I like how the base looks like the top tower of those russian churchs a bit. -
The various hanging screens and the use of the (printed?) map is ingenious, I also really like the use of the Shark Army General, her use here and the general scene remind me of the series 'The Expanse' and Chrisjen Avasarala for some reason. edit* By the way, are you planning on using regular shark army minifigs for your troops / future builds? I ask because I actually picked a few of them up myself with the intention of converting them to Koszmar / KLR soldiers

Awesome, on a side note I have another question, I don't full understand: "Tank with crew diorama- Allowed 1 Per Unique Tank Design- 10 BB each" I can imagine that say a small quickly put togheter quad or something wouldn't deserve 10 points however I think tanks really limit the players, what about a cool attack helicopter, armored personel carrier or perhaps a patrol boat. Why was the choice made to limit players to specifically a tank only? And as an alternative could a generic vehicle category, perhaps for less points or for points being given by the judge depending on the build instead of a hard number be introduced? So say I build something small like the afformentioned quad, if enough thought and care is put into the quad and diorama it might still net the player a single point or something (because it's a small vehicle) but something larger like a troop transport nets 5 points while a big assault chopper nets the player 10 points etc? Based on judges decision.

Cyka playing on the boombox. Tankman: Uuuuaaagh, yeees a new pr baby! Ubiytsa: Ahem, thank you for inviting us Great Leader, although I must say this is quite the unusual meeting. Dragimir Lem: Hahaha, tovarisch* you must keep up your strength, I have big news for all 4 of you. Speaking of... Pitbull: Apologies Great Leader, Mayk thought it was more important to put some extra time into the range instead of a workout, he meant no disrespect. Dragimir Lem: ... very well. I have invited you and your team here, commander Silantyev, because of recently aquired KLR intel. Shall we say, a storm is brewing, I need my first elite team to be perfectly prepared for conflict. Tankman: Huff huff, 10 more reps! Ubiytsa: A storm is brewing commander? Pitbull: Don't worry sir, K.R.A.S.O.D.'s expeditonary team Village Idiots will be perfectly prepared. Ubiytsa: (quitely whispers in herself) ugh, wtf is up with that team name anyway, village idiots. Well with these two duraks* it is quite fitting actually, who put that ugly pitbull in charge anyway. Dragimir Lem: Well tovarisch, in order to prepare for this potential upcoming conflict you will be meeting up with my 5 top Military Commanders, after all Koszmar can't rely on a single team, no matter how... capable... that team may be. Ubiytsa: (quitely whispers to herself again) damn, these two idiots might not realize it but something has been seriously fishy about all this, if only I could've refused the job. Dragimir Lem: Have you even met K.R.A.S.O.D.'s director yet? Haha of course not, this was all set up so quickly. How about we start of with that and then he'll give you further assignements. Report to commander Urzad Bezpieczenstwa _____ Whew, a bit of a lighthearted fun build, I hope that is okay haha. I tried to add some humor and little easter eggs / references to this build. Can you spot any? As always C&C is appreciated. * Tovarisch = Comrade * Duraks = Dumbasses Edited to fix some mistakes* also in case you're wondering why they are all facing the viewer, they are obviously looking into a mirror as one does when working out

The Hammer and Blade is a symbol meant to represent proletarian solidarity - a union between the working-class and service members. The flag originally had a Hammer and Shovel depicted on it representing the working-class and peasantry, however since the death of the former Great Leader Vladimir Lem and the rise of his son Dragimir* a new focus has been shifted towards Koszmar and KLR military efforts, under Dragimir's order the shovel has been replaced with a blade. Designed much like a conventional tank, but instead of caterpillar tracks it walks on four long, finely-crafted, crab-like legs with cables almost trailing along the ground. The sleek body is smooth and simplistic, and the turret atop the chassis is fairly small with a medium-sized cannon. The drive unit at the rear is fairly well protected with a small smokestack. Few of the Empire's glorious mechs embody versatility quite like this rather elegant walker. It is fairly durable for its tier, has respectable damage, an accurate and strong cannon with splash damage lethal to infantry, and respectable speed. It can perform and respond to almost any task equally well. Its turret can turn to face a target, which allows it to respond quickly to a changing battlefield situation without having to turn the entire chassis to do so. - Heavily inspired by the Isegrim from Jakub Rozalski's 1920 universe. This was a long time coming, work on this project started back in December, since then I've been working on and tweaking the model on occasion, I'm glad to finally upload it. My Saxonian Empire (Dieselpunk) Army, so far. Units: - 1 Field Officer - 1 Squad of Heavy Infantry - 1 Squad of Light Infantry - 1 Special Combat Walker I might end up alternating between building something Post-Apoc and something Dieselpunk from now on (not counting anything I'll build for GBW), I have plenty of ideas and inspiration for both themes haha.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Dutch Thriceman replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hmm I just read through the entire thread haha, it was a fascinating read. I don't really have anything new to add but it was interesting to see peoples opinion. I guess I am part of team Yellows > Fleshies (I don't hate Fleshies and might even use them for some mocs in the future but I would definitely have preferred if Lego had stuck to Yellows only). -
Hmm, I dislike big socials like insta or twitter but maybe I should bite the bullet and make an insta then, from what I heard the Lego community is more active over there?

