  1. Still had these short video's lying around with outdated looks for some characters. Choose your champion. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  2. That's a really cool moc, nice to see some Rings of Power stuff on here :)
  3. Diggy diggy hole anyone? Welcome to Siltoryn, home of the dwarves. Showing my fantasy era love with these again. I didn't change the figures much, mostly just the heads. The dwarf barbarian from the D&D cmf was a great addition to my lineup. The different helmet styles and colours made for an easy way to group the dwarves into classes: king, warriors, miners and blacksmiths. The miners and blacksmiths may be called to battle should the need arise. Like in fantasy era, these dwarves are close allies to the crown knights. They share some armaments too. The king, princesses and royal guard. Crossbowmen and infantry. Miners and blacksmiths. That jewel, might there be more of them? Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  4. The next faction is no faction at all. These are no common brigands, they are rogue knights and warriors. Beware the sorceress. Lord Basil will suffer no king. At first I meant the two warriors and the sorceress to serve a dark lord but ended up scrapping that idea. Instead I made my first rogue knight, the skeleton one. The silver dragon knight is of course the true rogue knight. Though no longer ''naked'' I felt it a waste to not use that beautiful shield. Lady Iron Dragon and Basil the Bat Lord remain much the same. Fear not for the wolf knight's cloak, I put it to better use. The rogues.
  5. That's a nice looking palisade.
  6. I don't have much in the way of structures for my factions unfortunately. I won't spoil the ones I do have just yet, I still plan to post some small mocs and modifications. They sit in the middle for me. I never really liked the look of the Dragon Masters. I'm also not sure if the Rogue Knights from Knight's Kingdom II count as dragon knights due to Dracus's shield.
  7. Red dragons on the horizon, send for the green! Initially I had conceived to have a wolfpack brigand group, but I luckily was able to aquire a few red dragons. These unsavory fellows will pillage and plunder for the right price, or the higgest bidder. but the knight who leads them, could he be no knight at all? You'll notice these figures are a little more diverse in arms and armour. They take hints from the other factions, though who supplies them I wonder. The red dragon mercenaries.
  8. I hope you all packed your winter coats, we're heading for Doarlunyn. Like my lion knights, this faction started with a single figure. I had two snow guardians from the CMF and turned one into an elf. I liked the wintery look so I made some more and even got the elf maiden cmf for the hair. Strahd's outfit from the D&D cmf fit in with the northern look so I used it for the king. While I don't have many elves, I do plan to expand this faction in the future. The elven king and the rangers of Doarlunyn. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  9. Here come the trolls of Escaria. This is where I break with my use of unique heads, I haven't yet found any good ones to diversify my trolls. I am aware of the orc cmf but I never got any. I kept the trolls mostly unchanged from the sets, but I did add some armour and spears. These trolls don't have a king and exist as ''warbands'' under the leadership of local warchiefs. Generally they aren't prone to warmongering though. Warchiefs, troll youths and a half-troll. Armoured trolls and archers. Guardians and warriors. I liked the use of the Heroica sword piece as speartips. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  10. I saw these on Instagram earlier, but they still look so good together.
  11. This looks great, like it fits right in with the other adventures sets. I love the play features too.
  12. They look awesome. I also used the left guy's head on one of mine lion knights :)
  13. It does come is the royal castle, but I know it best as Sir Adric's armour from the final wave of Knights Kingdom II. The armour is actually red with silver, you saw a green version of it among my crown knights. it caught a bit too much of the sun in the photo, I'm still getting used to my new editing software.
  14. Lydonia's last defenders. I did not intend to have a faction of lion knights. It started with one breastplate. Then I made a figure, the Lydonian Exile. Then I added some more. Having already established Lydonia as a fallen kingdom I had no need of a large army. In the past they were equal to Kestrallis, now only Halloran can hope to match them. Two (former) royal guards and a standard knight. Spearmen, archers and a jester. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  15. That also makes for a good look. I do quite like the simplicity of older figures. I'm actually not that big of a fan of printed arms or the side of legs either. The printed cape on the falconer torso does look weird. I used to have realistic skintones on my figures, but switched back to yellow. It just seemed to spark more joy. That's some good lore. I haven't found a good use for my paladin armour yet.
