Is it just me, or do the new City sets feel like a bit of a prequel to Classic Space?

Is it just me, or have they changed the design philosophy in this theme? They used to design all the sets with connectors in the ground so you could put them all together, but it looks like newer sets don't have those anymore?

I know there's a very good chance it won't happen, but I'm really hoping these get made into physical minifigures.

The Medusa snake hair piece wouldn't really fit traditional depictions of Nuwa IMO. That said, she's also usually benevolent.

Do we know when this set will be available?

I legitimately don't know who or what the Flying Warrior is supposed to be, and I'm pretty into mythology. Maybe an angel?

As an AFOL who's only recently started sorting and going back through his childhood collection from the 2010s, I've run into the same problem, most of the pieces are specialized, and there's not a lot of basic parts to just build whatever, and what there is is spread across too many colors to get much use out of.

Legal reasons was a poor way to word it, but I meant something more along the lines of maybe they're not wanting themes to cross over too much for brand purposes.

People liked the figures, but the prices were absurdly high for what you were getting.

A bit weird that Sora has a completely different hair piece in the sets vs show.

I think mixing them up would be fun. Ninjago and Adventurers, obviously, but also Power Miners, Atlantis, Chima, Monkie Kid, etc. Do something fun and creative with it.

I've always been a bit disappointed how they dropped Akita. Hopefully they do something with her now

Those aren't realms, but Chima is. If nothing else, another cameo would be nice

Hopefully this theme brings back some of the wackier Vidiyo pieces that never came out.