I am not sure how I boost your MOC with my comments, I'm pretty sure you won't earn extra currency from how many people comment or we could get each other's team members to comment on moc's on purpose. But if I like something I'll say it (and if I dislike something I will say it too! regardless of which team or player), mainly because I'd like the GBW to become a more active game within the Lego community and the only way to get a game to be more active is to be more active yourself -

Haha I didn't anticipate you'd do a magazine cover, well done. However now I'm curious about the interview haha, I guess I need to grab me a TIME magazine now -
Yea, I took a look at your builds, they are great. You have some impressive diorama's and I especially love the most recent tank you build, I can definitely imagine some imperial guardsmen riding that beast as well!

As much as I want to say, isn't GBW supposed to be modern military themed, I absolutely love Warhammer (40K) so personally anything 40K inspired is awesome in my book. Not sure how the judges will feel about it though.

Kerberos Gepanzerter Jägers
Dutch Thriceman replied to Dutch Thriceman's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes it is heavily based on Jakubs art, and it's been finalized for about a week now, but I wanted to showcase it on a (simple) base/terrain only to be occupied with learning for exams this weekend, actually march will be a very busy month for me in terms of having school exams + a fulltime job. Which bums me out because I'm excited to post it, I hope to have some freetime not this upcoming week but the one after to make the aformentioned base and take the pics. -
Thanks

Commander, the following intel is classified, we request that you only share this with officers with appropriate clearance. Our spies have acquired and sent us the following image with attached message: To whom it may concern, the Peoples Republic of Koszmar might sound familiar. Their military (the Koszmar Republic Army) was listed as the worlds worst military the past 7 years in a row and deemed non-threatening by PSIC officials. In order to boost moral and improve their public image, Koszmar established K.R.A.S.O.D. or the Koszmar Republic Army Special Operations Division. This 'KRASOD' was ment to, with funding of the KLR, become a fierce special-ops fighting force ment to rival that of both PSIC and KLR's best. This proved to be a most challenging task for the small and impoverished republic however. After all as the famous KLR saying goes, 'the best of the worst, is still terrible' (rough translation). The picture is a groupshot of KRASOD's first and currently only known (technically unknown, this is classified after all) fireteam, aptly designated Wraith-1 'Village Idiots'. From left to right: - Oleg 'Tankman' Vdovenko, according to our sources Oleg was a former Koszmar civilian construction worker, we genuinely have no clue what this man is doing here. - Mayk 'The Cowboy' Yudman, the only actual soldier and an actual Special Forces member at that, mr Yudman is an import sent by high ranking KLR officials, now you may ask 'because he is such a good soldier, to support Koszmar?' No, mr Yudman is considered a loose cannon, we suspect KLR just wanted to get rid of Yudman as he was more trouble then he was worth. - Sasha 'Pitbull' Silantyev (Sigfig), mr Silantyev is a former mobster enforcer from the Koszmar underworld, he's also according to our sources been designated the squad leader. This should say enough about Koszmar and KRASOD professionalism and competence. - Lola 'Ubiytsa' Obolenskaya, miss Obolenskaya is also part of the Koszmar underworld, a mafia hitman, or should we say hitwoman? Used to seducing her marks, after getting visibly scarred she had to find a new profession. The only advantage for KRASOD, they have been granted some of the latest in gear and weaponry developed by the KLR (probably since they only had to supply a single fireteam anyway); In conclusion, we still deem Koszmar to be an insignificant player on the board. The KRASOD is a literal joke, with only a single fireteam established, with only a single actual soldier in it. The best of the worst indeed. ____ Wew, finally finished my character intro and sigfig / sigteam haha. I hope this is acceptable conform GBW rules and standards. edit* edited some spelling mistakes.

Thanks for the clarification, hmm I am now on the fence, perhaps I will join KLR instead then.

So I guess I'll post this here, after checking out the factions it's clear to me that the Brotherhood of Soalon is probably an unappealing faction to a lot of people, which does make them kind of interesting to play to me haha but I was wondering why the Brotherhood can't control a few countries of it's own I think it would help a bit in making them more interesting to join... or does the Brotherhood have an entirely different dynamic then PSIC and KLR in the game? I think that in-universe it's not unreasonable for BS (maybe TBOS is a better abreviation as well, I keep thinking Bullsh*t) to have a handfull of middle eastern countries in their pocket, through their criminal, blood money fortunes and alliances/support from big oil moguls or some such? (edit* Even if it's all unofficial and shadowy... they are baddies after all) Please let me know your thoughts? Again I'm fine with whatever gets decided.
