Great idea! I can make a "Characters of BoBS era 2" thread tonight, where everyone can post their main character(s) with a hidden partslist under each. We'll make a new one for each era ! Don't worry, I have had the dreaded captain Kane in my minifig box for well over a year -

I'll post them soon (hopefully), but I want to make small scenes or decorations for each one. @KotZ I updated Duc Perrault's outfit to fit better with the other council members. Hope you don't mind the creative liberties taken haha -

@KotZ Thank you, I actually have a bunch more! I made a lot of Oleon main characters, Corries and a few sea rats too. I'm really struggling with Eslandolans though @Keymonus Of course! It's one of my favorite heads It's from the Resistance Admiral Ematt figure, it also appears on a Hoth rebel trooper : https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb2127&idColor=90#T=C&C=90 -

Dear Members of Oleon, I had some fun recreating your King and High Council Members as light nougat figures. Please enjoy! King Philip I and Queen Beatrice Pierre Lavalette Genaro @Captain Genaro / @Thomas Waagenaar Berart Mazan @Phred / @Bodi / @Keymonus Guiscard Emery de Beauregard @Kolonialbeamter / @CapOnBOBS Guérin Godefry de Tourment @blackdeathgr / @Jeff of Clubs Robert Perrault @KotZ (Sorry for the gigantic pictures, I don't know how to make them smaller) -

[OL-FB] No quarter for the traitors!
Justsomebrix replied to Keymonus's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Captivating and well written story as always! My only comment would be to refrain from using a figure the way it came in a set, especially when using fleshies. The Luke and Flitch figures come with great pieces, but having the figures unchanged makes it impossible (at least for me) to see the figures as anyone else than their movie character -

The Seawatch Campaign - Coordination Thread
Justsomebrix replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Something that I just thought of that could be a reasonable argument would be that after researching all of the recent natural disasters, our scientists predict a cataclysmic event in the near future (after all we are know for science + 2 of our 3 entries to "a storm is brewing" challenge are research/science related). We keep this information for ourselves and make our n1 priority to reinforce all of our settlements. Therefore all our troops on the island are called back to be stationed in our various settlements instead. However the storm ends up hitting while many of our ships and troops are at sea. I think this addition to the plot could add some extra drama as Oleon could suspect Corrington of hiding something (the cataclysmic event). Which would add even more tention between the two as Corrington breaks the "Articles of Coalition" -

I dig it! Sounds like we could get a lot of interesting builds out of it! I asked the faction chat about it, but I personaly don't have an issue with that. I just wan't a fun progression for the seawatch campaign -

@Keymonus I understand your concernes, but I hope that it will make more sense once we've announced more of Era 3 (I promise my intentions behind the suggestions isn't just to exterminate ships and troops) Also I did not mean to insult anyone with my "boring" remark, I'm very sorry if it came out that way. I was very intrigued by the war at first and I think some great mocs and stories have come out of it. I was more so refering to the time it has taken to finish this storyline. The Lotus conflict started right as I joined the game, now it's been over 2 years and the Seawatch campaign itself has lasted more than a year... -

I'd be glad to make a scene of some troops discovering a deserted Lotus camp to kick start the mystery. But we don't want to rush to the conclusion as we want the storyline to end right as we transition to the new era. However there's plenty of possibilities to show the tensions rising within our ranks. Maybe we too suffer desertion ? Maybe fights break out between our troops? (For example, when Corrington order it's troops off the island, some Oleon troops could see this as cowardice/treason to their alliance and turn violent) Let's make the conclusion of this boring war the most exciting part of it! -
The flood was a great idea! Your execution was even better As always you pack your scenes with so many details and intriguing characters, I always spend a good 3 minutes looking at all your pictures. Very good read as well

The Seawatch Campaign - Coordination Thread
Justsomebrix replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hello everyone! Era 3 is quickly falling upon us, and with that I think its finaly time we end the seawatch campaign! As we've tried making pretty clear without revealing to much about our plans for era 3, we in the council want the most chaos possible for when we make the transition into the new era (after all, a storm is coming). Therefore I have a proposition as to how we can end the invasion of El Oleonda, a sort of pre-planed co-op storyline which aims to set certain elements/motions into place as we conclude the war and enter a new era. I suggest that the natural disasters we are seeing all over the new world are reminiscent of a Lotus profecy of "the end of the world". Leading them to suffer mass desertion from their troops, forcing them to make a full scale retreat from el oleonda. (We can discover this however we want, but for example we could have our scouts intercept one of the last retreating forces, and then interogate the prisoners) When our 3 empires learn that El Oleonda is suddenly under their control, this should naturally lead to some tentions rising. This is of course up to each faction how they wish to react, but here is what seems logical to me : - Oleon wanting full control over the island, argues that the coalision should push forward. - Corrington however, who mainly aimed to protect their commerce ; sees that the Lotus aren't a threat to them anymore and orders their troops off the island. (- Eslandola : I honestly I'm not sure what their ambitions in joining the alliance was, so I don't have any suggestions for how they could react) We should aim to break our already fragile alliance (ideally none of us will be on friendly terms when era 3 starts), creating some last minute drama for era 2. Additionaly for some undisclosed reasons it would be great to have as many ships at sea when the era ends (the mcra are closed until era 3 so this is only in terms of storytelling) so if the factions could send warships full of soldiers out at sea, that would be great. Let me know what you think! -

Always love some dynamic poses! Great scene, you can really feel the action here -
It's been said by everyone at this point, but it's impossible to comment on this moc without mentioning it : Fantastic work on the wave! It looks fabulous The little ship looks great as well, very impressive for its small size

Congrats on the frontpage! Looking forward to your future projects! Whatever happened to your fleet? Did you keep them on display pr where they broken apart?
-
Amazing work on this one! I used to scroll through your old fleet all the time, your ships have always been some of my favorites (The first version of Achille will always have a special place in my lego heart!) Hope she wins
