LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

DS looks kinda cool. But even besides the price I don't really have much desire to have it in my house. Really i just like the hangar section. At the very least someone's gonna make an interesting speed build video -

Well I bought the turbo tank so I could make a funny youtube video making fun of the structural issues and modding it to be structurally sound and compatible with my dropship, but honestly? this thing just sucks. The build was meh at best and I can't think of a single thing that is even on par with the 2010 version which I have next to it. There is only one reason to even consider buying this and that is as a $160 battle pack Anyway, it came with an extra sticker sheet so that's cool I guess -
Everything from the cannon ports up looks fantastic! But I am a little less impressed by the hull shaping, it just looks too flat for my eyes. It does look like the build switches to upside down construction at the waterline and I can see a gap there in the bow, so I do think there is a very strong chance the underwater part is removable. Or at least very easily moddable

I am actually ok with a half sphere if done properly, if I recall correctly the actual DSII filming model was only complete around 60% of the way around. I have the GWP DSII and it really only has one interesting side, so no loss there. And everyone saying that it will be impossible structurally, there isn't really a reason the stand HAS to be exactly on the south pole, stability is still possible BUT 27 cm wide? For a 70 cm sphere? Less than half? I'm not sure how this can possibly look good, but we'll see I guess The quality of the build is much more of a deal breaker for me than any of the minifig details -

Has the Amazon $195 for the combo MTT and battle pack set been confirmed? If so, the discount from getting them together is the same as the VIP points you get from buying each separately direct from Lego... plus if you get a GWP you get would almost definitely beat out the poly bag Millenium Falcon -

Don't get your hopes up too high, the side wings look like they're just on Bionicle joints -

I think pauldrons could work better as plastic parts as they are pretty rigid in universe, but definitely agree for stuff like capes and kamas that are meant to be flexible. The current cloth pauldrons just don't look very good, Rex's is way too big and not really the right shape, and Fives' is still flat after months of the bracket method. From the one pic we have, count me as a fan of the plastic pauldron -

Maybe a hot take, but I'd rather they just have the backpack. I didn't notice they had pauldrons until you pointed it out, they are much smaller than almost any other pauldrons. This would mean they would either be way too oversized or a single use mold. It also looks like the new pauldron mold works on either shoulder, so I'm guessing Bacara will use it and we may get some of the 327th with a right shoulder pauldron as well. Unlike the Night Trooper BP, this would actually work with the two of each thing as it appears to be about a 50/50 split in the movie -
Fair criticism, I try to keep it as unobtrusive as possible when I do have instructions available. I get a lot of comments asking for instructions otherwise.

I feel like he overexaggerated it in his review, if an earthquake is powerful enough to knock it over you have MUCH bigger problems. Yes, it could have used more support on the rear, but it shouldn't be a deal breaker. The stand I built for Obi Wan's Delta 7 is much less stable, and still I'm not too worried about it. Without the Kamino GWP you might want to wait to see if the system scale one is any good first, but this is gotta be one of if not the best UCS sets ever made -

Just finished Jango's Slave 1 and wow, this build is great. I didn't hate the stickers as much as I thought I would since they were spread out pretty well across the build and I'm not one of the people who obsesses over minifigs so no complaints there either. The way the shaping effortlessly falls into place for the base without sacrificing strength is nothing short of incredible. I know a lot of people have already written off this whole year, but IMO this one set makes up for all of it (of course only if you want to spend $300 on Legos) The door and ramp mechanism looks suspiciously similar to the one I put on a MOC I posted a couple years ago though.... -
Hopefully this isn't an Andor spoiler since the ship features pretty heavily in the trailers Two minifigs can fit inside, and I put spring loaded shooters under the wings to make it match my official Lego TIEs a little better (plus they're fun, idc) Let me know what you think!

The AT-RT build is actually one of my favorites that Lego has done, just the CAT branding is a bit much and it's $40 Microfighter is one of the greats, mech is meh, and the LAAT/LE doesn't look at all like a LAAT/LE -

At least the current jetpack mold is correct for his Geonosis look, but for Kamino and Boba a new one would be nice -

Waiter! Waiter! More B1s please! I have no less than 48 plain B1 battle droids and I still might buy out whatever Bricklink store I'm buying from if they're below $2 -

If it is tariff pricing, why is it 270 Euros? $270 sure, but from what I understand, nothing gets shipped from the US to Europe. On top of that, it is 35% higher than the "expected" price of $200, much higher than the tariffs -

For minifig molds? I assume K2-S0 is also resurrected Other molds, the Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 3 - Axle Hole from the ARC-170 and Ahsoka's Interceptor cockpit piece are both unique as far as I can tell, but will probably be reused fairly quickly. -

If we're counting 3342 as a "retail set", we also have to count the UCS Death Star, from what I can tell, 3342 was a limited release only available direct from Lego
