"Taking him down would definiately cool off the flames signifigantly. - he's the one who somehow found the entry we had concealed. Don't ask me how; Not even our scholars know how he pulled it off."

I'm not going to ask how it works on animals... "Any reason why you chose this path in the first place?"

You can blame Jetorix for you having to come here. Bastard thinks he's a king since he got back form whatever war he fought in the High Kingdoms. real piece of work: slave owenr, racist, prejudice, heavy drinker, brutish, abusive. No wonder he's the one to hate us Proggs - he hates everyone who isn't his own specieis and skin color. He's a good orator, though, and we've had up to 20 humans assaulting us at once. Jetorix and his concubine are our worst threats as it currently stands."

"New... Uhh... Profession... Working out for you?" It was obvious i was not enjoying talking about what Alexis did for a living, and for more reasons then one.

I approach the ogre, having to look up to even see his face. I wasn't surprised this was the hero who beat the Kraken - he probably arm-wrestled it to death. "One Scythe, please." I say, passing the hero 115 gold.
-
"Probably better suited to you then to me." I lift up the bow I traded it for, the weapon augmented beyond recognition - it was no signifigantly more powerful. "So, accomplish much in the fields?"
-
For Encoruaged: I typically add 150-250 (depending on party size/level) HP for every single Encouraged hero across the entire enemy party. Hastened: I let them have their fun, except for some nullifying specials. Lucky: Same as above. For the record, I (and I believe Scuba?) have no problem with specials that remove positive effects, and we're some of the more notorious stackers.
-
I wave down Alexis, motioning for her to come by. Mentally I cringe at the new outfit. "Hello, Alexis!"
-
Having lots of effects id directly linked to actually owning the consumable, however. Besides, Haste and Encouraged isn't too terrible - it is when you factor in Lucky things start getting dicey.
-
What makes this solution inherently better then simply jacking up the prices for consumables or just pulling the Nostrums off the shelves altogether, though, especially if it requires the heavy rebranding/rebalancing of a well established system?
-
Ether is the thing that feuls attacks though, and thus transcended "helps" attacking - wouldn't that put it under Offensive just as much as Nostrum, since Lucky also helps with healing and the like? See, I don't like having to sort things into categories like this. It's not how they were really ever intended to be sorted.
-
Remembering which are seperated into which and then remembering to not allow them to stack (Even though I believe that Meads/Smelling Salts/Nostrums were meant to work in conjunction.) Also, what does Transcended fall into? Or Trial? There are gray areas.
-
Give Docken the Pheles Rod and watch the world crumble on top of itself.
-
Good luck with that. He has 12 SP and WP: 25 Longsword that defies SP, and is immune to Blinded.
-
We're overcomplicating the system. I'm typically regarded as the calculator of the QMs, and even that just looks plain over the top.

Heroica RPG - Expert Job Class Discussion

I have plans. -
That lady on the right is clearly an impostor - where is the white makeup?! Because spiting Heroica's first Paragon NPC is a great idea.
-
Undead biology is tough, okay? I have pretty much gotten soul architecture down pat, however.
-
Princesses too good for him, huh? The great thing about playing an undead character is that you're immune to the lust plague.
-
Not all Paragons have been trained by the Copper Fox, nor is he the first. Masson is starting to seem suspiciously like Batman. Because that is silly. He's getting stronger, not weaker. Plus he has a super awesome katana now that can slash through steel. I'm getting disturbed how many OOC references to how good Masson is outside of battle.

Heroica RPG - Expert Job Class Discussion

On the subject of Veteran classes: They all look wonderful, and the Rogue may be the only thing to shake me from the path of Necromancer. Will additional veteran classes appear in the future, such as the artisan? Perhaps super versions of the non-master classes the current veterans use? Seeing a Primordial Shaman or something along those lines would be very interesting. -

Look, LEGO is expensive, okay? But Masson s most definitely not an illusion, and he does indeed love Karie - though whether or not you'd qualify that as "preying on her mind" is up to you. Fun fact, the Harvester originally had battle mode that looked like this: Then I realized bisecting people wasn't Masson's thing. These buffs are going to make Eternal reaper harder to balance for, however... I'm going to have to do some brainstorming. -
QM Note: Two rules I failed to mention: -Tipsiness stacks. -If you want to drink a beverage that only has 1 sip in it, specify "half mead" instead of just "mead". Round Two of Sarge VS Chryst: >Sarge drinks a Mulled Wine and passes (Tipsy, -2 endurance at round's end) >Chryst drinks a Nostrum and passes (-6 endurance, Tipsiness cleared) Sgt Jon. Mcency (Pyrovisionary) *Tipsy!* Endurance: 31/38 Nostrum: 1/2 sips Mulled Wine: 2/2 sips Mulled Wine: 2/2 sips Mulled Wine: 2/2 sips "Worth it!" Cryst (Endgame) Endurance: 17/25 Mead: 2/2 sips Mead: 2/2 sips Half Mead: 1/2 sips Mulled Wine: 2/2 sips -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Jetorix? He's a real piece of work. Probably came here to pick up rumors about the bastard, huh?" The barkeep's tail swiftly darts from counter to counter, hooking shot glasses on them and placing them in front of the combatants. "Keep it clean. Begin!" Erdathcath Madilinas, 199 years old, Endurance: 33/33 Mead: 2/2 sips Mead: 2/2 sips Nostrum: 2/2 sips Nostrum: 2/2 sips "This'll be good fun!" Ah, no, I was referring to the iron Knuckle.