  16. That's really cool stuff. I would love to see some pictures of them, maybe you could get your start another topic with your collection and get everybody to share their factions and lore. I also like Nørðumbriå as a kingdom name, it goes well with Morcia from Knights Kingdom II. All we need now is a Lego equivalent of Wessex. I am wondering though which lion knights you have, or did you mix and match the various ones?
  17. Thanks for the comment. For most of my factions I prefer the more uniform styling. My Black Falcons are meant to be the most militarised kingdom in the lore, that's why they all wear the same tunic as well. You'll find a bit more diversity among a couple of my other factions, but I shan't spoil them here.
  18. That also makes for a good look. I kept it for the Falcon Guard. To me the black armour looks ''heavier'' and stands out from my other factions. As I post the others you'll see more of the faction identities in terms of colour, armour and weapons. You can also infer connections between the factions that way. Don't worry though, the next faction will bear flat silver ;)
  19. Next up, the kingdom of Kestrallis. Any castle fan will of course know them as the Black Falcons. I didn't grow up with classic castle so I never had any Black Falcons nor any interest in army building them. In the end I too was tempted by Pick a Brick. With no previous attachment to these knights they made for the perfect villan faction. I try to never use a head more than once with all these figures, save a twin or two. For Kestrallis specifically you'll notice a good number of mustachioed men. The king (THE Black Falcon), princess and the Falcon Guard. The cautious, the cruel, the brutish and the honourable. Spearmen. Swordsmen. Archers. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  20. I've become quite fond of them since I started collecting more castle stuff. I did have a couple of them when they came out in 2010 but never any of the fully armoured knights.
  21. Figured I would some pictures of my castle factions. I'll keep adding to this topic over time. Feel free so ask about any of the figures or lore stuff. First up is the kingdom of Halloran. The bulk of Halloran consists out of crown knights but they also include: green dragon knights, forest men, a lion knight (2013) and the warhorse knight (Knights Kingdom II). The Queen, King Consort and Queen's Guard. The warhorse knight and the knights of the Kestrallin Marches. Men-at-arms and crossbowmen. Spearmen. The green dragon knight and his retinue. The citizenry. The forest folk. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
  22. I quite like how this one turned out. It ought to be more of six stud wide design, but I scraped this together within an hour or so. The hatch on top also looks a little bulky. The title says AI pod, but it could just be the Mammal Pod for MGSV related stuff. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  23. I might not have a lego Metal Gear, but I do have bad guy to face. The figure is pretty simple but makes good use of a Darth Vader head. I also included the English strain of the vocal cord parasites. "You too have known loss. And that loss torments you still. You hope hatred... might someday replace the pain. But it never goes away. It makes a man hideous inside and out. Wouldn't you agree?" We both are demons. Our humanity won't return. You. Me. We've no place to run, nowhere to hide. And that is why I will show you my demon. Follow me, Big Boss!" "...Sans lingua franca, the world will be torn asunder. And then, it shall be free..." The Jeep build is heavily based on the Skull Face Speech Moc by Renk, you can chech it out here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-170743/Renk/mgsv-skull-faces-speech/#parts I actually built it without Renk's instructions. I studied the images from Rebrickable and used the instructions from the 40650 Land Rover Classic Defender (great set btw). Thanks for checking out my post and be sure to check out Renk's stuff :)
  24. Snake was a bit lonely so I made him some buddies. Had a bit of an Eureka moment when it came to making Quiet, it turns out the 2018 Black Widow has most of the parts needed. Ocelot required a bit more trail and error, In the end I settled in jacketed appreance from the start of the game. Taking aim. She's got your back. You know I had to include the revolver spinning. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  25. Decided to give Portable Ops some love by making Null a.k.a Gray Fox. Nothing too fancy with this figure, gave him his machete and submachine gun. Thanks for checking out my post :)
