LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Lego may have fed false info to find the mole. That would explain why the figure lineup for the Infiltrator was incorrect, despite most leakers corroborating it. Makes me consider the figures of all the others leaked sets to be potentially wrong as well -

The yellow is a stylistic choice -

Human characters in Lego don’t have pupils, they have a white “twinkle”, or a reflection, in their eyes to give them some dimension. Maul now is actually more in line with all the other Star Wars figs. -

I’d love for them to try MBS Cloud City again and give it the Rivendell treatment. But then again, I’d love for ANY new MBS set, Star Wars has too many iconic, pretty locations for them to release just one huge location-based set every three+ years. I’d easily be willing to “lose” a UCS set every two years to make room for more locations. -

Not for the figs obviously, for the transport. -

People are gonna be ordering like crazy to get multiples of the GWP carrier. Brickheadz also revealed. Panaka is surprisingly in the lineup. It’s the 25th anniversary of TPM, he’s in the branding, but Obi-Wan is not showing up in a single set. Maddening. -

Two sets linked together won’t look good on display but it gives kids some extra options for play, which is nice -

So it seems the tantive hallway connects in such a way that the second hallway has its back facing you. -

While the dark falcon is most definitely happening, I find it interesting that the leaks for the Sith Infiltrator’s initial figure lineup from reliable sources were very wrong. Makes me suspicious of all the other sets whose figure lineups are already “known”, especially in regards to the Barge which is even further out than the Infiltrator. -

Fair enough I said one! I still don’t think it’s Vader as the anniversary figure as he’s the only one so far who doesn’t show up in a movie, show, or game. -

Why would they include one antagonist to take on the Falcon? Neither the TROS nor the UCS version have antagonists in their figure lineup. I can’t remember the last time they only included a single bad guy in a falcon set, they haven’t done so in well over a decade at least. -

This. Vader is the only character in the lineup who doesn’t match the theme of the ship or the rest of the cast. Although, I hope the other anniversary figure is someone else entirely. -

Good catch. I think the door mechanism is all controlled with a handle that runs down the hallway from the back. Based on where it connects, two hallways would mean that two identical pillars would be right next to each other. -

Looking at photos of the tantive hallway, I can’t see where one could “break” the set to add to another one and extend the hallway. I thought the wall with the door would be separable from the hallway, but that doesn’t seem to be the case as pieces from behind the hallway link it to the doorframe. Perhaps separate instructions will be included. -

The 2020 AAT is a good source as well The hallway has grown on me. Putting two together has a lot of potential to stage a major scene only using figures from the set. Vader outside the door, four stormtroopers on the first hallway, four rebel troopers and Antilles in the second hallway, and as a bonus you could throw in 3PO and R2 right in the middle running towards the door. -

Illegal, I’m afraid It is a bit small relative to the rest of the ship, but I’m not sure if there is a better-sized cone piece to do the job -

Great catch. Definitely down for a brand new character in Lego form over a variation of Ezra -

My only guess is they wanted a female anniversary character in a male-dominated lineup, but as you said there’s other, more appealing characters like the fourth sister to fill this slot. Padme in one of her countless, fantastic dresses from the prequels would have been ideal to me. -

I think people would go nuts for a Vader figure with the fractured helmet. They were grabbing knives and doing it themselves the moment the finale aired. Young Leia is an absolute meme of a character, literally no one asked for it, it’s boring for kids, it’s boring for adults. -

Three figs total from TPM on the anniversary year, with anniversary branding, is weak. Padme and Panaka are thankfully pretty cheap on the aftermarket, but a fourth TPM figure should be included in a $70 Infiltrator set. Really, this year should have seen a Queen Amidala, or Watto, or Nute Gunray, or Boss Nass, hell not even a Jar Jar? Duel of the fates branding but no set referencing duel of the fates? I’m pleasantly shocked they decided to go with a miniature pod race diorama, but I was so sure they’d do a maul vs obi-wan diorama this year. -

Odd. Didn’t the Panaka and Padme leaks come from FalconFan? Wonder how this got mixed up, if it’s even true, that is. -
