If you read my list you would know Death Eaters didn't even FACTOR into my wish list. But when you think of MoM and OoTP, what do you think of? Death Eaters. This is the only opportunity for Death Eaters and they wasted it. The only scene I wanted from MoM was the iconic OoTP climax. And instead it's 'let's play office!' I wanted sets that actually include new locations and characters.

I have been here since 2016, thank you sis. Just because I didn't create an account right away doesn't mean I wasn't reading every comment and thinking along with them.

Because not a single ounce of thought has gone into these sets, if they are putting Ginny in Sirius Black's escape and Greyback and Dementors in a set based on a film they do not appear in.

There are many, as well as iconic variants of existing characters. Yet we are getting neither here. Just Dumbledore in a new suit. OH WOW. Harry in a closed cardigan. OH WOW.

Exactly. But somehow this is the best year ever. When all we're getting recycled Minifgures in "new" locations." And they can't even decide on a specific or iconic scene for these new locations. The only two I want are the Carriage and the Shrieking Shack, and I might not even buy those on principle. Well, fingers crossed. If the minfigs are wrong and we get a OoTP battle scene I will change my opinion of this set.

They are Dementors. And no, I am not wrong on a single count.

No new characters, no new versions of characters, no iconic buildings or scenes, nothing anyone has been asking for (except Shrieking Shack). No death eaters. No second task. No Gryffindor Common Room. No DH. No Fang. No new molds (except baby Thestral). No Ship. No Rita Skeeter. Just a pile of horrible, vile, messy sets with no connection or meaning (except from 2). They are trash.

I'm sorry, but that list is extremely disappointing. This is the worst year yet for HP. What a let-down. The only sets I love are the Carriage and The Shack. The tower and Dumbledore's office are nice but unnecessary. The brick-built dragon is a weird idea when Dobby and Buckbeak exist. I have long wanted a MoM but what is this messy version? Why would we want offices instead of the Hall of Prophecies or the OoTP battle arena? What even is this scene based on? Why aren't they including Tonks, etc? Why not base it on the iconic battles? Umbridge doesn't even go there in No.5 except for his hearing. There's no large Hogwarts section. There's no new characters. There's no new iconic versions of existing characters.

I bought him his first Lego set last year and he was so excited. He put it in front of his TV and sent me a photo (it was Spider-Man). He does like Harry Potter but not a huge fan like me. When he comes this summer he will see how big of a fan I am.

Well, the castle builds have twice been ways to get niche variations of characters (the Yule Ball and Slug Club Christmas Party - and the promo images show Ron in his tux in a hospital bed, and Hermione in a party dress in a potions class). Besides, Ron, Hermione and Cho will be in their uniform, Gabrielle (and Neville, whom I presume to be included) will be in "regular clothing." I can see them including the underwater arch and a small portion of Hogwarts (likely the Owlery or Library). But who knows. I would be fine with your version, but I can't see them putting 9 minifgures (including a Merperson) in a $50 set, and I really don't want anyone getting left out.
