    Terry flings an ice spell at the Big Barbarian rat, back row. Same battle order. "Sounds good to me, Mac. Just, err... take care with which mouth you feed..."

    I bark an order to the dazed Irisa, hoping for an answer. "Irisa! Smash the ball or no?" "Vindsval, unless she tells us why not to smash it, get ready for some glas sshards to go flying..." I glance towards my formerly mutilated hand and grimace, thinking of my other encounter with glass.

    Terry looks in amazement as he shatters the King, but clutches his chest as the poison takes hold. He drinks a potion from the back row, same battle order. "Thanks for the words, Mac, and thanks for the swig, Boris. The rest of you, uh... Keep it up!" Terry quite nearly gets the "enthusiastic party leader" voice right, but a slight voice crack ruins it. "Not even gonna let me have that..." Terry sighs. "Y'know, when my uncle heard people say stuff like that, he'd tell them to "go and sling yer bloody hook". No idea what it means, if I can be frank, but I feel like it's fitting..." "Kheyli, good hits there, by the way. Torald, Ezeran, how are you holding up?"

    You said it in the QM Lounge, if memory serves (which it does for the most trivial things, apparently) - I have no idea, honestly. I think it may be "out of date" for this ballot, though.

    Masson's relationship with Karie is actually a deconstruction of the "obsession" thing - his obsession shifted from his suicidal work ethic to Karie. The weirdest thing is that it worked out, kinda... I remember you saying it was your second favorite, what happened?

    Taking a disucssion back here instead of the Henrys topic, because it was drifting away from the Henrys... Warlen mentioned before 138 that he had slain a good number of dragons, but there was one that got away - and that a dark dragon killed his friend. Guess who. Much like Rhodus in 48, I don't mind heroes incorporating my villains into their backstory - it can result in some good RP. That, and I think there's something darkly comical about Warlen and Quarion trying to ambush Vorpalis when he was vistting his grandchildren and they got their butts handed to them.

    Finally got that ballot in! As for 138 sidequests, if previous quests should have taught you anything, I'm very bad with remembering to post those (that, and it's a massive pain in the ass.) Hopefully soon.

    Terry watches the curse ither away. "Hey, you cure me when I wasn't lookin', Boris?"

    "Ezeran, what d'ya think about my plan to take down the king? He can't hurt us this round, so now's the best time to take him down and out..."

    Terry recoils, flailing his arm frantically to get the biting insect's jaws to loosen. "Gedditoffgedditoffgeddit-! - it's off..." his plight doesn't end there, though, as he is quickly cursed, watching a sickly purple aura wrap itself around his bitten arm. "I-I'll be fine!" he says in a very unconvincing manner, chucking an ice spell at the King. "Listen! Killing the chief halves all the other's health! So, uh, go for him!" Same battle order. Mac repeats.

    Unless you want LDD models (since honestly, I'm looking for ways to bide time til Judgment Day ), I'm afraid I can't be of help. Gonna go do my own builds of a dragon's lifesparn, because why not?

    Yeah, my first thought was "damn, the new heroes are gonna look at this and get scared off..."

    Yeah, I think my comment in that 99 excerpt still speaks for itself. They couldn't be too pitiful, because there were two enemies with 1000+ HP in that battle (XX and that angry black knight fellow.) I know, but still not too bad in the grand scheme. Mirrored Drucilla in 93? That was an enemy to feared. Roll of Damage = quest fails. Instakill in general is pretty scary though, but at least he was a glass cannon - a glass cannon with a most hilarious death.

    Pfft, he had 125 HP. Absolutely nothing when bosses are topping off at 5,000-10,000 HP these days - 2,000 back then.

    I startle slightly as the eye manifests, but quickly regain my composure. Its glare could kill a lesser man. "Irisa here - the one with the red ponytail - was saying that the visions of her crystal ball were being corrupted. I can only assume you are the source? Judging by what you've said, perhaps not delibrately?"
