Eh i'll take kai. But Nya had better be in the temple or im going to be kind of disappointed. That 4+ set had better be amazing as well. I won't be surprised if there isn't at least a bit of backlash from the community. I'll support it. It just seems weird that she was dropped completely from all retail sets.

Definitely Krux or acronix. Is it confirmed to be a villain? I was hoping for another ninja at least. These minifig designs had better be god-standard, above everything we got in crystalized to warrant the low figure count and prices.

Well it’s good to get confirmation. Personally I don’t want to over blow this into a big drama war again, set pictures are on the horizon and I’d rather focus on that than some crappy internet fight.

I think the reason it’s 2 baseplates long is due to the docks being one and a half, and the gardens being one and a half with that temple. If you display the gardens and the city module side by side so it creates a double corner, then have the docks and the temple island going back behind the city and the markets go behind the gardens it makes a display that is 3 baseplates long by 2 baseplates deep. my point is is that the markets is probably 2 baseplates to match with the length of docks+temple island as that makes 2 baseplates length. And then the gardens and original city are standalone single baseplates. I love the fact for the gardens and city that the entire city is just condensed onto one baseplate that’s so cool.

Yeah, I’m very curious about the hole in the centre and any other features. Kinda miffed the designers didn’t at least try to use technic pin bricks and tiles to try to cover all the blue pins and holes on the mast, I have to hope that they’re there for a reason. Brick clicker mentioned in a recent video that we should be seeing pictures by the end of the week, I’m guessing that’s next week, and I’m not sure if that’s confirmation or an educated guess. Usually I’d say it’s just guessing but he’s part of the inner circle of leakers, so you never know. My advice to myself and others, don’t get your hopes up. But either way we are drawing near to the official picture date of may 1st, and it’s also been a hot minute since we’ve seen a trailer or anything for the show, so I won’t be surprised if we get a trailer on may 1st.

So no fugi-dove? Kinda disappointing. We need a ninjago CMF to round out all the characters we are missing or where released long ago. Im thinking Dr Julien, Antonia, the Upply, among others. Borg store is nice, gives us an opportunity to get Cyrus but im not sure how likely a Borg tower set is now. Im also fairly certain that the face print will be the exact same as the gamer truck dude. Happy to know Garmadons apartment will be present as predicted. Hopefully it has a feature to destroy the wall.

Source is froggyshade on Instagram, and yeah I believe that. These sets are massive, and also a massive cash cow. I’m sure the payoff is huge for them, I do not buy any other sets over £150 ever unless it’s a Ninjago city set. Always been my own rule. I’m sure the markets has been in development before gardens was even finished, and I’m sure apartments is in at the very least sketch model phase done. I hope we get some more information on how these sets are created like we did for gardens Froggyshade has also put some interesting things up on his story on Instagram, part rant about some of the leakers in the community, but more interestingly, the minifig list for the markets came from him and apparently promobricks took it and ran (I’m not picking sides here), and he also says a lot about cancelled waves, shows of some old prelims of sets like jays Titan mech and kais mech rider (which was originally a chopper bike, and the bone king did have a horse), the fact that legacy was cancled due to poor sales and we where going to get a tread assault (damn it!) and a ninjacopter for zane, and a titanium dragon. more importantly information about crystalized however, such as how the last 10 episodes where rewritten and Wu would have died, and it would have been released last year to tie into the 10 year anniversary. Obviously take it all with a grain of salt but considering what promobricks told us before crystalized, like how the ninja turn into the golden dragon, it all lines up relatively well, and would explain the haphazard mess of the last few episodes.

They do. They have had the set descriptions for months, but they release them closer to the launch date to build hype. I’m fine with it personally. yeah, I said before that may be a holding area for the azure dragon that may be coming, like the front basket on a bike.

Yeah I’m feeling the same way. I can see maybe 1100 pieces max, but that’s still 600 missing. Unless the interior is really detailed and the dragon is huge, I’m not really sure where these parts are going. As much as I hate to admit it, with the price, minifigs and design, this may be a bit of a dud. Hopefully official pics change my mind. I also think it will actually look very good in boat mode to be fair. I wonder if this is a recycled concept model for a legacy possession bounty? It definitely has the same traits, albeit the engines and colours are a bit weird. But the thin section in the hill is the same.

According to promobricks there isn’t an azure dragon head, and is actually an azure dragon that’s being transported by the bounty. Maybe it sits in that hole that seems to be at the front deck of the ship? That would take out a whole ton of space sadly.

I saw that but didn’t really know what it is. Ratchet is probably the best answer. I’m looking at those side engine pods, the seem way to small and don’t look like they move which is a shame. I wonder if they’re doing away with the whole moving engines aspect of the bounty now as it was omitted from the show legacy one as well.

Yeah I’m seeing the colours now, wow bright light yellow is weird on the back. It just seems kind of small for what I was hoping, and certainly weird. Hopefully I come around on it, but apparently it has a kitchen and TV room. Wonder if that means we will get hull rooms like in the movie bounty. That would be amazing ngl. Also where did we find out the dragon head was detachable?

Wow, all 3?? Gardens took me about 2 days when I paced myself, and I think I’m a pretty fast builder. I’d take a week of work and just have a massive build fest. Sounds like a dream. Also yeah, I have no clue where I’m putting this. My custom corner module, 16x32 module and gardens can barley fit on my desk and now there’s 2 more baseplates coming. Gonna wait and see if anyone can photoshop it next to the city for a sense of scale, but I doubt that will happen until official pictures and at that point legos marketing team will do that already. I love how we where talking about the markets and when we could see images yesterday and lo and behold they’re here!

