Keep us updated please, if it’s a good light kit I’ll order it and install the lights at some point next year. It’ll mean dismantling the model (because I’m still going to build it this week starting tomorrow) but it’ll be worth it 😅

hope you both get your sets delivered today then! :) my online warehouse has finally dispatched even though I emailed them to say I gave up waiting and found and purchased one from a local store and don’t need the online order anymore. I’ll have to wait until I receive it before I return it I guess. Is Game of Bricks a legitimate and trustworthy company? I really want those lights on the set! 😃

In Belgium?! That’s mad! I wonder what’s going on with the warehouses? I reckon they don’t even have my one in stock and that’s why they keep on delaying it’s shipment. Either way I picked up a set from the Lego store today and I now have it safe at home waiting to be built next week. If I was you I’d ring up all your local Lego stores and ask if they have one in stock. You’d probably get it much sooner that way, there’s no telling how long Lego will take to deliver these sets now.

So I’m still on ‘In Warehouse’ and on a whim I rang up the nearest Lego store to see if they had the set in stock and they did, so I’ve asked them to reserve one for me and I’ll be picking it up today. Can’t cancel my online order so I’ll have to wait until I receive it before I return it. Though if anyone on here who lives in the UK is on back order and wants the set sooner, I’m happy to sell it to them. I’ll only charge extra for postage :)

Exactly, all I get as a response is it’ll ship ‘soon’. I’ve spoken to four different members of staff now and they’ve all said the same thing yet they took the money two weeks ago. I just don’t understand why they can’t give us a straight answer. Also you’re better off contacting them through their online chat, it’s more instantaneous than awaiting an email response.

Nice one. I’m still waiting and getting really annoyed with Lego now. I’ve booked time off work from next week Friday specifically to build this set and it still hasn’t left the warehouse. It’s frustrating 😩

Sadly my order is still stuck on ‘In Warehouse’ and Lego have emailed me to say they’re experiencing high volumes of orders and will get to shipping mine soon. Even though I’m not building the set until next week Friday I’d rather it have been delivered by now so I know it’s safe if you know what I mean

Well it looks like mine isn’t being dispatched today after all. Still says ‘In Warehouse’ and it’s nearly 7pm here in the UK. Anyone else still waiting on ‘In Warehouse’? I contacted Lego and they assured me it would dispatch today or within the next few days due to a high volume of online orders.

That’s great news, mines still on ‘In Warehouse’ but hopefully it’ll change soon. Out of curiosity did you pay extra for express delivery or did you go for the free shipping? I wanted to pay for express but it wouldn’t give me the option only free shipping.

Yeah. I’m also wondering if those of us with an ‘In Warehouse’ stage on the order will have the sets shipped today or if it’ll be stuck on that stage for several more days due to the high amount of orders Lego has received for all the sets released last week.

It’s probably best to go on the chat on the Lego website like I did and ask to speak to a Lego expert and they can check for you. That’s what I did :) apparently my order is already being packed and will be dispatched before the 8th. She said I’ll receive it within 4-5 business days

In the UK it now says sets won’t be shipping until 29th of November. I contacted Lego customer services as I placed my order at 8am and they said only a handful of orders made it for the 8th of November release. She said I just made it with mine but sadly I think a lot of buyers won’t have realised yet they won’t be getting the set until beginning of December now. For an expensive set, I’m amazed how fast it’s selling out. Granted, I know shortages and delays with materials doesn’t help the situation 😕

As far as I’m aware the VIP release was a rumour which has now been confirmed false. Whether that was the original release plan and they had to delay it or it was always going to be pre order on the 1st and available the 8th.

I’m speechless. I’ve been waiting for this set since I was a kid, and now that it’s here it’s more than I ever imagined. I can’t wait to buy and build these behemoth - however long it takes 😁 @MrKite6 what a birthday for you it must be 😅

