You can blame sloppy photography for that 😂 Thanks, gang! I wanted to do a ninja entry for the Monumoto task way back but missed the chance. A bunch of inanimate objects and the like. This scratched the itch!- 11 replies

The Gran Military Encyclopedia of Oleon
Jeff of Clubs replied to Keymonus's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Unit Name: Corps de Transmissions Unit Type: Support and Logistics Fig.1: Enlisted men and an officer, second from left. The lettered men of the Oleonese signal corps must all pass vigorous literacy and mathematic exams in order to join. Uniform: As they draw from the same depots as the infantry, the only defining characteristics of the Corps' uniform are the yellow epaulettes and bicorne, harkening back to the early nature of its founding. Recruitment Centers: Members of the signal corps are very numerous but spread hither and yonder. The largest concentration of signalmen is one of their academies in Breshawn, Nola Mar, and Gran Oleon herself. Fig.2: Troops of the Corps de Transmissions man a semaphore telegraph station. Equipment: Their weapons are the ink and the pen. They are charged with communications across the Empire and all its various Service Branches. The King's Own Grapevine -
Working closely with the army's pioneers and surveyors, members of 3.Division's signals staff have erected a series of semaphore telegraph stations along their route to Seawatch. Placed at regular intervals, the stations, such as this one on the promontory southwest of Seawatch, carry the will of Good King Phillip to all his servants in the Oleonda Division. Another was errected in the city itself by the liason party under Chef de Battalion Glenson. Using various cyphers developed by the Army Signal Corps and Royal Intelligence, coded messages are now reaching 3.div and the coalition in a matter of minutes. For security purposes, the decoding methods are only retained where necessary. With Glenson in Seawatch, with the signals 'trunk' station in Ft. Arltrees, and tightly guarded by marines and RI agents in the field, with the staff of General du Brigade Francois. ... This is meant to add some redundancy to 3.Division's lines of communication and near real-time coordination options with the Coalition. I don't know that this is big enough to really license but if anyone would like to build some of her sister stations, go nuts. I will probably try to build another base reflecting Seawatch and set it up again. Apologies for the utilitarian nature of my photography. Plans are made. Thanks! ♧

@Bricksbypidy, correct! BoBS is a role playing game first and formost. The court are the DMs and the other members of your faction are you 'party'. It should be noted that your character doesnt need to be present in all builds either. For example, I've been making mocs for the Seawatch Campaign, showing random NPC troops doing things, even though my main character is on another island entirely. Yes you can make additional characters but they will all fall under the umbrella of you Sigfig and account for mechanics purposes.

The Seawatch Campaign - Coordination Thread
Jeff of Clubs replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
In an effort to ease mistrust and maneuvers and to properly exercise the war against the Lotus Empire, his most Impeccable Majesty, King Philip has authorized the commander of 3.Division de la Armee "Oleonda", one General du Brigade Hercule Francois, the Vicomte Guemain, to forward his most Dapper Majesty's own 'Articles of Coalition'. -Gasps for Air- Section I: Article I: No member nation may initiate or accept independent peace terms with the Lotus Empire. Article II: A commitment of mutual defense of all member nations by all member nations against the Lotus Empire. For example, please note the proximity of the Lotus mainland to all of our colonial capitols. Article III: A commitment by all member nations to maintain at least two hundred (200) soldiers on the island of Oleonda until the cessation of hostilities with the Lotus Empire. Article IV: Under NO circumstances, may the bilious Wayfarer Trading Company (WTC) be permitted an Independent Command within sight of any soldier, HORSE, cannon, wagon, rubbish heap or even errant cutlery owned by his most Transcendent Majesty, King Phillip or his most loyal servants. Section II: It is also his majesty's prerogative to inquire as to the willingness of this 1st Coalition's member nations to issue Letters of Marque to almost any vessel and crew who would do harm unto our enemy. Section III: What attends the aforementioned is detailed plan authored by one, Colonel Beauchamp and delivered by an authorized agent in the form of one, Chef de Bataillon Valentin de Glenson, Chief Liaison of 3.Division de la Army "Oleonda". All coalition members are asked to give this plan their earnest attention. ... 'La Manoeuver sur les Derrieres' I would favor a plan where the column, complete with the flankers and scouts already MOC'd deliberately advances to Seawatch while, with coordination, the forces in Seawatch step up activity to "fix" the Lotii in place while being prepared to sally forth when they see our forces take the field. Fortified Seawatch with it's now huge garrison sallies forth, engaging the Lotii and providing the anvil. From the flank and rear, our column approaches as the hammer. Phase 1: Ongoing Red and Green increase patrols to find and fix Lotii forces near Seawatch Red and Green prepare for major combat Blue approach march to Seawatch expecting contact forward. Phase 2: When Blue forces arrive near Seawatch Red and Green sally from Seawatch to fix and hold Lotii in place. Blue assaults Lotii flank/rear. Oblique attack, roll the line up from whatever flank is closer to Seawatch, therefore by attacking we are actually effecting the link up. Phase 3: LInk up complete, press assault Red, Green, Blue continue attack from front and flank. R/G/B commit reserves (for what it is worth, I'd love to see COL Beauchamp and the 1st Grenadiers in the thickest of the fight, as the reserve delivering the final blow or main effort making the first assault. Phase 4. Exploit R/G/B exploit with cavalry running down broken Lotii units to kill and capture routed troops in a pursuit. A diversionary raid from Jiangkai will also be effected by La Grand Armee; Commander: Captain Guillaume Tiger Dupont Forces involved: a company of light infantry (1 platoon of colonial chasseurs, 2 platoons of Jiangkai tirailleurs), plus some native guides. Aims: harass enemy forces, sack and destroy the supplies, delay or impair the arrival of reinforcements to the frontline, divert enemy troops to irrelevant areas. Credits to @CapOnBOBS and @Keymonus for their vigorous planning! @Ayrlego, @Capt Wolf! Let the yelling commence! -
Fantastic! Yeah the roof and that waterfall canopy are really great ideas! @Bricksbypidy, do not despair, you can always retroactively license any legal property moc you've made earlier!
