yeah, it's really a fantastic project you are doing. Be proud of it and go to the end! How do you prepare each parts? in STUD.io or other software? for exemple the nose seems only "acceptable" for you, is it because you did it directly without any previous tests? what about the weight or the space ship? should begin to be heavy !!! I forgot... do you plan to make a droid mech to put inside?

I agree, nice work man!

Fantastic work, really amazing, congratulations, one of the most impressive I've ever saw.

Hello, very nice work, and many thanks to share how to build it with the community. Have a nice day on the other side of the world !!!

On my side, it was 75192 UCS Millenium Falcon, to celebrate my 40yo... When I was child, Lego was my favourite toys and I stopped to play with it when I was 16 yo around (my new passions => Sega Megadrive, girls and then cars...) @ 40yo, I decided to return a little bit in the past with this original gift for myself (cost 750€, my wife had difficulties to understand this choice)... after that, my collection considerably grew up, and some of my friends decided to follow me also!

Hi Justus, so I began to realise your MOC when I received a bricklink order for the Bracket 1 x 1 - 1 x 2 Inverted (part I never had). And it's really difficult to connect all big parts together. I don't have big time to work on it now, but I will let my feedbacks of course. My difficulty at this moment is to engage the front because I tried to strenghtened the lateral plate and there is now a contact that let me issue to insert the front element... If I win to realize it completely (and I will lol), I think first work would be connexion under the seat which is really unstable and brittle. Thanks again to permit me to produce this speeder ohhhh I didn't talk about the black screwdriver... what a price in my country, around 9€... waiting for a better opportunity, I miss it

Hi Falcrum, thanks for your pictures. I must admit that on a first look, we can not see the big work behind this small scene. But after reading your description, I would say yes, it's convincing! This is the first time I see a arm not attached to the body, and it clearly makes the job for this special stance! Permit me a comment, I took the time to watch the scene in the movie and we can see that darth vader has already his saber deployed before ben arrives, so there is a little mistake, you should (if you want to approach the movie sequence) put the saber from right to down left of vader. Last thing, may be light bluish gray walls don't enough contrast with white bricks, may be a test in dark bluish grey could provide a better light effect.

oh ok, sorry, seems that my english taduction was a little bit confused. I'll send you my email, and will work on it... but only in 15days (I will not be near my lego for 2 weeks) Thanks and see you soon with a first result!

Hi Justus, I didn't expected it was rendering picture! I've never done that whereas I'm a good user of stud.io. Would you share instructions or may be stud.io file free? If yes, well I would be interested to built it and share with you result and upgrades. May be we can exchange by email the files because I don't have any rebrickable account. If not free (of cours I would understand), I will work on my side for an eventual MOC. Thanks again to let me discover this sympathic speeder

Hi Justus, never knew about a 75207 set and didn't remember to see such kind of speeder in the movies, so thank you very much to help me discover it. I just took a look at Solo's movie to see this speeder in real condition but... if we can see it at the beginning, we clearly don't see anything so not easy to reproduce it from the movie pictures. Of course on internet there are many other versions more detailed. I must admit that I love all kind of speeders and this one interest me now. I think you did a real goo job as it is very difficult to realize compact vehicles with maximum details. Cockpit is really cool with a well inclined back. Could you provide us front and back pictures to take a look on reactor sides? I have a proposal to upgrade it, but this morning I don't know how, because in the movie I think I saw that there were somethings more longer horizontally in black on sides of the speeder, where you decided to attach commands. Lego tried to reproduce it with saber handle Thanks again and may the force be with you

Hello all!!! My falcon is now 1m lenght and as i said by the past, it's now impossible for me to look on it without this escape module which gives a more impressive design, another play possibility... it would be like something is missing. Try to create your own, it was very funny and it permits to talk more longer with friends around the MF. I began to work on other options that we can found in Haynes manual, such as upper compartment and why not a little escape ship that is hidden in the left docking bay. But work has fully restarted in France and I'm missing time... I don't if or when I will success Here a picture from google: Compartments on left's page: Damn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's beautifull! You're so close to original design, and with a different way!!! Congratulations!

good luck lol ... 49 in the falcon... that will be hard to find lol Mine was tan I think take a look at 677 step for exemple on the plan procedure the one at 701 / 713 / 968 / 977 also, it's possible to forgot them and it works without others are really necessary so only 5 places to check, hope that will help you @Onecrazy95civic give feedback if you find

