North Lego Star

Lego hasn't released any imformation exactly, but there have been bits of information from various people that all say, yes ther will be an Ewok Villiage this year. Well, since we pretty much know everything about 2013, here are my predictions for 2014... Thanks for the information Sir von Lego! It's a shame this set wasn't based off the "Escape from Kadavo" or "Massacare" episodes of the clone wars, but we'll be seeing a new Cade Bane, Nikto Guard and Rako Hardeen so i' looking foward to seeing the final product, but I doubt I'll end up buying this one. By the way, The UCS X-Wing Starfighter is up on the Lego Shop Page at Lego.com, but more improtantly it has a release date for May 4, 2013 so I think Lego is trying to set up everything for the May Fourth Minifig.

I think eventually when the Marvel and DC contract ends with Lego in 2014 a new one will be written that includeds Lego's right to make some X-Men and Fantastic Four sets.

Well, I think next year is going to be interesting. I have done the math(It's very simple and I making sound complex) and we got 6 DC sets and 6 Marvel sets last year. So far this year, we have 6 DC sets and 5 Marvel sets. Now knowing this information though, I think lego will have a sixith marvel set released at sometime this year, most likely based off of Thor 2. Considering this 6 sets each for DC and Marvel, here's what I think we can expect to see next year... DC sets: 4 Batman Sets 1 Flash Set 1 Green Lantern Set Marvel Sets: 3 Captain America: The Winter Soilder Sets 2 Guardians of the Galaxy Sets 1 Lego Exclusive Ultimate Spider Man Set I really don't know though these ideas are just considering the 6 sets for Marvel and DC a year theory I have created. Hopefully though when the contract between Lego, Marvel and DC a new one will be written that allows lego to make more sets to promote the line.

I personally think the whole thing sounds more like them telling us Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Six will be the last season of the clone wars an will involve all the last episodes leading to episode 3. It is known that these ending episodes will be released, but it is unknown when or even where they will be released. By the way, I really doubt lego would stop selling CW sets from here on out since the CW sets sell pretty well. Well probally see only see only like 3 or 4 CW sets a year starting in 2015, but I think next year will be the year we'll get Episode 3 sets for the winter wave followed by a OT and CW sets in the summer wave.

I agree, we still need to get a new AT-ST Walker, TIE Interceptor, Ewok Battle Pack, Imperial Base, and Imperial Shuttle. As for the Ewok Villiage set here are my predictions... -Ewok Villiage: Logray, Wicket, Teebo, Cheif Chipra, Romba, Ewok Villiage Leia, Endor Luke, Endor Han, C-3P0, Force Ghost Anakin, Force Ghost Obi-Wan, Forces Ghost Yoda, Two large Trees connected by a bridge(trees have things like Huts, Catapults, Imperial Helmet Drums, Fire, and Chair for C-3PO) and one small tree with net to capture Hero's)-249.99$ I don't know though, I guess well just have to wait for lego to announce it offically. @TheBrickDaddy-Lucas Films did not offically say the Star Wars: The Clone Wars was ending completely. They just said no are no longer making episodes. I think that indicates that There will be one more season of the clone wars just to tie up loose ends. It's possible it would air on Disney XD, but I think it's more likely they'll just air the episodes on line. Hopefully the Clone Wars does go on for one more season. I also highly doubt that lego will ever stop producing Clone Wars sets at this point, there's a lot more to make and it's like Episode 4 that came out 36 years ago, yet we always get an X-Wing evry couple of years.

Thanks for the picture of War Machine TimH! I really hope lego is setting the stages for an Iron Patriot Minifig down the line, but then again he could appear in the Avengers 2 so I guess we'll just have to wait, but I think eventually an Iron Patriot will be in a set.

I guess Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher have been signed on to play there roles as Han, Luke and Leia in the Episode VII film. I'm pretty excited personally to see what J.J. Abrams has instore with this new film since he siad it would be completely different form the EU stories, but I personally think it will foccus on Han and Leia children as well as other supproting characters completely new to to the Star Wars universe.

I just got the Kamino Planet Set at my local TRU. I really like this one since it's a pretty nice little model of the Jedi Starfighter and Kamino, but really love the R4-P17 that came with it. Great set next planet set on my purchase list is the Endor one.

I think we'll get more information by April, but I guess we'll just have to see.

@ legofreak86- I like the sound of all your sets, the Stark Tower really interest me though. I had a similar idea for a Wayne Manor awhile back and I certainly do think it'll be one of the sets next year, but since year talking about next year, here are my predictions... This is what I personally think will be the line up for next year... January: -2 Batman Sets -1 Flash and Other DC Super Hero Set -2 Spider Man Sets March: -3 Captain America Sets -1 Lego Marvel Exclusive Set July: -3 Guardians of the Galaxy sets -1 Exclusive Batman Set I personally still think weregoing to see one Thor 2 set this year since he was on the Poster at the SDCC in 2012.

