Yes! Yes! And YES! Awesome concept. Beautiful execution! Great attention to detail. I'll say it all day: LEGO needs a new Caste theme, and a new LEGO Castle theme needs civilian structures like this. Brilliant work!

I may be a "Castle Guy", but original minifigure assemblies are my passion. And I love the Wild West theme! These are magnificent. Would purchase each and every one of them!

I've got enough gray brick, etc... to build my own castles from now to eternity. It's those other kind of everyday, medieval/fantasy buildings that really add so much extra detail to a larger scale Caste build or layout! Bring them on!

Beautiful work! The Forestmen were a favorite aspect of the Castle theme growing up. I think you've done a brilliant job here of working in a classic LEGO style, updating it just enough to remain authentic, but keep things from looking overly simple. Bravo!

LEGO usually takes liberties with their final versions of any IDEAS set. So you won't catch me crying about the differences between what they've revealed for the Blacksmith versus what was originally submitted. As an35+ year fan and collector of the LEGO Castle theme, and its sub/related themes, I'm ecstatic to see something new that isn't just another box castle, horse-drawn cart, etc... Is it different and smaller to the fan submission? Sure. But is it still gorgeous and refreshing to this AHOL that hasn't been offered a great new Castle set in nearly a decade? You bet it is! This is a day-one purchase for me. And rather than pick nits and point out what parts aren't perfect, I'm going to rejoice in the addition of some desperately needed evergreen to LEGO shelves that have been dominated by licensed themes for far too long.

As always, I'm hoping for something that isn't "too junior"; meaning sets that avoid bright and obvious colors like blue and red. New prints and heraldry would be more than welcome. And I'm always hopeful for a good smattering of "civilian" structures like markets, farmhouses, etc. to be included alongside strict castle constructions.
