  1. That would be a welcome surprise. Unless they do a "Heroes Icons" as the counter to put in people like Merida, Tarzan, Young Hercules, and Raya. Just noticed the misprint on the Disney Duos box. It lists Beauty and the Beast as 1992 release date when the film released in 1991
  2. Must say, I'm much more in love with the Villains Icons set now with better photos. I still wish they had given Maleficent a cape but that can be fixed easily. Also loving that they synched Gaston's waist. Also hoping those Little Mermaid shots are foreshadowing potential Ariel and Eric classic minifigures before the 100 line is done.
  3. That's even more interesting/risky when you take into account the adults they are targeting with the set would have grown up and been more nostalgic for the classic animated figures instead of the remake versions. Though it is great to hear Disney acknowledges the adult base that does prefer minifigures. That being said, my sister ended up finding the Frozen minidolls I have after buying the Ice Palace and was adamant that the minidolls were better than minigifures so there is definitely an appeal with them to not discredit entirely.
  4. Of the 5 sets unaccounted for, are they only for this year or does that include set numbers for 2024 as well? I'm thinking with how they have been drip feeding these sets to release over a year long period, we may see even more next year, at least up until March 2024 for a whole year of sets. Edit: Forgot the Brickheads came out March 1, meaning March 2023 - March 24 would be the year
  5. I think only Belle, Cinderella, and Tiana would have a chance at the big skirt piece as they are the only princesses with hoop skirts. Every other princess can get away with a regular dress piece or legs depending. (I guess also Ariel in her Pink dress or Anna in her coronation dress, but up in the air if they would be showing up here)
  6. I think that is the main issue. If one princes is in a ballgown, they all have to be in ballgowns. Disney won't let Cinderella show up without her iconic look, especially as the face of the Disney Princess brand, and it would look awkward if Snow White is off in the corner with a mop and bucket cleaning up the place. Although for practical purposes, I would love it. A rags Snow White in the castle means no duplicate when she shows up in her dress for the Cottage set (if it ever comes out)
  7. I wouldn't be too worried. They can always handle it as they do the minidoll version of Beast and give him the Beast as a helmet with the human head underneath and a different head. Would need to have brown or skin tone hands which would look awkward but
  8. I wonder if they would ever do a set kind of like 80108, with 6 vignettes of Disney moments and minifigures. Would be an easy way to get figs and moments that wouldn't necessarily sell as solo sets. Merida on Angus with the wisps/ Ariel and Eric in Kiss the Girl/ Arthur pulling the sword in the stone/ Peter and Wendy flying by Big Ben/ Belle and Beast dancing/ Mary Poppins and Bert in Jolly Holiday Something along those lines?
  9. Anyone find it odd that Tiana is supposedly included in the Disney Castle after just having been in the CMF? I feel like they should have put her in her blue dress for the CMF and saved her green dress for the castle to match Naveen. Or do we think they could have a new ballgown mold to use for Cinderella and Tiana instead?
