Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

A lot of people seem upset with the direction of this theme, but I’m here still loving it. And I’m glad to see others still enthusiastic. I really enjoy the new Hogwarts system because I display it with the interior out, and it reminds me of that pull-out picture from that book a few years back. -

C’mon @Brick Clicker spill the beans, my good sis! Yes, me too. I bet it will come with a roof you can change around or something, like the way the bathroom slotted in. -

Good thinking. If he comes with a minifig, I hope they give him his shoes because that's the only way we'd get a DH Dobby. I remember you from the previous years' threads, it's nice to see you back. I hope this year can tempt you back. It's definitely noticeable on her, yes. Hmm, good catch. He does. I think seeing her pictures made me need them all day one. -

Did you guess about Dobby? Well done! I wonder if the price is wrong, and it’s been mixed up like with the chess set last year, because I can see Dobby being about £90+ but they said the creature was $50. 🤔 -

I want to change my prediction for a brick-built Buckbeak to a brick-built Dobby. The rest of my predictions remain the same. I can’t wait to compare them to the real list. -

I have been having the same thing happen to me, too. And when I go on View All and Sort By Price under HP, it also sometimes make the Hospital Wing disappear. So (fingers crossed) it's just a site issue, and not a stock issue! I have £20 to spend on Amazon, so I hope the books will be added on there so I can order one. I think I am just going to buy the Hospital Wing and Divination on release day from the Lego Store, order DADA from Amazon and wait on the Trunk for the possibility of promos down the line; as I don't feel I "need" it right away. UGH I wish I could find the Hospital Wing early. I knew there wouldn't be new sets in the back; Lego never does it that early. I would like to see if there is a picture of the HW connected to the 2021 sets, however. -

There would be no HP9 without JK. They wouldn't be able to make it without her permission, and she has to OK everything. -

OK, I see your point but we can agree to disagree. I don't know much about printing but it looks the same to me, and I think of HBP when I see it. But I'd love OOtP sets, even though I'd prefer this wave be 3-4. I would love that so much. I had it in my potential CMF accessories, but I can't see that happening now. @yori4145 Great ideas, and welcome! I have hyped myself up into thinking this wave will be 3-4, so I would really like to see them finish up those movies and move onto 5/6 next year. But I agree with everyone who wants to see OOtP stuff. There is so much they could do, and it's shocking they haven't already. I can't wait for them, whether this year or next. -

The print is reused from the first CMF series (it's exactly the same) and that Quibbler is actually from HBP, not OOtP. So I wouldn't read anything into that. I believe we'll see a OOtP and HBP wave in 2023, and this year will fill in POA and GoFs missing holes. -

2019: Hogwarts- Clock Tower, Hagrid's Hut, Expecto Patronum, First Task (4). Not Hogwarts- Knight Bus, Rise of Voldemort, Beauxbaton's Carriage (3). I'd personally class Beauxbaton's Carriage as a Hogwarts set since that's the only time it is seen. 2020: Hogwarts- Room of Requirement, Grawp Encounter, Astronomy Tower (3). Not Hogwarts- Privet Drive, Burrow (2). 2018: Hogwarts- Aragog's Lair, Whomping Willow, Great Hall, Quidditch Match (4). Not Hogwarts- Hogwarts Express (1). Clearly, we have different views on what makes a Hogwarts set. I don't just mean castle sets. I mean anything within Hogwarts grounds. -

I think it would be awful to get more non-Hogwarts sets than Hogwarts sets in a wave, and I'm thankful Lego would never do it because they're interested in making a profit. -

I understand the logic behind people putting the Durmstrang Ship with the Second Task, but I personally don't think it will happen because A. Durmstrang Ship is relatively obscure and I can see it being a retailer exclusive i.e. Beauxbatons Carriage and B. Second Task is one of the most expensive sets on the after-market that hasn't been remade yet (alongside Shrieking Shack). So instead I imagine either they will do a Hogwarts: Second Task set (in the style of Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets) which allows them to include 8-10 minifigs and a small Hogwarts side-build, or just make a small $18 set and then maybe try and include the missing champions in a future CMF or remake. I personally would prefer the former. I just really hope we get a new face print for Victor this year because that existing reuse is shocking. I think they originally said, of the three retailer exclusives, one was a buildable creature (76406) and the other two were playsets (76407-8) to stem assumptions that they would be more "experimental" like last year. I personally believe the Durmstrang Ship will be one of the retail exclusive playsets as I can see it having a smaller quantity produced. So that means we have four regular sets as well, but I guess one of them could be more "experimental" (like a buildable Ron?). I'd personally really like a buildable Buckbeak, and I could see the $10 price increase (compared to Hedwig and Fawkes) covering the inclusion of the big molded Buckbeak from 2019 and a slightly higher brick-count. I could see him being around the same size as Fawkes and Hedwig, but instead of being on a stand, those bricks would be used for his legs. I would also like a Niffler, though, so I personally don't mind which. -

Do these come out in May or June? My mom loves Muppets and her Birthday is in May so I hope I can get her some. They look really cute.
