Why don't you give us a little description of your ship while we wait for the pics?

Its a good start. I like it. I would make the island higher than the water. You have it level with the sand so it makes the water not look like water. The sand should slowly angle up from the water.. If you do that you will see a huge difference in the realism of your creation. -T

I think its a beautifully designed set. Im not sure how to explain the scale of the fort. Perhaps it was built to serve as a temporary until the larger fort was built... Also, it depends on the harbor shape, but there where usually two forts defending a harbor. Especially if the harbor was a U shaped one, there would be a fortification on each side. From what I have seen there was usually one fort larger than the other one. So maybe thats the explanation. Don't Quote me though.

I really only build sailing ships, so I wanted to go with just HMS, but I think It was taken or not long enough so I just put 243 at the end. 243 is the start of an old telephone number I once had.

Wow this a very cool creation. I love the different layers of this moc. And the broken ship has a very unique snot style. One thing How did the ship break in two?

I had Playmobil when I was a kid. I liked that the ships float, and I can remember the sets came with so many extras.

Yea it seems he might have moved on from building, but who knows? One thing though, I have seen his creations online on brickshelf, but they where on Mr. Dulin's page. You could see the Hms Agamemnon from Port Block with Mr. Dulin's ships. I believe they were having a meeting of some sort. Isn't Mr. Dulin a member on this forum. I believe I remember seeing him. Mabe he can contact him. -T

Wow thats a great ship. Very interesting building techniques you have there. Cant wait to see the finished moc.

The offset gunports do look better. One thing I did notice was the access ladder to the weather deck is a little far forward. If you look on ship of the line models and the real thing the access ladder is right before the main mast. Other than that it looks good.

I believe the original pirate line was released in the U.S., and so will the new one. There is such a demand for a new pirate line that it would be dumb for the Lego group not to release new pirate sets unto us North Americans. I sure as hell will buy them, and if they were not released to us, I would order them.
