  1. I mean Olaf and Bruni buildable is $50 and Kevin and Dug are $60 so its certainly plausible its a buildable Lotso. I do think we have a bit tooooo many buildable figures in the lineup as is. Either these sell far better than I expected or Disney is just really adverse to minifig sets over posable models.
  2. So far this is what we have for upcoming: 43280: Lilo and Stitch Beach Fun 43282: Country Cottage and Boat (4+) 43283: Cinderella's Castle (4+) 43289: Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Castle 43292: Buildable Pua 43293: Buildable Kakamora 43294: Rapunzel's Small Tower 43295: Jasmine's Jewelry Box 43296: Buildable Stitch and Scrump 43297: Rapunzel's Castle 43298: Disney Advent Calendar 43299: Ariel's Royal Wedding Boat 43300: Buildable Winnie the Pooh (18+) 43301: Slinky Dog Book Ends 43302: ???? (18+) 43304: Disney Pixar (4+) 43305: Piglet's Birthday Fun I bolded the ones I think most likely to be minifigure though I think we could only expect reissued or slightly updated prints if anything. 43304 and 43301 may have minifigures, the book end and book nook sets have always come with them but Slinky may be such an intricate build there is nothing else added to it. And while 4+ Pixar sets have been minifigure sets in the past, Inside Out had minidolls and I'm not sure what it would be. I doubt any of the others would be anything than minidolls, fitting with the Disney Princess theme but if I end up being wrong, I won't be mad about it.
  3. I'd love a Rapunzel Tower 18+ as well but not sure how likely that is given the Disney Princess lineup. Looks like 43294 is Rapunzel's Small Tower (171 pcs, June) and 43297 Rapunzel's Castle (676 pcs, June) are coming out the same time and may be too much competition. Or its just a Rapunzel heavy year.
  4. Odds we get a new hair mold for Lilo or at least dual molded arms? 43302 looks like an 18+ with no piece or price attached. We thinking along the lines of Snow White and Beauty and the Beast or another buildable? Seems like its following after the buildable Winnie the Pooh and Slinky Book Ends?
  5. Speed Champions Lightning McQueen revealed. Have to say, between the Wall-E and Eve and now this, the Pixar buildables are killing it. Love how they captured his grin so well in brick form
  6. The Disney Princess short dropped. It acts as a promo/story for the Princess Market Adventure set which is odd given how soon its retiring. Wonder if there was a delay and the short was intended to come out sooner. Anywho, the buildable Chernabog has me yearning for a real one. Going to try and break it down in studio. Black pieces can't be too hard to come by.
  7. I'm going to choose to live in my delusions of a set for Winnie the Pooh despite the very reasonable idea of a buildable figure. I would happily compromise for a book nook instead. Edit: I know it wouldn't be the case given the set numbers, but I suppose they could do a book nook without Disney's involvement since all of the Winnie-the-Pooh books are public domain now. Wouldn't need to pay for any licensing for the 100 acre wood
  8. New Leaks out: 43300: Winnie the Pooh - $149 43301: Slinky Dog Book Ends $149 43290: Kevin and Dug $59 43288: Sally's Flower Pot $49.99 (Minidoll) Happy to see the minidoll options are expanding beyond just the princesses to more parts of the studio like with Villains and now Sally. I think the Dug and Kevin will be like Wall-E and Eve. But that Winnie the Pooh set....be still my heart they're finally picking it back up. Hoping it's Rabbit's House and Garden or just a more general 100 Acre Wood set with Kanga, Roo, Owl, and Christopher Robin in there somehow.
  9. If we don't count Andy and Sid, I would say yes. Although a good point raised is that the book nooks/book ends Lego has been putting out come with minifigures. Do we think Lego will break that trend with Slinky Dog or do we think we could get some figures in the set too? Not sure who they would put with the 30th set still on shelves. Maybe Rex, Hamm, and some Army men to round out the rest of Andy's Toys?
  10. With the new leak, I'm going to imagine the $149 is the Slinky Dog Book ends. How odd Lego is putting time into book nooks and book ends but we never got a follow up to the Disney Villain bookends from a few years ago.
  11. a $149 Disney classic and $149 Pixar set. I assume this wouldn't be the larger minifigure sets we've been getting in March/April and the price could suggest a larger buildable Marie. Unsure of what the Pixar one would be. A build able Dug?
  12. Anyone else bothered Elphaba doesn't have a cape in either of the minifigure sets? Or any set for that matter
  13. With the new Lion mold for Wicked, what is the possibility of Lego repurposing it into a Simba or Mufasa in the future?
  14. Kind of confused why Pfanne is getting a minifig but not someone like Nessa or Boq that are more plot relevant. Odd choice but happy to have minifigures.
  15. I know big castles for D2C sets is a bit obvious and overdone, but Agrabah is such a unique design I wouldn't mind it. Would be cool if you could flip the throne room between Jafar and the Sultan's colors almost like the 2004 Knights Kingdom castle.
  16. I feel like the Jolly Roger would be a good candidate for the "large all-in-one" sets they seem to be doing with the Dwarf Cottage and Beast's Castle. Skull Rock would make for a nice, smaller build for Hook. Also a Hades set that comes with 2 Titans would be a dream come true.
  17. Glad its minifigure scaled but slightly disappointed in the $50 price tag and only 1 Dalmatian. Would have liked 3 at least.
  18. For those holding out hope, turns out Baby Elephant in the Sky is just a...literal baby elephant...in the sky. So no Dumbo set And depending on your feeling towards the Friends style of animals, Figaro is another unexpected character.
  19. She's so pretty. So happy they made her. Also liking the lighter purple on Buzz. Hopefully his face doesn't have the same discoloration issue past versions of him have struggled with.
  20. Holy crap, a molded Mushu! Not looking forward to what he's going to cost over Bricklink
  21. Given the piece count, I wouldn't hold my breath for much. Cruella is most likely the only figure with 2 or 3 puppies (maybe a Pongo or Perdita if Disney is feeling generous) Don't know what the renewed interest in 101 Dalmatians is about with 3 Lego sets this year but I'll take what I can get.
  22. I think that's one of my favorite developer insights they've done. Interesting that they did have it in grey and changed it because it read as too gloomy and that the Disney Parks version was one of the bigger references for the shape. My question though is, Belle in her yellow dress already existed in the Disney100 set and is currently still in print. Couldn't they have reused that figure to save money, same as Snow, the Prince, and Old Hag for the Dwarves Cottage? Still would have needed a new hair mold but bummed it ended up on the cutting room floor.
  23. But she IS in the ballgown when having dinner with Beast right before she pulls him into the ballroom during "Beauty and the Beast." I think its just Lego combining the two scenes into one location
  24. Leave it to Ashnflash to answer the question: the space behind the Wardrobe is to hold the "sitting" piece when not in use. Similar to the little alcove above for the not in use Beast parts
  25. I feel like its a secret, only because I don't know why the function of a "dress" change would be included unless there was another dress to swap into. As someone who doubted there was a secret its odd to have it both confirmed to exist and yet there be nothing there.
