  1. Beautiful tram The macaroni bricks create a big blind spot but stability and gaplessness are qualities in their own right The curved window pieces come to my mind but they lack the hight.
  2. I only have two battle droids and i hope they never break
  3. Thank you very much! Thanks a lot! The droid legs are attached to a plate modified and tilted backwards. The gap in front of the legs was just big enough to toss a loose trans-green tile in to fill it. I extends a little bit over the surface level but from an angle it is hard to see.
  4. That's a fun one! I bet the droid will also make good use of the new banana peal piece I really like the greebling around the base.
  5. Spartans, Knights, Goat herders, Bat Lords, Orcs, Falconers - if only we knew beforehand which minifigures will see a hugh demand. Oh wait.... With so many AFOLs interested in (armybuild) minifigures nowadays, i feel we are at a point where the whole CMF 'system' is screwed. Regular battlepacks would be the way to go imo.
  6. flickr and bricksafe are two sites that are used to share mocs.
  7. Wow, what a story! And i really love the charm of your builds! I like all the droid parts that are scattered across the barren landscape. And then there's the wind generator and makeshift king of the mountain! The scene of the X-Wing approaching the microscale build of the mountain is a nice addition
  8. Everyone new that this would happen (ripped open boxes). Well, Lego obviously did not knew
  9. I wonder why they chose the Endurance. I don't think it's a well known ship. But which sailing ships are well known all around the world? Santa Maria, Golden Hind, Constitution, Mayflower, Victory, Vasa? maybe Kruzenshtern?
  10. *Your entry has earned 21 XP (S:7, T:8, A:7) doubled makes a total of 42 XP Episode 5: Droid Rebellion - Walking the plank Somwhere on the planet of Daimla, Outer Rim, in the very last corner of the galaxy. The droids of an old mining facility have gone rogue! First they stopped working for 3 standard days. It seemed that they received large code fragments from the HoloNet and processing these fragments took them days. They just stopped moving and remained immobile where ever they were standing. They resumed work thereafter but more and more failures occured in their routines and strange accidents started to happen everywhere in the large industrial complex. Doors got locked, and soon all humanoid workes were denied access to the facility. Pumping stations stopped working, cables snapped and pipelines got destroyed. Large puddels of acid formed and hazardous fumes wafted through the air. Fires started to roam! Droid gangs started to terrorize their droid coworkers that were unaffected by the HoloNet transmissions. Some were tortured, arms and legs got ripped off and some had to walk the plank right into the acid.... [The Aurebesh sign reads 'droi' because i had not enough parts to build the last 'd' Have to order some more trans light blue plates.]
  11. Very impressive collection of buildings! I love your moc of the Esterházy Palace, but even more so the yellow palace I also like the fright tram very much. And welcome to the forum @agkoo
  12. That picture made me curious. Just looked the lightsaber blade up at PAB online. Anyone has an idea why the piece exists as standard AND bestseller at the same time?
  13. We have a website like this too. It's actually a very big site. But the prices for used Lego are insane. And since i am more a moccer than a collector i would quickly dismantle sets after building and use the parts for mocs. And then it's just too expensive
  14. Three cheers to Belgium And welcome to the forum @Guix When 6235 was your first Lego Pirates set, we probably are around the same age. All my childhood Lego is lost though. More than the sets i miss some of the parts we had back then. Like the palm tree trunk parts and the doors.
  15. Good find A beautiful ship The builder is active in this forum but i just can't remember the user name.
  16. Hehe yes, i looked that up before i posted I am sure there are many more "suspicious" numbers
  17. Yeah, i saw that too! But it's only featured in the opening picture, so i think it has nothing to do with the Lego set and is just there for visualization. Ship looks great though What do you think? And welcome to the forum @Guix
  18. So he risks damaging his reputation with these conspiracy theories, joke or not, in an attempt to test the algorithm because he thinks his business should be more visible on youtube. Very strange.
  19. I accidentally posted a picture as attachment instead of posting the link. Can you please delete the attachment @forum staff (Not the first time i make this mistake. Had to delete complete threads i set up / opening posts to get rid of those accidental attachments in the past.)
  20. This youtuber is definitely on to something and the topic is worth further investigation. For example there is set no 666. Clearly this indicates that the company is driven by the devil. With the thousands of Lego set numbers, numbers of pieces in all these sets and inventory numbers for every single part i am sure this must be one big numerophil attempt to indoctrinate children.
  21. I read this argument so often but i do not understand it. The parts from named characters can be used to build other generic minifigs and create new characters. Especially in themes like castle or pirates, LOTR or POTC, where you want knights, soldiers, pirates, orcs, etc. to look slightly different. EDIT: Is this appealing to anyone? (Oh damn, now i accidentally uploaded the picture as attachment and can't delete it.)
  22. Here are some of the Lego YT channels i like to watch @Space Coyote TheBrickinPanda - beautiful mediterranean city layout MrBookieboo - city layout HollyOnFilm - mostly Lego Star Wars, Harry Potter and Disney Hypolite Bricks - mostly high level Lego Star Wars mocs Canosie Labs - insanely detailed digital city layout (only 4 videos so far though) Nicki Bricks - Lego Star Wars and Star Wars / Disney fandom Brick World - very detailed city layout and trains (only German language though)
  23. Yes, that's the one. Thanks!