Expanding on what @Polarlicht and @mark1991t have said, this is from PromoBricks website which I’ve translated into English for non German speaking folk such as myself :) from PromoBricks: (Update from October 6th, 2021) At the end of October, another set for adult LEGO fans will appear with the LEGO 10294 Titanic. After a first picture of the packaging had recently appeared and gave us a first look at the ship, we have now been able to find out more details for you. The LEGO Titanic will be 135 cm long and 44 cm high and is therefore a whole lot bigger than initially assumed. All in all, the ship is pretty much exactly on a scale of 1: 200. What many fans should be happy about is that there will probably be no stickers in the set. As it looks, all visible details are prints, the flags of the Titanic are printed foil parts. There will also be a small nameplate in the set, which uses the printed key parts of the LEGO Ideas 21327 typewriter to form the name "Titanic". It will also be possible to open the LEGO model of the Titanic between the first and second and between the third and fourth chimneys to inspect the interior of the ship. Some readers had already noticed the seam, which is in the appropriate place from top to bottom. The LEGO Titanic thus consists of three modules that you can put together or take apart. The decks of the ship are reproduced in detail and true to the original in a depth of three knobs at the corresponding points that can be opened. Here, for example, you can discover the bathrooms, dormitories, the salons or the swimming pool. At the very bottom are the huge steam engines, which can be removed. If you turn a gear, the individual pistons can be moved up and down. In addition, the corresponding propeller rotates at the same time via a Technic axis. The interior of the ship consists of a mostly hollow Technic framework, the outer walls are attached to it in a modular manner. I really hope the interior includes the grand staircase then (which I’m assuming it will if the viewing is between the first and second funnel). This set is getting better and better! Can’t wait for the official press release 😃 oh and happy birthday @MrKite6 fingers crossed the reveal is today to make your birthday more special 😊

Also we don’t know how much this image has been cropped - there’s no telling what the size of the box is, meaning the image could’ve been stretched out or thinned. Plus it could be an early draft which someone took a picture of to purposefully leak. Either way, I’m sure we’ll see official images and a press release any day now if the October 20th VIP release is true.

Might be an optional piece in the set itself? So they offer one of every flag and it’s up to you to choose which ones you display on the model? I could see Lego doing this. If there was an award for most original comment I could give, you’d win it. This made me laugh 🤣🤣 I’m really excited for this set too! Even with the leaked image I’m still impatiently checking the internet daily for Lego’s official press release and then the two week wait for October 20th is going to be spent endlessly staring at the press release images. Worst of all, even when I purchase the set on the 20th I still have to wait until November 19th to build it as I have full time work and part time Open University studying to juggle between now and then, but then I have a 2 week holiday starting on the 19th 🤣🤣 Adult life always gets in the way.

The anchor could be an interesting one because the small build could also include a cart being carried by horses with the anchor situated on top. That was how the Titanic’s anchors were brought to the shipyard. We could even have a scale replica of one of the boilers. Perhaps a small recreation if one of the staterooms? The possibilities are endless 😃

Don’t worry TLG wouldn’t even consider doing an iceberg as it’s an offensive build (I mean, the object which caused the destruction of the ship itself and 1,498 souls? They’d be mad to include it). I do like your idea of mini tug boats though, one of the GWP’s could be the SS Nomadic (The Titanic’s tender ship which brought passengers aboard. It’s stationed to this day in Belfast outside Titanic Belfast). We shall soon see anyway :) I think it comes down to a few things; the Titanic, when everyone is told to think of a ship, is the most recognisable icon because of pop culture. And, while infamous for the disaster, I think the main intrigue still with the Titanic is the amount of workmanship that went into designing and building her. She was the largest ship of the time, everything hand carved. That personal human touch is what ships of today are lacking. It’s also why ships from the 1900s always look aesthetically pleasing compared to the mass floating bulks of today. Those are some of the reasons why the Titanic’s legacy has stood the test of time - there’s countless more. Hope this helps explain things @Polarlicht :)

Just woke up to see the leaked images and it’s everything I’ve ever imagined it to be since I was a kid dreaming of a Lego set! Also in response to some other posts, Briqfoundation is a highly trusted Lego source so this reveal is most definitely real :) Also as a history buff I also agree that the colour of the funnels is a little off, hopefully it looks better in person but if not either some paint or sourcing out Sandy yellow identical pieces will have to commence. Either way, can’t wait for official reveal and perhaps there’s even still a possibility of little snippets of interior in the hull (especially when we consider the order vertical line towards the front of the bow). Far more superior to the Cobi models, but for those on a budget the Cobi models are still fantastic builds :)

Yeah… this isn’t the place to be patronising buddy. Not sure why you’re being sarcastic either when I was merely defending an earlier response from another user which you appeared to also attack. Keep it topic relevant or don’t post at all. Otherwise admins will remove you.

Maybe everyone has their own opinions on what qualifies as interesting part usage? Only what’s been mentioned on here so far, but if the rumoured November 1st official release date is true, even the 20th October VIP early release date, we’re sure to have some leaks or official confirmation very soon. Any day now perhaps? Only time will tell :)
