Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Childe_Roland replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I certainly hope that to be the case, but Lego Marvel has in several instances left out villains and other important charcters. Until we get some leaks I might not hold too high of hopes to get every character we think should be present. -

Love it. The white cape really rounds it out. 9/10 figure. Only improvements would have been the stone being blue, but I doubt that was in the concept art. -
Ended out around $130ish if remember correctly. Not a bad deal for all the figures and a used set in good condition, although a few small prices were missing.

If it is, it seems like it might work for the new Loki CMF in black.

Anything is possible until we see the final, but I'd say this looks like a final product to me. I'm personally not too bothered by the hairpiece, while not perfect, gives us a unique piece we've never had anything like before. But I do understand why some people aren't thrilled about it. The one consolation I would think is that things look different in hand than a picture over the internet. It seems often enough the initial reaction isn't always the final thoughts on the matter. -

I think the SW figure is wonderful. I mean dual molded hair would have been nice, but I've seen the fakes with that look and it's oversized for the most part, so I'm happy with this. Her outfit is spot on and her hair is the right color. A waist cape would have been nice, but a full cape works well enough for me. All in all 9/10 IMO. -

I bought the SS not long ago, found a decent deal on a local classified listing. It's wonderful set, irregardless of the Bugle. It is a little small when compared to the bugle, but it's a solid hit. I'd say go for it if you're a fan of Marvel and location based sets over vehicles. -

I mean anything possible until we get images. For my money I'd say not. I feel objects at that size wouldn't be very detailed. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the direction that the D2C is going, but I'll wait until we see it to make any real judgement. I do hope it's reveals at Lego Con, I just want to know at this point. -

My guess is it's early to be seeing sets from NWH, but the CMF seems like a reasonable possibility if the release is in August. -

Ahh, sorry for the false hope. -

No idea regarding the white/purple or red/purple, but dark blue bright orange exists with the hobgoblin, sh268. Not sure it's the configuration you want, but it exists. -

Gosh I hope not. So many interesting choices and that'd have to be the most boring . I hope Lego would have a little shame and not give us THREE large mechs at one time, especially since the WWII Iron Man seems to tread a lot of similar ground to the Iron Monger. I'd hope for something else from the What If...? line, like sets based around Inifinity Ultron or Evil Doctor Strange. Also with how the CMF ended out, we're missing some important characters from other Disney+ shows. For WandaVision I'd really love to get an Agatha figure in a set, as I doubt she'll ever be as prominent again in the MCU. For CAatWS I'd be nice to get Zemo and Walker, but I feel we'll have other opportunities at both down the line (Thunderbolts). Or it could go the direction of MCU legacy, giving us some random set with some missing figures. Vorimir with Red Skull's wraith, Natasha and Clint would be cool, but probably too dark. Honestly anything would be fine as long as some unique characters, or at least unique varieties are introduced. As others have mentioned there is a long list of characters if would be good to see. Or who knows, maybe it's a curveball and it's a comic based set. Hopefully we'll see the speculative Thor's house soon along with some information as to what this might be! I just hope it isn't a buildable object in line with the gauntlet or helmets. I like those sets, but in moderation. -

Depends on which outfit is being referenced. Looking at photos from Ragnarok I'd say the outfit is a decent match for the final battle of that movie. Not perfect by any means but close enough for me. Unsure what her costume is supposed to be in What If...? however. Time will tell, but glad we have another chance at this figure! -

Haha! That's something unique, I'll give it that. I like the build much more than I would've a WWII mech, and the figures are great, I love the Black Sabbath shirt for Tony. The build is fine, the colors are cool but it's another mech, so meh. This makes me much happier about the CMF however as we now (should) have a unique lineup. Overall 7.5/10. -

The one substantially different joker is from the CMF inspiered from Frank Miller's Dark Knight. The hairpiece is different, although it's not the bright green you may be looking for. Just a mention. -

I understand the vehicle not appealing. I have a few D2C's, but all are building based with the exception of the USC Falcon, which I'm not sure if I'll keep in the long-term. -

I bet you're right. Kinda sad as those sets only slightly appeal to me. I might consider the tumbler, but beyond that, it's a no for me. -

They are, in fact, doing just that if the Tumbler rumors are to be believed. -

Wow, don't know how I missed that! But yes, that'd be great if we had some variety. -

Not a bad one. Are you going to use Jace's head or the new Frank for your punisher? -

Ah, there we go. Probably an expensive head, lol. Oh well, I like the actual head really well anyway. Thank you! -

Definitely been around long enough Indy deserves one! I would also be interested to see what they do with the whip. The old one was great for coiled, but wasn't the best for action poses. Having just built the new Doc Ock from the daily Bugle, I wonder if a technique similar to his arms could be used. -

I have the same thought about putting the sanctorum next to the Bugle. I think, however, the best thing might be a moc to turn it to a modular. Does anyone know of a good MOC for the sanctorum they'd recommend? I was looking at one on rebrickable that seemed decent. -

I'm pretty sure it's been said, but I really hope a dual molded hat comes out of this line with a hairpiece attached. They did it before with the Lego Movie 2, it was just too specific to be used for much else. C'mon Lego, if you're go a do this, do it right!
