LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
HatBricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's just the lighting, but it almost looks like Mace Windu has dual molded arms, I got all excited for a second. -

I hate the fact that I actually quite like the trash compactor. I think it's pretty cool that the junk is designed so that you can push the walls in and the junk on the floor fits like a puzzle so it can be displayed compress. I'm not necessarily disappointed by the size of the droid area, it's more that having a set with an imperial control room would be cool. I really love all three of the quote sets, this is going to be rough on my wallet. -

It does, but it doesn't appear to be the same one with the extensive leg printing that is presumably for the landspeeder. I'd be very happy to be wrong. -

That C3P0 is fantastic, I'm so sad he isn't coming in the trash compactor. Definitely makes the Landspeeder more desirable. -

ah, I was hoping there might be a more extensive control room on the back, but that's pretty minimal. The C3-P0 and R2 look pretty good though, R2 appears to have back printing, I wonder if the one in the Yoda's hut also has that? I do like the build for what it is, the trash compacting function seems fun, but it feels like the weakest of the three for me. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
HatBricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Knowing that we are getting 2 Kenobi sets, I'd like to think they'd look something like this. For the locations set either we get Tatooine settlement dual: with a build of Tatooine settlement Minifigures: Obi Wan, Grand Inquisitor and Owen Lars For the Ship Inquisitors Ship: with a build of the ship Minifigures: Obi Wan, Darth Vader, Reva (Inquisitor 3rd Sister), Inquisitor 5th Brother, Stormtrooper My hope is really to just get a reprint of Grand Inquisitor and 5th Brother as well as Reva. Anything else would just be icing on the cake. -
Ongoing Transformers Rumors and Discussion
HatBricks replied to NoOneOfImportance's topic in LEGO Licensed
The speculation is that he'll be based off the design from the new movie (since it was originally suppose to release this year), but the movie design is based on G1, so it seems likely it would look G1 inspired. Though that is merely speculation and no details are confirmed. -

Promobricks posted an update to their story saying the release will be June, which seems to originate from the same image as the preliminary package. The bad news being it's a month later (not really that bad news, I'm happy to wait a month) and the good news being that thre is confirmation (or as close as a leak can be) that it is coming on this year and not postponed like the movie it might be based on. -

Ah, my apologies, I'm not surprised that's the case, I just couldn't recall. -

So there's a rumor now (I put a big grain of salt on this one) that we're getting Obi wan and Darth Vader brickheadz in May. The original post is that Cody account (who doesn't seem very credible), but this rumor was also reposted by Greekbricks (the original source of the Republic Fighter Tank Rumor that is seemingly confirmed), though on further look it's something Greekbricks originally posted a couple weeks ago. It doesn't seem like the most outlandish set possibility, but while getting one thing right, does seem relatively credible, it isn't the most extensive track record. As far as I can tell no other credible sources have commented on this. -

That would certainly make sense. This really is the most bizarre set, and an even weirder time for them to make something like this, but I'm all here for it! -

my first thought would be that those clones are fake, but I think the original poster is the same one that first posted the muppet minifigures? (not 100% sure). They certainly look good, but if this is an august set, it seems a little early for them to be leaking. I don't know, but I'm interested to see.... EDIT: Falcon Fan even reposted them, so I guess they're legit -

Its very strange, if it is fake, than clearly this person at least has quite a bit of talent when it comes to making fake pieces, so it's kinda odd that they would jeopardize their "credibility" by posting other stuff that makes them seem fake on purpose. But who knows, fake leaks are always kinda strange. Regardless of if the piece is legit or not, we know we are at least kinda getting something that kinda looks like that, so I guess it's a bit fun to have a better idea of what it might look like. -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
HatBricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
It will be interesting to see if we start getting physical minifig leaks for the Sanctum soon like we did with the bugle. Despite knowing the most of the roster, for a bunch of figures we don't know if we're getting new versions or not. (Like is Wanda going to be a repeat or new?). I think it wasn't until end of march that Punisher and Black Cat appeared last year, but I must say I'm quite curious. -

Agree that would probably be the case, though I imagine even using that mold in green would be a bit of a challenge, I hope they do, and if not, I hope it's an equally cool character. Regardless, just being another Marvel Modular makes the Sanctum my most anticipated set of the year (unless we do get avengers tower or something) -

It's going to be quite interesting to see what the final roster of the Sanctum will end up being. There's now 4 potential strange variants (Zombie, Defender, Sinister and the new one), plus alot of interesting choices for that ninth figure (both spoiler and not). As others have said, from a purely design perspective, Rintrah would be pretty cool. -

I gotta say I quite like this pack. Korg and Miek look great, a Chitarui seems like a fair inclusion, Valkyrie's a good choice but it was a new figure (or at least had the new hair). Thor's kinda meh for me cause he comes in 2 other sets already, but I suppose it makes sense. On it's own I like it quite a bit, but it's kinda weird to have the focus on these minor characters (i think Korg has the only new print) since we're still missing endgame versions of major characters (Like Ronin, Nebula, War Machine and Black Widow) -

I thought it was strange that they only revealed the Goat Boat Officially on Lego shop before. So now seeing the contents of this set, It seems they didn't want to reveal the build for some reason, since it's the only part of the set not also in the Goat Boat... -

The thing about the alleged force ghost piece, is that there don't appear to be any sets it corresponds with at the moment. It seems a bit too early to be getting physical leaks for August sets. (I think we only started seeing the august figures leak in may last year). Guess we'll have to wait and see for sure. The piece certainly looks real, but maybe it's for a different theme or something? -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

On the discussion of the Avatar/Mordo Hair, there's always the possibility while the piece was made for Avatar, it could be reused for Mordo. It wouldn't be the first time a "close enough" piece has been repurposed for something it wasn't intended for. Hopefully we get a new piece, cause no existing pieces really capture it properly. -

My first thought when we saw that was the Marvel Accessory pack, since that's still suppose to be coming in April -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
HatBricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
When the bugle first leaked we were told it would have at least 15 minifigures. My theory, which others may be able to confirm or debunk, is that this inital leak cam from preliminary images of the box art, where only around 15 minifigures were visible on the front. I feel like with the sanctum being smaller, and not a "public" building like the Bugle, they'd be less likely to hide minifgs inside, but who knows for sure? -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

So it seems the Sanctum will have 9 minifigures, which is quite a few less than the bugle, but presumably quite a few of them will have to be fully new, and not repeats. -

Could a Stark/Avengers tower set, maybe include stuff from multiple films (like a bunch of iron man suits?) -

Sanctum, Brick built Groot and Iron man 2 by the looks of it.