@Lock I'm so happy to see you again in this tread, I was so fascinated by your ideas when I red the topic during first Covid stay at home in france! You shared us a new approach on how to build this tile circle around the docking bay, and I like the fact you win to use 2x tiles, it's a little bit less round but you have a homogen surface faced to the version with only 1X tiles. Otherwise, I think that your circle is a little bit small, looks like only 6 studs larger, other versions we designed (or copied) came with 8 studs around and there is too much space between all the tiles around. May be you can upper the larger of the circle and have the possibility to add 1 or 2 tiles more. look at this master piece : wow remind me the color lol... may be this is the same as me !!! hi, ... the best way, for me of course, should be to use Lego to create the stand... not necessary to do the one of @efferman but your one. I assume that it need time and pieces

Good job !! Personnaly, I had a 2 x6 plate and it wasn't normal, I took many time before finding where it could go. You should only have very little parts, nothing biger than 2 x 1 I think. For the pics on the forum... I don't know. I upload pictures from Flickr and it works good. My module between the mandibule is my creation, it was hard, long ... but I'm proud of if. Yes there is an interior, a cockpit for two passengers, an access to engine and a secret place for the death star plan. It can also be removed, and can completely be attached without any change on the original falcon. Build your one, epic job!!

As I read somewhere, "you did my day" !!! Thanks to test my ideas, I'm so confused not to have the possibility to try it my self. I have many many Legos but not those pieces. Clearly you are going near and near to the model! And as much I look at the rendering, as much I like it! I agree that it seems to miss something to perfectly finish the border of the external circle... I will think about this ( when I could disconnect from my job) ... and why not try to put in a very unorthodox way a Light Bluish Gray Hose, Rigid 3mm in circle just inside the circle to create the final border and to hide your 1 x 1 round plate? You will need of course to cut it at the good length. It shoulb be maintained by upper and lower 3L bar Welcome with us !!! Me too, and today I can't see a falcon without his safety module!!! Look at mine :

@Neophyte_brickie Happy new year !!! Very good update, it's clearly perfectly round now! to go deepest, what about the idea to go without 4x4 round tiles around? it will be more accurate to the original design, and we will have more place in the middle of the circle. for exemple, may be you can put 4x4 round corner plate in the middle of the 3 1x1 round plate that maintain the chain? that could give a support for the rest of the material You can also put some dark bluish grey 1x3 tiles around the chain...

@ClassicLook Just saw episode 6 with my daughter (7yo), she is very fan of the movies even the age of this first saga. And at the beginning, just after they saved Han solo from Jabba the hutt, they decide to go on Endor to destroy the protection of the new death star. Han solo and Lando are in the hangar were the Falcon is docking and we can see this picture which make me think to you and your docking bay: so I think now that we are trying to realise a beautiful docking bay but not really accurate of the movie. Your version, with strenght line reminds us that this is the original way! But it's possible that the original design evolved with actual movies... need to check lol About the way your tiles are attached... wow, very impressive idea of Gyula_herr, certainly fragile but the idea should be hard to find...

As @TeddytheSpoon said, I found the picture on Hotbricks: the red arm had some details... beautiful!

Wow ultra big work, with a construction not following the notice... super job !!!

@ClassicLook hello, thanks to share your version or the one you reproduce. It make me feel a back in the time jump First of all, in my falcon I have always the original design... so don't think that my opinion is wicked After working on docking bays in Studio for other members, I must admit that it's clearly possible to do better than original. You're version seems, I think now that I have some experience, out of date faced of last versions we propose at the end of the topic. My point of view should be that this design could fit perfectly with old 10179 UCS which is a more regular ship, with many straight edges. I think you should upgrade the 3L bar to many other ideas we found (or copy lol) like handlebars which are curved. What about the tiles, how are they attached? @epkiernan Did I found the answer? @ClassicLook You know what? I asked me about what is the original design in the movie in fact... Clearly I don't know. So let's go to google and I found this : Don't know if that come from an original movie but, this version seems mor close to your design than the other... lol Clearly difficult to find the way of the "force" (strenght in english, don't know the name in english of the Jedi's power)

@Neophyte_brickie wow, I must certainly be very tired since I did it first time with 14 then with 12... but my goal was 13... strange to see that this morning, I need vacation !!!! You're right, with 13, now, it will certainly be too much... it 's strange as the time we did it with Marsahll banana design and some tried with a link less.

Hello Anothergol, impossible to find your new wheel on studio... even on bricklink, do you have the part number? I would try to use it on the last docking bay work... thanks!
