North Lego Star

Well, I pretty disappointed with the way the TDKR set turned out, I would have rather spent 60$-70$ for a larger, more detailed Tumbler as well as BAT. The Minifigs are still great though, I may end up picking Bane up on Ebay if I get the chance. As for the Spider Man set, it doesn't look bad, but then again I'm not that big into the set as it really doesn't have any of the main villians. Its still nice to see some unique minifigs though. I'm really looking foward to seeing the Two other set soon, will they also be shown at the NYCC this week?

Does anyone else think its more likely that the AT-RT set would include a vixus(for those who don't know, the Vixus as a creature on Umbara that was seen in the first episode of the story arc. It looks very similar to the Sarlac) and instead of yoda, Fives or another clone from the Umbaran Episodes assuming that this set is still from the Umbaran Episodes if it is not, it would more likely be an Kashyyyk set, yet this set still seems to small so maybe if it is a kashyyk set, we could possibly see an Dwarf Spider Droid or some other CIS droid. Also does anyone else think its strange that ther is no other Imperial Set to fight against the A-Wing Starfighter? I'm not really sure, but this maybe a sign that we could expect to see a TIE Interceptor possible to along with a rebel ship of some kind, something like a Rebel Transprot Ship? I really don't know though, I was just trying to break the silence to be honest. Hopefully we'll see pictures soon.

This would be a great set for the near future, I could really see lego making this one really soon due to the fact that its seen pretty commonly in the CW, has a decent amount of features(in one episode I believe Ahsoka pulled out a speeder bike from the back of the ship) and is flown by or seen around some interesting people. Here are some differnt sets it could come in... 1.-Jedi Ambassador shuttle: Anakin, Eeth Koth, Adi Gillia and a Commando Droid-59.99$ 2.-Jedi Ambassador Shuttle: Obi-Wan, Quinlan Vos, Cad Bane, Todo 360-59.99$ 3.-Jedi Ambassador Shuttle: Obi-Wan, Adi Gillia, Savage Opress and Darth Maul-59.99$ I would want number 3 to become a set the most because it would include two new characters and relate to the newest season of the CW the most. Well, I personally agree with you that lego would probally not want to over due the ROTJ sets and in general OT sets for this year as we've seen a decent amount of them since 2011 but, if I think about, its possible that lego may want to try releaseing a large OT set every year now. I know it may sound very strange of lego to do so, but there are still alot of Star Wars sets left to make, the UCS sets haven't done us an justice recently as we have not seen a large set filled with minifigs such as cloud city or the sandcrawler in a very long time and since we now get two big sets every year, it may be a good way to balance out OT sets and PT/CW sets. As for this year, I believe one of the big sets will be an AOTC set for the summer wave but, sadly I highly doubt we'll see much ROTS sets, simply due to the fact that its just to close to the CW at the moment and sets for it have come out more recently than sets for AOTC. As for the other big set, I would sayy it'll probally end up being something like an Ewok village, Mos Eisley Cantina or maybe if lego split it into two sets like Jabba's Palace, a Cloud City set. I really don't know though, these are just guesses based on observations, hopefully we'll find out some more information soon.

Were did you get this information? If it proves to be true, I think it will be a great edition to this year's line up. sadly I think this set is unlikely due to the fact that lego has all ready released an Endor Han and Luke will probally not come back for awhile so you're left with leia and chewbacca, I don't know though anything is possible in the world of lego. I could see a Rebel Transport Ship as a posssible set this year though.

Well, I haven"t posted here in a while so here are my purchases since my last post here... Desert Skiff Jabba's Palace Another Mandalorina Battle Pack for like 25% off I plan to buy the Gungan Sub when I can find it at a cheaper price(hopefully around December) and then in 2013 I'll buy the BARC speeder first and then around may, I plan on buying the A-wing and Rancor Pit so I can pick up the 2013 May the Fourth Be With You Minifigure( Hopefully Its Dexter since were getting Pong Krell.)

