  1. Today is going to be a busy day for me until about 2 PM, 78ers. I'll confirm and make my purchases then!
  2. ...I did vote, Brittney. This looks more like flailing then anything.
  3. I've decided to return to this post, and there are definitely some things simply off about it. Brittney seems to be advocating not only essentially doing nothing, but also lynching anyway - so, at random, basically. What? You say we shouldn't analyze anything at all yet, that we're likely to mislynch, but then say you want to lynch somebody today. It equates: Do nothing Analyze nothing Lynch anyway The rest is simply fluff and filler To be honest, this post would seem less scummy if Brittney advocated a no lynch, and even then it still would ping my scumdar. Vote: Brittney Alfredo (PirateDave84)
  4. I think a 1/216 chance is plenty fair, considering Rogues can still make a good 100 gold per shield if the enemies have gold on them.
  5. What is your "usual policy" for day one lynching?
  6. I get up, trying to blot out the sound of my own skeleton creaking, and sign my name under Quest 78. I see Karie return - and promptly fall back asleep - and decide talking to her anymore probably wasn't for the best.
  7. My current character only knows other heroes.
  8. Actually, my bad - my original calculation did take into account the 1/5 level hike, and I didn't even realize it! Still, battle inflation will probably push it over 3 years, not to mention any lulls in quests.
  9. For just 30 to 40, it comes out to about 15 months based on the 4 battles = 1.5 months idea.
  10. Thing is - 4 battles is pretty much common for a quest. After you get your expert class you get... 1 level per quest. Here is some math: Let's say that 4 battles is common, and that 4 battle quests are 1.5 months long. 90 battles divided by 4 is 22.5 quests. Multiply 22.5 by 1.5 and you get 33.75 months for 90 battles. 33.75 divided by 12 is 2.8125 years. Now, obviously, that equation is simplified. Three main factors effect it: -Level-up mushrooms would have a big effect. However, I suspect they will become a premium and arguably equally or more valuable then Mythril, and price would shoot up after that. Quests that dole out levels may also become more scarce. -Battles have been inflating recently, and getting longer. (Yes, I realize I am a culprit here. ) This causes the time to spike even more. This is basically upwards of 3 years without any huge progression. Meanwhile, we have just went 2 with fairly good character progression.
  11. Because it provides incentive and something to look forward to when you reach level 40 - because there is a vast, empty space between 30 and 50. (90 battles would take at least 3 years.) Would you be more excited about levelling up if "Oh, I can unlock this Supersword at 35!" Instead of "Oh, I found this Supersword at 35!" It gives you milestones to look forward to.
  12. Hey, what is everyone's thoughts on Level-Locked items? For example, a scythe level-locked at 40 could only be used by heroes level 40 and up.
  13. Yeah, perfect regret would just smash the roof and force the party into the top floor instead, sorry. Speaking of weapons: Level-locked weapons. We need 'em.
  14. Honestly, I'm not a fan of terrain based items at all, but as long as someone doesn't make "WP doubles when the temperature is cold", I'm happy.
  15. I have mastered the secret technique of "Pictures with Mouseover Text!"

  16. Wait, do seas of lava activate the crown? I legitimately have a boss fight planned (Not for Fading Spark) that takes place in one.
  17. My money is on that, too.
  18. Sorry I dozed off there for a second, everyone! All those scientists say that the timezones are caused by the earths orbirotation or whatever... But I know the truth! They were made by aliens! Aliens, I'm telling you! I'd have to agree with this, and not just because you complimented my eyes, either. It may have been a simple slip, but still, I don't think sitting around and talking about their blogs and sweaters is the most productive - and although my superstitions are obviously true, they don't have too much of a place here, either. It's essentially just garbled fluff that has nothing in it to analyze. Like I said, the slip may not be the most concrete of things, but we should at least try to pursue it. Like he-she-it-or-something-inbetween said, we can't just faff about infinitely on day one. At least this is creating some conversation.
  19. Unfortunately, the Krakentecales still seem a bit futile, since Skrall can just one shot the head and take the entire best down with it.
  20. ...Actually, you know what, just Summon Bigger Fish. That'd solve everything! Be glad the Crystal Titan is out of my control.
  21. Quick, add a second phase!
  22. Some enemies in 75 look equally menacing as the Jade Kraken. Awww...
  23. I hear hash tags are bad for your zen. :look
  24. Guys, I just had my palm read on the way here. (I have him on speed dial - that's what all the cool kids do, right?) and he said that having the date be a square number makes you a whole lot more likely to contract athlete's foot. The only way to counteract it is to sacrifice the blood of an evildoer to a mountain goat. Soo... We have the evil doers - just gotta find em - anyone got the mountain goat?
  25. By my math, every hero has to do about 1785.71428571 damage. Have fun, 75ers!
