That would be really interesting. Other ideas for unusual machines Lego has not yet done: - sugar beet or potato harvester (especially the latter could be so mechanically interesting with folding conveyor belts, rotating brushes, etc.) - feller buncher (nice addition to the skidder from a few years ago) - trencher (functions might be too limited on regular floor so it might not be something Lego would do) - wood chipper (either self propelled or as an attachment for a Unimog or Tractor) - something from Le Tourneau's line-up of very weird prototypes or an Oudin Termit Or they could do something that never got a proper version, like a grader, scraper or a full RC skidsteer loader.

Ahoy Is there a good way to make very small/ compact pulley systems? Having two piece 4211758 next to each other makes it wider than I would like and it also puts the string at awkward angles when the distance between both halves of the pulley system is small (rope mostly pulled in). I can't think of any half stud wide piece that would work.

I really hope the reason there is not a single proper large Technic set this year is because they are saving those up for next year's anniversary... if those last three missing sets don't hide anything construction, agriculture or forestry related, this will be the first year with 0 sets I'm interested in

One question regarding the "no car and trailer"-rule: what about a tractor and a trailer that has a lot of function like a trailed potato harvester (ROPA Keiler, Grimme EVO 290, etc.)? I feel like it would be possible to view it as something you could buy as separate set (in an alternate timeline where Lego has a long running agriculture series with many tractors and attachments at the same scale), but could also be not quite enough to justify that since it absolutely needs a tractor and can't be used on its own.

Generic Contest Discussion

Absolutely. I would consider entering a contest for small models. If it would require me to build it digitally as well I wouldn't bother. -

Very impressive RC conversion. That's a lot of motors for such a small set. I love the little detail of switching on the hub by using the charging port!

What a let down... If the tools on the quick attach are hand operated, they could have at least given it a proper demo shear... since making these RC is challenging, I would have understood going for the simpler hammer attachment, but with it not being powered by a motor there is no excuse. At least the bucket looks good

Looks great, such a clean build! That drivetrain is so well done