Well, I know this may sound strange, but I would like to see card board slabs with prinitings on them that match the setting of the set itself to be included in lego star wars sets. For example... -AT-ST Walker: Chewbacca, Romba and an AT-ST Driver with an endor ground print slab -Luke's Landspeeder: Luke, Obi-wan, Tusken Raiderx2 with an sandy Tatooine ground print slab -Hailfire Droid: Super Battle Droidx2, Clone Sergant and Shaak Ti and an Geonosis ground print slab -Naboo Flash Speeder: Naboo Guardx2, Captain Panaka with an Theed ground print slab -Courporate Alliance Tank Droid: Battle Droidx2, 212th Clone Trooperx2 with an Kashyyyk ground print slab -Training on Dagobah: Luke, Vader, Yoda, R2-D2, Yoda's Hut/Tree with a Dagobah looking ground print slab -Umbaran Tank: Umbaran Soilderx2, Tup with an Umbara ground print slab I really doubt this will every happen but, I still think it would be a cool idea for lego to do include these slabs in some sets. I'm not sure who saw the 8 winter sets anymore but, I was wondering if you could answer two questions for me... -Did the BARC Speeder set come with another vechical, a Sniper Droideka or something else because its seems like it is to small to be an 30$ set if it just includeds an BARC Speeder . -Secondly, do you recall seeing a Kashyyyk looking backround behind the AT-RT set or an Umbranan looking one? Please answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay thanks, I just remebered a picture of the 3 choices the other day while thinking about what possible large sets we could see next year and was just simply wondering if anyone else had an idea of what I was thinking about.

I was wondering if anyone else remebered that 2010 fan's choice add which had the Republic Frigate, Clone Turbo Tank and Rebel Transport Ship as the three choices. Was this fake or was this a real thing? If it is really real, we got the Turbo Tank in 2010( I guess it would be the fan's choice winner) and then in 2011 we got the Republic Frigate so I'm wondering if this year its possible to see the Rebel Transport Ship.

Well I guess well just have to wait until we see pictures.

Well, I personally believe we'll see a TIE Interceptor as an exclusive set and maybe a an Episode Two set, if the BARC speeder set and the Umbaran MHC are not the two exclusive sets.

Are you Sure, I'm positive that lego only makes 6 regular sets every wave, I'm not saying that this is impossible but rather unlikely that these sets are regular wave sets. I think the BARC Speeder set will be a Toys R Us Limited Edition set and the Umbaran MHC(if proven true) will be a Target limited edtion set or, is it possible that these two sets are from the summer wave?

Well, this is some interesting news, but I have my questions about the reality of these sets. The A-wing, Z-95 Headhunter, The BARC speeder set and two Battle Packs I believe are for sure sets, but I have to admite I'm starting to raise questions on the reality of the other set... -AT-RT set- I do believe were getting one and that it will include Yoda, but I don't see lego just putting all of these characters that don't belong togther all in one set. I would also think that lego would avoid putting another 501st Trooper in this set if were getting one in the Headhunter. I really hope this truns into a Kashyyyk set rather than an Umbran Set. -Umbran MHC- Well, I am most suprised by this set, it seems like a possible set but, I would think it would be at a higher price, for its large size. I know, it may sould strange of me but, I think it would be a much better set if it were a Toys R Us limited Edition set for the Summer Wave(more minifigs aswell as a bigger set). I also don't see why Ahsoka is in this set, she was never even included in those Episodes. I would think lego would save her for the summer wave also and put her in her new Jedi Interceptor. I don't even know if I would consider buying this set if it came out like this. -Hoth Planet Set- I really did see this one coming out for the next wave, but I don't see why were getting a snowspeeder with a "Snowspeeder Pilot," there's no such thing as a snow speeder pilot its just a regular Rebel Pilot which we already got with the Yavin 4 planet set! I really doubt the reality of this one. -Endor Planet Set- There's just no way this one is true, we've already have gotten an Endor planet set( Lego does list it as Endor on there website as Endor), It is possible though that this planet was mistaken for Endor but is really, the planet Sullust then, I could believe 100% in this set. -Alderaan Planet Set- I could see this as a set but, I would think lego would want to base this one of the Scene in Episode 3 were Bail Organa returns to Alderaan, and put him in this set and make the Tantive IV blue since ROTS is coming to the movies in 2013 aswell. My thoughts may just be based on the fact that we haven't seen pictures of these sets yet, but I just have my doubts that a couple of these will be different from what we were expecting. I really just think we need to see pictures to clear up everything.