Ok so, @Vindicare your friend may have hit the nail on the head here, I think it is 2 baseplates. Which is…. Insane. And it looks pretty filled out as well. Unfortunately it suffers from a lower middle but not as much as the docks. From left to right we have: A large tower on the left, brown building closest to the camera and a green one behind it. There’s a tree that looks like the 18+ bonsai tree ontop and a red curved building ontop of the brown one that connects to the green one in a curve, so maybe it’s a green house? The buildings cut off there, and in between the 2 sections there looks to be a cable car type build suspended between the buildings. I don’t think it will work as a function (no rails and no where to go) but it looks really cool. Behind it is a tori gate, so maybe the walkway wraps around behind the cable car and onto the next section on the left. At ground level in the middle, there’s a small bridge over the water and an open staging area with a market stand, and then what could be another bridge under the right section of buildings. The buildings on the left consist of a giant tori gate or red pillars closest to the camera at ground level to support the second level, so we can’t see much of the lower city unfortunately, however the second level buildings are mainly a blue or purple, and on top of that is a balcony with a building in the far corner, that could be an aquarium? Or maybe another glass greenhouse. There’s the iconic animal balloon ontop of this building, looks to be a pig with a Mohawk? That can’t be right…. We have had pigs already. This looks amazing, I love the build. Hopefully the minifig selection is just as good, I’m seeing at least Lloyd, Jay and maybe Kai? Also on the topic of baseplates, I can’t decide. This looks to be between 2 baseplates and 1 and a half. Could they be bringing back the old 8x32 baseplates? That would be a dream! I’ve been trying to get a hold of one for some time. I’m leaning towards 2 baseplates so far. It is going to be very expensive! Promobricks just confirmed it’s real!

I like the docks on its own but when connected, yes it makes the height diverse and gives it character but at the same time it focuses too heavily on the lower old city levels IMO, and needed more tech stuff at the top to balance it out. That doesn’t mean it needs height, just something to diversify the standalone model a bit more. Hopefully markets pulls through with it. I also forgot it had a price increase, maybe 2 baseplates is the way, although we have to remember at that point that’s like 2 of the original Ninjago City sets side by side.

2 baseplates would be too much IMO. Awesome? Hell yeah. Expensive? Hell yeah…. The only way I can feasibly see them doing 2 base plates is in the next city “cycle” (we seem to get a city module every 2 or so years now) where Lego sets are absolutely massive and inflation and prices are off the charts. They may be able to pull something like a larger Ninjago city docks where it just doesn’t get taller than the new city floor (completely omitting the high rises floor) but even then that throws the current system out the window. We have a single base plate for corners, then a base plate and a half for single stretch’s. I’m betting it will be a base plate and a half to fit with the pre-existing structure. And yes I’m completely ignoring the temple module from the gardens as Im not sure where it fits exactly, as it doesn’t have walkways. I see it as a cool addon for the 10 year anniversary and not much else, although that doesn’t stop me from loving it. Maybe it should go on its own little island behind the city?

As a D2C, it could be any time from now to its release. It probably won’t be revealed with the rest of the sets when they get revealed unless we get a friends style reveal which is unlikely. Our best chances of seeing the set lie with the Lego employees that receive the set early and leak it, like what happened in 2021 (god that was over 2 years ago?!). It may show up in the June summer catalog if that gets sent out early as well. I’d say that we probably won’t see or hear anything about it until at least a week from its launch, and most likely no official pictures and press releases until the day before it launches, as that’s what happened last time with the gardens and Lego seems to like doing that. I mean that Ariel’s palace still hasn’t been officially revealed and it’s just sat out at Walmart stores…. I also can’t wait for the markets, it’s going to be amazing. Hopefully we get a more expansive waterway like the original city with bridges and passageways for boats, that’s always been my favourite part. Can’t wait to see what cool stand out play feature they include this time as well, I’m thinking the crab grill from the original city, the working drinks dispenser in the docks, and the working arcade in the gardens. Also hoping for more of a blend between futuristic and classic, although we can already make guesses on what some of the buildings are. An NGTV news tower seems like it will be the big height aspect, and I’m willing to bet garmadons crystalized apartment will be there as well. Hopefully a police station for the commissioner. We also really need a way to get minifigs from the lower city to the higher city, the only current way is the elevator in the original Ninjago city.

Speaking of minifigures, I’m not the only one that’s kinda ticked off with the bounty selection? We’re getting just Lloyd out of the 6 main ninja. Both the hydrobounty and the legacy bounty came with all 6 ninja, and in the hydrobounty case it came with so many more figures as well, and considering that we got all 6 ninja plus vengestone warriors and the crystal king in the £125 set last summer this just feels… cheap. Like they couldn’t be bothered to just throw in some extra figs. Even 1 Nya figure would go a long way as she isn’t in any other sets.

I’m pretty sure it’s him. The hair piece lines up, as does the red across the face. The words “control time control everything” also appears in the second teaser we got, with it being written across the library walls. Thanks for clarifying, missed that. I only saw “jay and Lloyd”.

I’m guessing it will be brickbuilt, although moulded head would be very nice. At 200 parts I could see it going either way.

Well we know that Krux is in the team mech set, he’s in the picture (minifig holding the orange blade closest to mechs lower right foot in the lower left hand corner) and the imperial hound may fill the battle pack category, if you really love Lloyd and Jay. But the hound itself seems like it will be a mass-able creature and we know one of the imperial bad guys comes with it as well. edit- no bad guy minifig in the hound set, yeah we need a Ninjago battle pack. Something like the oni blister pack we got for season 10 would be great!
