  1. Yeah, the purple layer makes it even more interesting for the eye. I like the whole scene and the contrast between the spaceship and the cowboy and his cattle. To me the ship has some Star Trek aesthetics and i love it
  2. What a lovely scene this is! With the light and water lilies it looks so calm and peaceful. Great details everywhere and the trans clear water works well
  3. I was looking for a suitable planet my faction has access to, using the galaxy map and wookieepedia. Maybe i have overlooked something but i found only one, Ajan Kloss. But i don't have the parts to build on a forest moon, so i thought i build on Tatooine or an other desert planet for 0 XP. Since Nar Kreeta is also a arid planet with mountains, canyons and deserts, i will stick to this planet and continue with my story. I want to lay emphasis on the editing anyway, since i already have some ideas. Although i am not sure if i i am good enough to do it in Photoshop.
  4. Lovely way to display your minifigs! It's hard to pick a favorite. I guess i like the beast riders and warriors the most. The sheep also And of course the king in the last scene looks very impressive. Well done!
  5. Actually that torso comes from a set, 75292 The Razor Crest and now it is also available at Build a Minifigure in Lego shops.
  6. Great story and very kind of both of the gentlemen to pass on their collections to you. So your collection is already bigger than (one) life Welcome to the Forum Elsa. Have fun!
  7. Then i will be save since i am waiting for jugdement for the other moc for 3 months now I now know what i want to build for the contest. It is always hard to find a suitable planet, so i will stick to Nar Kreeta. Btw, is it generally possible to build on a planet my faction has no access to for 0 XP?
  8. Haha, that's nice! I always want Lego for birthday and Christmas too Welcome to the forum. Have fun!
  9. Lagoon Lockup I remember the sets you mentioned very well. Was a nice time back in the day. Welcome to the forum. Have fun!
  10. Okay great! Have already some ideas for editing, but need a moc first. I am so slow, i need weeks to think about it before i can start building
  11. Truly a masteriece! Now i want to dismiss Star Wars and become a pirate arrr I love the colonial architecture and the colors. The slight angle of the buildings makes it even more interesting.
  12. Got the 75330 Dagobah Diorama. It was a nice build. I really like the trees/roots. Building the swamp with all the 1x1 pieces was not as tedious as i though it would be. Actually it was fun haha. But i don't get why they did not use 1x2 tiles. The only reason i can think of, is to increase the piece count. My sister also bought me a big cup (= 215 loose pcs) of tan 1x4 masonry bricks at her local Lego store's PAB wall. I thought the 1x4 masonry bricks would never ever show up at a PAB wall, so i am very happy.
  13. The freighter looks fantastic! I like the red and tan color scheme. And there is so much interior space. So good
  14. I realy dislike the lack of playsets. So far only one real playset has been revealed with the bomber. I can only hope the two Mando sets will be good. Oh, and yes, i, for one, would like to see ST sets, as well as Solo or R1 sets
  15. For 65€ i wish we would get a Tusken tent and a (moulded) Bantha. The Set comes with Tusken Boba and a Tusken family of 3 with updated prints and robes/capes.
  16. I picked up two of the Lego Star Wars magazines when buying groceries at the supermarket. The Mandalorian Loyalist is a nice minifig and it even comes fully equiped with 2 blasters and a jetpack. They had 10 of these magazines and maybe i go again in a week or two and see if there is something left
  17. I love how the Bumblebee head and arms fit together with the printed amulet and torso All the figures look great!
  18. Congrats everyone!
  19. This is such a beautiful build! The architecture, the colors, all the details! Simply beautiful
  20. I recylce boxes and instruction so it doesn't really matter to me, but i have to say, opening punch-tab boxes is much more fun, so i prefer these. "Take this punch you box and gimme the Lego!"
  21. Not for the list but i have to write this down now because i have to get it out of my head I have many ideas for sets but there is only one set i really want: Madam Garsa Fwip's cantina, the Sanctuary. The set comes with a detailed facade and a rather sparse roof and side walls (to minmize the costs ) The floor will slide out of the back, so you could display (and play with) the interior separately. The interior consists of a bar and that red seating area where we can see Krrsantan in one of the scenes. Then there will be a large round gambling table with a croupier droid in the center. At the back, opposite to the entrance, we will find a little stage area. The bar at one of the sides, the stage area and the entrance will be 2 plates higher than the main floor. 1200 parts, 129,99€ and comes with 8 minifigures: - Garsa Fwip and the yellow Twi'lek waitress - Black Krrsantan and a Trandoshan - Max Rebo and a croupier droid - Boba and Fennec
  22. Great figs! If i had to pick a favorite, i think it has to be Gramps, but i really like all your figs.
  23. I really like the facade of the building with all the angles and modern achitecture. Your photography and presentation is great