Well, since we recently found out what Series 3 of the Planet Sets will be, I though it would be nice to add my thoughts on them aswell as predict Series 4 of the Planet Sets(I really should post here more) I have to admit, I found Series 3 pretty disappointing... -Coruscant Set: I think lego could have done something else, its not like I hate this set now, nice to get a Episode 2 CLone Pilot finally(I think thats who were getting) but, I would have rather see, an CIS Banking Clan Frigate with a Palpatine or something ahving to do more with Coruscant. -Kamino Set: Really am happy about this one. I pretty happy well be getting an R4-P17 after all these years, this also has a down side to it though which is, this means we'll most likely get Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter this year but, this also indicates that we have like a 90% chance of getting a Slave 1 with Jango, Boba, Obi-Wan and hopefully Lama Su. This one is a purchase for sure. -Asteriod Feild set: I like the idea of an asteriod but, I think that lego needs to stop with all the TIE pilots, I would have gotten this set if I came with a Falcon and a Leia with gas mask face printing instead of the TIE Bomber and TIE bomber pilot. I personally think he looks great and more movie accurate, if they did redesign him, I'm afraid he'll look like the CW model Anakin and Obi-wan . Hopefully he won't, I think this set would be even stranger if it did include a new yoda.

Although this would be a rather cool set, I don't see it happening, it justs to much for lego, I'm still suprised that Yoda will becoming with an AT-RT set this year, but sadly I don't think well be getting a set thats less than 40$ with Yoda ever again.

Well, here are my thoughts on the 2013 winter sets as of today... -Clone Trooper vs. Sniper Droid Battle Pack: I can't believe were not getting Destroyer Droids anymore instead were getting these Sniper Droids, I think a Droideka Battle Pack would have been much better(Droidekas are more known throughout Star Wars and I think are alot better looking than a Sniper Droid.) Despite this, I'm still going to end up buying at least two of these Battle Packs mainly for the Phase II Clone Trooper. -Old Republic Battle Pack: I'm really unsure about this set, I like the way the Old Republic Troopers look but, I don't plan on ever buying an 2012 Old Republic set(if you buy one, you forced to buy the other I think) so I guess I'll wait to see pictures before I make my final judgements on this set. -A-wing Starfighter: I'm really looking foward to this one, I have yet to own an A-wing so it will be nice to get that comes with an A-wing Pilot(hopefully he'll be new), an Endor Han and a Ackbar, who I have yet to own. I hope we see a TIE Interceptor as an Limited Edtion set this wave to fight the A-wing. -AT-RT set: Still have no clue what lego was thinking when the thought up this set, but I sounding like its coming along slowly. I hope we see a Blue ARF Trooper in this set aswell as an Umbran Tactical Droid(Exactly like the Hasbro AT-RT Pack.) I really coubt we'll see yoda in this set though as he had nothing to do with Umbaran Battle. I think we'll its more likly to see a Umbaran Soilder or a 501st Clone Trooper in this set. I'm really looking foward to seeing some pictures of this set. -Republic Z-95 Headhunter: Well, I think this will be a great set that will sell very quickly in the stores. Pong Krell really makes this set a easy purchase for many people aswell as the fact that there a 99% chance of getting a Phase II clone Pilot aswell as the possiblity of getting a Phase II Rex and a Phase II Fives. Great set, can't wait to see final images. Does anyone have any clue when the pictures are usually leaked, I can't wait much longer or else I'm going to exploded!

Sadly no, not a likely set, but I could really see lego coming out with Dexter as the May the Fourth Be With You Limited Edition Minifig this year. Oh, by the way Hulk_Smash thank you so much for the great information you have provided all of us, I hope I don't bug you anymore after these few last questions... Do you recall seeing any signs of yoda having a different chest printing, one more likely the PT version rather than the CW version? Has your local store manager informed you when pictures will be released? Do you rrecall any of the clones from the Umbaran sets having names?(names such as:Rex, Fives, Dogma Jesse, Hardcase or Kix) And Finally, did the AT-RT set show any signs of coming with the Umbaran creature Vixus, I could see this making more of this set if it included one of these.
