Did I read right that you haven't seen the movie? Because you seem confused as to the nature of the conflict in the plot. They got a pretty cool antagonist faction, I thought. The real one, anyway.

Y'know, hours after I posted that thing about the Mythos being too mature for LEGO, the ST leak happened, and I guess I've got to retract my statement about maturity restrictions. Still, Octopus Guy. Not Octopus Costume Guy, or Coothooloo. Maybe something that calls back to the Atlantis theme like that Dino Hunter lady or the Blacktron cyborg.

Octopus people are fine. But the actual Mythos is waaaay too mature for LEGO themes. And I say this as a big fan of Lovecraft's work. You could maybe do a Mythos-lite type thing, but delving deep into the heady notion that mankind is but a fleeting blip in the churning chaos of eldritch space-beings so terrible and monstrous that even looking upon them can destroy a man's mind and leave him wasting to death in a hospital bed as he gibbers unintelligibly is... a little outside Play Well. Plus, some people still get really bent out of shape over all of Lovecraft's overt racism, so LEGO would probably not want to associate with that.

I am speculating. Also, I forgot the gravity of the term 'Realm' in the Ninjago universe, and just meant it as in 'Region'. Ice region, fire region. I dunno if it's going to be Tundra Fields or Ice Caves, or if it will be Deserts or Volcanoes.

I guess that 'Civilian Nya' in the Fortress is a different character with (hopefully) placeholder hair, since Nya's in the Bountry as well, and I'm not seeing any other instances of characters crossing from Fire Realm to Ice Realm (except the Kai vs. The Samurai spinner 2-Pack).

That little helicopter is neat looking. Cole's new bike is weird. Kai's stumpy off-roader has my attention, but I'm not sure why. That giant snake looks cool. Not a fan of the Bounty or the castle. Can't tell what's going on in the Kitsune set. But, man, that mech...

Yeah, I am also confused as to why Jay gets 2 Super-Saiyan suits.

His leg print is different than every other leaked Ice Zombie Samurai so far.

Are these leaked white costumes legit? Not really a fan.

There's a bunch of Ninjago boxes on a wall in the background of one of the Hidden Side shots (the train, specifically) but they are all the Legacy wave sets.

Built half of the first wave and the Systar Ship is still may favorite so far because of the way it handles 'round'.

Wonder if we'll get a 3rd wave like the first movie?

Brickset added a bunch of set numbers/names to their database, and two that stood out to me were: 70838: Queen Watevra's 'So-Not-Evil' Space 70837: Shimmer & Shine Sparkle Spa! then it goes to 70847-70849 as just being sets for that with no names. And then the next entry is 60227: Moon Base, which doesn't seem to be a TLM2 set, and that's a shame.

That's when the reveal for the Rexcelcior says it comes out, too.

Oh, man, there's that musical instrument Metalbeard I was hoping for! Maybe he will be a set.

Well, I think that ship's pretty great. I'll pick one up for sure, and I'm also excited to see what new pieces in Dark Blue are made available because of it.

Halfway through building 'Burg, and I think I need a nap.

I did the opposite, and built the Rocket, but not the house. The Rocket is a surprisingly complex build (especially the front window) packed with unexpected detail and a small amount of attic storage.