Thanks For the Great Review Captain Nemo! Well for it size and price, this is a really good set. I personally still wixh it could have been a bit bigger and maybe included and Iron Patriot, but it's a nice set with great minifigs(I think the Mandarin would actually look better is he just had a printed beard.)

I thought that the whole second part of the season was really strong since it really wrapped up a lot the characters introduced in the clone wars. As for "The Wrong Jedi" episode, I thought it was pretty good, didn't like how they made Barriss Offee the true plotter( I think it would have benn better to intorduce a new character that was much darker or even use Eeth Koth,) but it was still good and the ending of the episode was visually and emotinally incredible. I hope to see Ahsoka again next season(which I also hope and think will be the last season of the CW,) but I think George Lucas may be setting Ahsoka up for an appearence in the new Star Wars movies since she would be about the same age as Han Solo. I don't know though hopefully we'll see developments in the future of the CW soon and eventually see sets from this season.

And that's the big problem, no one nows at the moment what ships will appear in the new films, so it's hard at this point for lego to make OT vehicals that appear often or have an important role in the movies. Despite this I still believe we'll see a Imperial Fighter of some sort next year, but for OT sets I think we can expect to see some more playset like sets that don't have a strong chance of making it into the new movies. I think the Glow in the Dark Heads are not necessary, but they're nice anyway. By The Way, is there any chance that we'll see more sets this year because I know last year we didn't find out about a couple of sets until about a Month until there release?

Again, Lego tries to make the Lego May the Fourth Be With Minifig one that will never be included in a set and one that doesn't require new molds or extermly new printing. So I highly doubt it will be a Zam Wessel since she'll most likely be in a set again someday. I honestly think the Han Solo minifig is the most likely one at this point since it would probally be the Space Slug Han Solo which would not require a new mold and just printing, but I wouldn't rule out the possiblity of getting something like this since it's just chrome an I don't think the idea of seeing a Jedi like Eeth Koth in non-CW printing would be impossible since it only requires new printing and not a completely new mole. Only time will tell though.

Wow, that's incredible! I love all the detail you have put into the everything, I don't think I've seen that much lego grass anywhere. I would love to see more pictures of the base itself and maybe someday, you could try and turn this into an Endor MOC because I think it would look wonderful. Again though, Great Work

The May the Forth Be With You minifig is ussually either a new print or colorof minifig(Shadow ARF Trooper) or a new minifig that will never appear in any set, but doesn't require a new mold(TC-14.) So I don't doubt the rumors that it's a Han minifig for this year.

Quick Question, will there be another Superhero Exclusive Minifigure offered in May similar to the Hulk last year?

Waste of a May the Fourth Be With You minifig if you ask me, but since I was planning on buying the Z-95 Headhunter and A-Wing for the May the Forth Be With You minifig(really thought it was going to be a Dexter) I may as well just wait and get it then since the minifigs free. I personally think it will mostly likely be a Han with Breathing Mask from the Asteriod Monster scene of the movie or a Han wit very detailed Hoth Gear. I would personally expect to see a Breathing Mask Han since he will most likely never appear in a set.

I think next year will definetly be a CW and OT based year since 2015 will be the release of Episode 7 sets most likely. So I think in the winter wave we can expect to see some a domination of Epiosde 3 based sets, but for the summer wave, A mixture of OT and CW sets large and small. I'm personally really excited to see what comes of the end of the CW series and what lego sets will they be based off and hopefully we'll see two big sets next year, one being Cloud City probally as the main summer wave set and a Toys R Us exclusive Mos Eisley Cantina. I probally come up with my preditions for 2014 soon, but here are my general ideas for the big summer wave sets... -Cloud City(Similar to Jabba's Palace) -Clone Wars Set(A large ship or vechicle that limits minifigures) -Mos Eisley Cantina(Similar to Hoth Echo Base) -Jawa Sandcrawler( Large Lego exclusive set) -Clone Wars Set( Lego Exclusive set similar to the Tantive IV released in 2009) I don't know just some ideas for now, but more to come. Well, I have to admite the MOS sets a like the Iron Man sets pretty disappointing. They don't look awful, but they could certainly have included a lot more. The only one I'll end up buying is the Metropolis Showdown because it's really the ideal Super Hero set. It comes with your two main characters a car and some scenre. Lego could have really acted upon this great combination and incorporated it into evry Super Hero Set this year. Hopefully next year we see some more sets that come with a vehicle some detailed and action-packed scenre and your main characters.

The Best Set of 2012 in my opinion was either the Y-WIng Bomber or Jabba's Place, this year though it's between the Republic Gunship and Duel on Geonosis.
