I'm afraid we won't hear anything until later July, based on how the last releases went. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm setting that as my expectation so I don't have to deal with the weekly/daily disappointments .

I do of course realize this. I guess I didn't make my point well. Difficult when we're all communicating across a platform that doesn't account for tone . I was using an exaggerated example to give an alternative perspective. I used myself as in that opposing perspective for simplicity, but movie spoilers aren't a big deal to me personally, just a preference to keep them to spoiler discussion rooms .

The concept doesn't appeal to me, however it's hard to judge until I've seen. Just can't think of many brickbuild objects in thst scale I would want aroun my house. But maybe it's something that'll really surprise me.

Well, I had a set awhile back that was missing several parts (basically 2/3 of a bag). I called and explained this. They sent the parts without asking for any verification, but they only sent a few parts from the bag. I called again and they sent more parts, still missing several I needed. I have up at that point and completed the set out of my personal inventory. It was frustrating however as I bought it new from the Lego store near me and it was a big set (UCS Millennium Falcon).

Ah, don't take all that too seriously . Using a bit of hyperbole to get a point across. Point for me is this is a toy forum, I don't want to discuss movies, that's all.

I actually read it fine the first time, thanks. I don't want any impression of the movie entering it, so yeah, giving an opinion when you know the whole story WILL affect my perception of the movie. I don't want it to, but my brain, anyway, assess all the information it knows as it's viewing the movie. If I know as little as possible I enjoy it much more, and then will enjoy going back and watching a second time with a critical perspective. Nothing specific was said, but importance is rather subjective. And if multiple opinions are offered to opposing views then those will be logged in my brain as I watch the movie. See, I just don't want anyone else's impression. I want to see the movie with only my own.

By the definition you provided of spoiler, saying the LEAKED plot sounded "weak" may lessen someone's suspense as they now have pre-conceived ideas of what the movie is entering the theater. It's like if you went to rotton tomoatos or whatever rating system you prefer and read a review synopsis before seeing a movie. You haven't had a blow by blow, but an impression of what is to come. An impression that will shape your perception of the movie.

Oh, for sure. Sorry, didn't mean to give the wrong impression. I was just meaning specifically for a daily planet. If the bugle sells well (and I suspect it will), I could very easily see a modular line for both marvel and DC, just very different types of modular as to cater to different crowds. I personally would buy all of them, as buildings are my favorite types of Lego sets, and I love themed sets so much more than regular system sets. The daily Bugle is a masterpiece and I plan to have it in hand the morning of the 26th!

I doubt that'd happen until the bugle is retired, as they'd be too similar sitting in the shelves together. I remember hearing somewhere that the Winnie the Pooh designer had some potential issues with his set being next to the idea's treehouse. Which - as I own both - I can a test they are drastically different, I wouldn't have even thought to compare them. Having the DP would just be Lego competing against itself. Never say never, just highly doubtful for a long time.

I plan to go to my local Lego store Wednesday morning and pick it up in person. My wife usually isn't into superhero Lego themes as much, but the Bugle got her excited, so we're both taking the morning. It should be fun!

I mean they've made a bigfig ape before - Winston from Overwatch. A reskin would work fine for DK if they want to go that direction. I personally think that they'll eventually do minifigures, but they'll all have molded heads. Nintendo is pretty particular as to how their properties are displayed, so I would see them giving consent for other themes only if they took the Simpsons or Loony Toons route. While it doesn't fit the best with regular system Lego, it'd be fine enough for me. I just hope if thry ever do make a legend of zelda set that link comes with hat that is removable. A hat piece with elvish ears and a hair mould would be quite useful in many fantasy settings. A CMF would be my ideal solution for those, but only time will tell.

I really want a movie version of scarecrow. He's was so menacing, I feel he doesn't get enough love.

Quite so . The Polyjuice Potion Mistake and Hogsmeade are quite lovely IMO. And while I don't have a great interest in the rest, they are well made and pay great homage to the original wave. Anything is possible, but I think I'll wait until I see pictures or a much fuller, detailed explanation of the D2C before I write it off.

All the leaks may be true, but we've had leaked scripts and such in the past I believe (nothing specific coming to mind, maybe Doctor Strange?) and it seems some details may be accurate, but it's not as clear cut. However I haven't looked at any spoilers for NWH and don't plam to. I'd rather go in and experience the movies without expectations.

While no confirmation as that what this exactly means, there has been a fair amount of speculation that this may be a pre-production or series name, and that we really don't know what we're getting yet. It might be buildable objects still in the sense we're all worried about, but I think there is less confidence that is 100% accurate. Apparently the pre production line of new creator expert modular were classified as 'icons', so mybe someyhing similar? That at least is what I understood. Only time will tell however!

That's a pretty good list! Although I'm not sure if I'd want a Quinjet that big. But if they did one with all of those characters I'd definitely have to buy it.

I'm trying to make some purist customs as well - Electra, morbius, and moon knight for now. You should definitely share as you go, I'd be interested to see alternative versions for characters!

Spider-Ham gained a lot of popularity through into the Spider-verse. A pretty good movie, I'd recommend if you have any interest in Spider-Man. However I completely understand how that character isn't of interest to you. Definitely sell him, he goes for quite a bit!

Or if he even has the power to get it to someone who will be able to make a decision about it.
