and 2 slightly faster functions. My model uses 1x XL motor with slower gear ration. For maximum power and torque;). While the 42215 uses 1x C+ L motor. Which is painfully slow and slightly weak for it's setup:). And unlike the failed project which was on instructions table when i noticed that had a major flaw. The new moc has been tested more deeply and thruly and it doesn't have any serious issues so far. Im really happy and proud how my new flagship model turned out:). The new model includes my first Ackermann steering setup:).
  7. The newest model includes my first easily removable battery box. In the previous motorized model. The battery box was part of the structure so it was imbossible to change batteries. Luckily the newest model fixes this:).
  8. More progress:). I have tested the "Frankenstein" excavator and it works really good. Yes, superstructure is a bit back heavy. But the the 8043 boom does counterbalance it enought. And this model is powered by 1x XL motor so this is more powerfull than the sad 42215:). And if you have questions about the boom. My gearing is different to 8043. The bucket and second part of the boom does move similar speed to 8043. But the lower 2 sylinders move slower than the 8043:). I was really happy that i was able to hide nicely the chassis and superstructure functions switch. So the exhaust pipe switches between the chassis and superstructure functions:).
  9. More progress:). And yes, this is a frankenstein monster. The gearbox layout is from 42082 and the boom is from 8043:). And now the mechanical side is done:).
  10. Oh, thats more primitive than i thought or imagined. But hey good for 90s and probably really advanced for 90s tech. So i wont judge the slightly primitive system by todays standards:).
  11. Oh the Autonomous driving sounds really cool for 90s model. I didn't know the super street sensation can do that :). Interesting that it tooked nearly 30 years to make it work in real life. And the results are kind of mixed. Luckily in finland we don't have that much Autonomous vehicles. In tampere one nysse(tampere bus/public transit system name) bus route is drived by Autonomous bus and the trip is about 10km both directions or 5km one direction:).
  12. The new hail mary lego set has even more gears and technic than i thought :).
  13. Who the h*ll puts motors into that massive heavy monstrossity. Like how you can drive that indoors and if you go outside, pieces gets losted all the time:/.
  14. They allready maded that:). With all the bells and whistles:).
  15. Yeah, poor suspension springs. They will have to do a lot more of heavy lifting in the future if the switch to 1:6 cames:).
  16. Yeah, and if they moved to 1:6. Soon Lego.Com comment section will be full of negative comments. Because peoples had to buy bigger more expensive houses to store and display them;).
  17. Thanks to 2ttoys website. They have revealed that the 42232 will have 4104pcs. Finally after 6 years since the 42100 launch we have again a massive 4000pcs beast. But unfortanetly and sadly this means the construction machinery or heavy machinery will not receive anymore 4000pcs. All the heavy machinery currently have bellow 3000pcs. This is really sad that the car set has over 4000pcs while heavy machinery receives only bellow 3000pcs and they are slow to operate like the 42215. But hey for positives this could mean lego will try to compete with the Cada Mercedes Amg gt3 for the details and the looks. Since the supercar set doesn’t have 3500pcs anymore:).
  18. @kbalage Will you review the hail mary. Because im really curious about those functions. And how the single crank controls the 2 different functions. And in my opinion the hail mary is kind of like the dune ornithopter with amazing technical features and functions:).
  19. Ok, now the product page is up and there is a lifestyle video. So the crank controls 2 functions. The rotation and the small rear section motion:). https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/project-hail-mary-11389
  20. Ok, the new lego hail mary set has a bucket load of technic functions ä, gears turntables, cv joints, cranks:).
  21. Ok, i don't know anything about hail mary. I have never even heard about hail mary until now. But the new hail mary lego set has cv joints turntables cranks. And seemingly a bucketload of technic functions. My interest peaked now. Finally a exiting new "technic" release:).
  22. Yeah, for me it is looking like dark bronze color. So who knows maybe lego introduce a new color the dark bronze:). And since the P1 introduced many new orange colored panels. Maybe lego will introduce for this one a new color scheme. And since koenigsegg headquaters are in sweden if lego messes up the color or the looks the angry sweds probably will attact denmark;).
