It's so beautiful

I have been rewatching a bunch of Clone Wars lately and while I was initially impressed with this Rex figure, I no longer am. The arm printing is the only desirable attribute. Official, custom, whatever it is, I have yet to see a single minifigure do Rex justice, in my opinion. I guess it's hard because of how unique his armor is, but this one feels like a step up and back from the 2013 one. Official pics of the Venator have revealed a few more stickers than I initially thought as well. I spot 6

Set is most definitely worth it. Top 3 SW sets this year for me easily.

I think the only pitfall of this set is that the 2 republic logos are stickers. This is especially annoying since from what I can tell they are the only 2 on the set. For a $650 set, you'd expect for it to be printed.

Might be early to say this but that is easily a top 5 set of all time in my book

Harder for these things to leak now that the plaques are printed rather than sticker. As a matter of fact, it's a good thing we haven't seen anything yet if it is indicative of there being no sticker sheet. Definitely going for the ROTS look with mine, will probably end up doing the 2014 hair. Thanks for the help! A UCS T-6 at the $240 slot would be great imo. As for the Ghost, it depends on what scale they want to take it to and ultimately the amount of popularity it gains from this Ahsoka show. It's been discussed on here many times, but a minifig scale Ghost would be an absolute behemoth.

New Palpy fig is great, but the hair just doesn't do it for me. I feel like General Dodonna's hair might look good on him? Any other suggestions? I guess the biggest issue is that he is definitely not blonde which was weird that they made him blonde in 2012, then white in 2014, then blonde again in 2023.

Finished building the Ghost & Phantom II laaaate last night. A 10/10 set IMO. Well worth $160.

I ended up just going to my Lego store for T-6 and Ghost is out for delivery currently from Amazon.

Dang... the Chopper fig with the Ghost is actually not that great. As we've seen, with Lego, this is a one step forward, one step backwards kind of thing. Back printing is nice, but my goodness the head piece looks so bad without the 360 degree printing that the old version coming on 10 years old had. I know this may have looked awkward too, but I wish they would've found a way to incorporate his arms into it.

Solid advice, I'm all set for tomorrow! T-6 is a must for me solely based on minifigures. Build is not as horrendous as some feel, though not amazing. Heavily debating the Shin's fighter vs E-Wing set. Morgan, Baylan, and Shin are must have figs, but I don't really want either ships or the NR figs. B+N discount knocks it down to $100, but just don't know if I need all the extra. Ghost was pre-ordered a whilleeeee ago : )

Does anyone know if Barnes and Noble is getting these sets tomorrow? Nothing on their site. Their 10% member discount is the only way I justify some of these sets lol

Correct, I have no information haha. Just making a comment based on the time frame and what we've seen in the past.

Still have had no luck finding any sets early. Might go out later today for one final scrounge. Also, it's getting to be that time 👀 possible some Venator leaks coming up here shortly...

Can't wait to get my hands on all these new sets. I am mostly excited to upgrade these new figs. Jyn Erso's poncho will look great on Ahsoka Hopefully FireStar comes out with some new Sabine arms Baylan definitely will look better with the shoulder pads and a new hair piece. Does anyone have any recs for a good replacement? Shin also will look sick with a cape

I'm sure someone will make replacement arms for her at some point. But other than that, I think the rest of the figs are great given what they did.

I am a minifigure collector first and foremost.
