  1. Are those pickaxes the Medusa-haired characters are holding?
  2. They licence NInjago Movie stuff from Warner Bros. Animation, I think.
  3. I just made 'em the same team. Threw Axel in a PM uniform, put Doc (not Docs) in a spare Sparks jumpsuit, yadda yadda.
  4. I know I picked up 3 sets (including the largest, the base) on half-off clearance. But that might just be anecdotal support for that theory.
  5. Had this issue with the baby that comes with the Teen Mom Babysitter, but not with the Hiker's compass.
  6. This reminds me that I was vaguely hoping that the Prince of Persia theme would somehow reintroduce the twice-used Elephant.
  7. I think the Umbrage hair is replaced by the Gramma/Movie Star hair introduced in the CMF stuff. Agree about the long legs/arms. Those even would have been good for Space Police/Galaxy Squad aliens, I think. There's a shortened version of the canopy commonly used for Slave-1 sets, that as far as I know is only in the (rare) Ultra Agents boat set that I am surprised hasn't popped up anywhere else.
  8. Dog Show Guy's hair reminds me of the actress who plays Captain Phasma for some reason, I dunno.
  9. Passed up a Misfortune's Keep for $20 off at the beginning of the week and now it's back up to full price and I'm kind of kicking myself.
  10. Picked up the last 4 I was after out of this wave at a WalMart today.
  11. That would be two series later, reusing the same parts in different colors.(I would buy 4)
  12. Re-reading threads from years ago. Not a lot's changed.

  13. Couple of quick questions:1) Are you opposed to using additional parts? 2) Are you opposed to rotating the display base 90 degrees (so that the shorter sides are front/back)?
  14. Oh. Yeah, pretty sure X-Cave's TRU. Saw one yesterday, if I recall correctly.
  15. Realistically? It's probably just me being a teensy bit of a misogynist by adding -Ette to the end to denote female gender. But actually I was thinking of Clawdette/Caudette from the original Agents line when I typed that.
  16. Was at the Legoland Discovery Center in Boston during my vacation, but didn't get to check for these due to circumstances. However, randomly stopped in a local TRU for some unrelated shopping with my son, and got a Spy, Hiker, and Cyborg(ette).
  17. Probably September, when they were supposed to come out.
  18. Ogel was the great grandson of Vladek from Knights Kingdom, and he just wanted to mind-control everyone. Antimatter was a rogue former Ultra Agent who turned people into super-powered villainous opposites of their normal selves? And as far as I can tell, Dr. Inferno was pretty much Cobra Commander without a mask. So, Dr. Inferno wins there, in my opinion.
  19. Right, I forgot how much I like to post this picture whenever someone mentions that. Also, hey, someone pointed out that the CMF Series 17 spy is basically Dash from Alpha Team with updated print/accessories.
  20. I love the Agents theme so much (My av is a gigantor extension of Dr. Inferno's volcano lair!). I loved Alpha Team (Well, the first and second wave. Didn't care for Alpha Team on Ice). I'm pretty sweet on Ultra Agents, too. But I'm also excited to see what new secret agent/commando team themes LEGO develops in the future. While I would enjoy the further adventures of Chase and Co, I'm not holding my breath. But that's okay! I have something like 120 Agents? So they can all do battle against Ogel, Dr. Inferno, and Anti-Matter while we're waiting to see what the next group turns out to be.
  21. I used the old raised baseplate from the Rock Raiders HQ. It works pretty well if you: A) Already have one or don't mind shelling out for one on the secondary market, and B) Don't mind using old greys.
