LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion

So.... Brick Boy and Brick Girl? Are they in-system? Compatible with other 2x4 bricks? Going to be impossible to "feel" 'em out. -

It's the wrong colors, but the design is similar. Love the N-Pop Girl's hair and shirt. Is Ugly Christmas Sweater Zane's hair a different color than in the set? The picture of him from the Temple set, his hair looks pretty defiantly Tan, but the CMF looks White? Is AC/DC Cole's hair the same as the Temple set? Dunno. -

If the pink-and-blue haired girl isn't an important character, I'm totally re-purposing that hair. -

Jay's bamboo shoot is breaking. It's really weird to me that his agreement line from the trailer and overall worried design make him basically Lofty from Bob the Builder. -

Mostly it's because all the other shots I saw were from straight-on at the front, making it appear he had a cylinder of hair that was the same width as his head. The slight outward slope at the front and the printed fade makes a lot more sense to me than just a less-detailed flattop haircut. -

Oh snap, Zane gots a fade. This is 100x better looking than all the other shots I've seen of his hair so far. -

Also burgers? And I'm originally from rural Texas, so I'm hearing the possibility of a Minifig in an "AR-15 being fired drunkenly straight into the air while the guy holding it screams 'WOOO'" costume, but I doubt that's it. -

I'm pretty sure that if they had gone with a pre-existing villain faction, a lot of fans would be howling about how they "misrepresented" or "didn't do justice to" that group. Like if all the skeletons were just disposible background whatsits, some people would be like "That movie sucked, Krazy didn't even get any lines and was totally stealing a hotdog cart which let me tell you makes NO sense because..." With new guys, you don't care how they behave. -

Thought that was kinda the point in both The LEGO Movie and in The Ninjago Movie. The villains all get dark or neutral boring colors, and the heroes all get exciting and bright colors. Something something the psychology of character design... You get my drift. -

Kind of recall this being a Loony Toons gag back in the day, and definitely remember it being a thing in Who Framed Roger Rabbit!?, but I dunno why the Elf Maiden gets paired with it.- 1,421 replies

If my trailer-fu is as good as it used to be, I'd guess that the raid seen in the trailer is closing of first act or beginning of second.
