Really appreciate Promobricks giving us the info, I know we've been very curious about this. I have to say, this minifigure roster is disappointing for me. I can get why, they would have it include some stuff from infinity war, but getting what I assume will be 4 new versions of existing versions of figures we've got before (IW Wong, IW Iron Man, the Stark Spider-Suit, Ebony Maw) especially since I don't really feel like any of these will likely be significantly better than those previous ones. (Though I can appreciate for those that missed out on any of the previous versions like Bricktober Wong and Maw this could be quite a catch.) Just in my personal preference, if they're going to have to be new version prints and stuff anyway It would have been nice to get more MoM characters we've never had before. (I haven't seen the movie so I don't know who's actually in it, but even from what was shown in the trailers, there was certainly a lot of stuff that would have been nice to get). That said the strange variants and Mordo do seem quite exciting, and honestly the build was always the main draw for me from this one. Who knows, maybe the IW figures will look so good I'll change my mind? Seeing as the minifigure roster isn't very spoilery and this isn't a D2C, maybe we could get an official reveal sooner than we would have expected?

I'm left wondering if the new promobricks was teasing this morning actually ended up being the Marvel news. I don't suppose FalconFan has any insight they could share with us? The mention of an article does seem different than what they ended up posting.

Falcon Fan's story describes it as an "article" so I'm hoping we might get details on the full wave, and the Cody thing is just a highlight their teasing. We'll find out soon enough!

I recall an occasion recently where Promobricks had a countdown that ended, nothing happened, then they posted some stuff a few hours later (it was for marvel stuff), so hopefully there will still be some info coming later today. EDIT: According to Falconfan, info is coming later today, so still something to look forward too!

Seems like promobricks is counting down towards some sort of announcement regarding the AT-TE and the possibility it's Utapau based. It does seem like a lot of build up just to announce the details of a single set. So I almost wonder if maybe there's more too it than that? Perhaps lego may actually reveal the set similar to how they revealed the Bad Batch Shuttle from last year. And maybe they're revealing it today instead of May the 4th, cause it's "Revenger of the Fifth," and the AT-TE is from Revenge of the Sith? I guess we'll have to wait and see, but either way their teasers bode well for commander cody.

Me too, with potential inquisitors, Commander Cody Kaminoans and more all up in the air, seems like a strong possibility of getting some very cool minifigures this summer!

I think it's more the inflation/exchange rate. The threshold for us is 200 cad, and the stuff I bought is 210 cad (rounding up). Mostly think it's the Dagobah being 110 cad here. For once increased prices have their advantage I guess.

Stayed up until midnight and snagged the Dagobah Jedi Training, Republic Fighter Tank and the Tie Fighter in order to get all the promos. Sadly despite how early I got my order in, my Republic Fighter Tank was part of the backorder, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for it.

The sanctum has been referred to as a modular building by Promobricks, so whatever the clarification of D2C or not (or whether it will be in an 18+ box I guess) seems likely it will be a good build.

If true, I really hope it means we're getting Nala Se and Lama Su. Would be great to get them!

The picture used that Promobricks posted is of Bowser. Could just be a randomly chosen image as a placeholder, but it would be interesting if the set ended up being Bowser themed.

My interpretation of the promobricks story was mocking some of the fake rumors we've had recently. I'm doubtful their hinting at anything in particular. The other story seems to hint at a return of Lego con, and considering that's were we officially saw the summer Mando sets last year, maybe we'll get some official star wars reveals whenever that occurs.

Maybe we'll get more teasers from them? There is still plenty we don't know about the summer sets and their minifigure rosters.

I was under the impression that they had played around with Harry Potter news in the past (I don't know for sure). But this was just a clip from an Instagram story, it's not a confirmation unless they flat out say so.

While I do think Promo Bricks is pretty clearly implying something, it doesn't mean that it's something that's actually happening cause they could just be making a joke. I agree with others that it's probably best to wait for a concrete statement before getting too deep into the speculations/hopes. We'll know for sure eventually.

If it is ROTS based, they gotta give us Cody, it would be pretty painful to get a Utapau based AT-TE with no Cody. (Though it would honestly still be a buy with 212th clones )

Promobricks posted a clip to their story on instagram that seems to imply that the summer AT-TE is from Episode III instead of Episode II The clip shows the scene of Commander Cody ordering an AT TE to fire on Obi-Wan, however it cuts to an episode II AT-TE on geonosis blowing up. To me, the clip clearly implies their saying our AT-TE will be episode III based, but it remains to be seen if this is a confirmation, just a rumor they're teasing or they're playing around having some fun. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I think it's a fair assumption. We'll have to wait and see, but I suspect they're well aware of the message it sends.

I'll remain skeptical until we hear what Promobricks has to say about the rumor, but I at least quite like the idea of such a set. I do like the idea of getting D2C sets based on the Disney plus shows. So I'd be pretty excited if that was something we're getting. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

You make some very strong points I forgot to consider I was thinking in regards to the first Doctor Strange set from January, that probably would have come in March had they'd always known it would end up being in May from the beginning. But you're both absolutely right about that, I guess I'll just hope they don't then As long as it comes out after the movie hopefully they wouldn't see it as a problem.

I'm going to predict we don't see the Sanctum revealed until mid May, with a late May release with first leaked pictures being early-mid May) When Lego was making this set, they probably expected the movie would still hit it's March release date, meaning if the Sanctum would fill the Daily Bugle's previous release period it would release far enough afterward to not risk spoiling anything (since while not confirmed, the rumored minifigure roster of the set at least strongly implies there will be some spoiler characters included). And since the it was probably too late to delay the set once the movie was delayed, it would make sense how we could get a set with spoiler content so close to the release of the movie. Who knows for sure, but I'd be shocked if it comes any earlier than late May.

The idea of a "Marvel Icons" set doesn't seem super ridiculous (though strange that Thor's hammer was a separate set). It could even be pretty cool if it's build like a sculpture similar to the Harry potter one. But given what day it is today and the "Hulk Taco's" and Tony Stark Glasses (as a one for one of the Harry Potter set), I'm very skeptical of this.

That's too cruel, I completely forgot that's tomorrow. Guess we'll have to wait longer. I hope people at least come up with some creative ideas for what the 500 dollar set is going to be tomorrow.
