The new Pirate line will be released around august I believe, so might be in second half of 2009 catalogue. I did see some pictures of a few new sets, i downloaded them and will upload them to my brickshelf, I promise you... you will be excited!!! the new figures look awsome! darker crocodile, new flag, dynamite (bar instead of tile), red jackets are back with new hats and torsos, i see bananas, yellow/goldish treasure chest, white ores, new flames, new treasure map, new baseplate, a brown octopus called "kraken". On one of the pictures i see a fortress on the back, perhaps a new soldiers fortress????

as small set it was not good enough, but still a 4 since there was a crocodile with it. It was one of the few sets containing a croc which is positive. The against all sets in the theme is bad, it was too expansive for the few bricks included. For the price it was on the market you would espect more bricks.

Brittish was large yeah, but were not feared and the ships themselfs were not as good as the Dutch ships. Only after the golden age practicly was gone the Brittish took the lead. Sweden's history i don't know, except teh fact that they had a part of the East coast of America aswell.

either release sets that never have been released or Pirates of the Caribbean license and theme. Both are great!
-
only demo ships are traps/decoys, so fill a ship with barrels and ramm another ship and... BOOOOOM!!!!! ^_^

why are there 2 simular polls at teh same time by the way????

Yeah, thats what I was trying to find out. Which east india company was ment by it, pretty much every european country had one! Dutch was most well known, English was second in line. what film? still don't know which one you mean :-/

think it would be nicer to have the 9v trains back again, those radio controlled trains might look okay, but im against the radio controlled part. Which is the main reason why i won't ever buy those! Realistic looking trains would be great, let's say vermilliar trains from each country! More buildings related to trains and could use new tracks! *sweet*

your welcome ;-)

You probably mean the Dutch VOC torsos, those are pretty much mostly regular pirate torsos. dark mostly (brown, leather, dark blue, tan but also some white). Im creating some flags for this, WIC and VOC flags. Maybe ill add some sails aswell.

I worked on re-modeling spears for a project (sorry, can't tell any details atm) and I modded some tiles. One 1x4 became a licence plate and a 2x2 with a 1x2 were pasted together and got a T.I.R. sign and a 80km sign (TIR = Transport International Route. and the 80 is for trucks, they can not go harder as 80 km/h in The Netherlands). The Tiles were for my first competition which I unfortunatly lost thanks to the colors I used according to the judges. But what I don't understand is that another with way more colors DID win! But yeah, I cutt-up peaces if I have enough of them to get new parts or what I need.

Try out this website, this dude added pretty much all instructions for any LEGO set including the stickers! You might get lucky there (im sure i seen some there). However, keep in mind that he doesn't add instructions from the current year (I think it has something to do with not wanting to get prosicuted by LEGO 8-| ). Anywayz, might be a great site for everyone! Brickfactory

minifig sink and stickers will peal off when water is added to the mix (or if it is bad quality it just will look terrible). So it has no real addition to the experience, ever see a brick float (except from the ships that were suppost to float)??? :-D

Imperial Trading post, no doubt about it. Unfortunatly I still don't have it :*( -
lol, yeah. been busy with the stern aswell. I noticed it's harder then it looks but ill get it eventually ^_^ Adding in the rudder is the hardest part, the rest is fairly easy so far. Bow looks equally difficult becouse of the front end. I have a feeling it might be nearly impossible with the regualr LEGO's to make, doesn't mean that I stop trying tho ;)

The name was not known yet when I started on it, so I called it "Wadloper 2" (for people that don't know, this Stadler GTW replaced a train called "Wadloper". So it seemed to be a propper name for the time). The name will be changed when version 2 will be released on my website together with more pictures. Changes will be things like the nose and the top side, also the accuracy wil be better. Im still struggling with the inside but the train will be 8 studs wide and also the wheels will be hidden like with the real train.

Tnx for checking Phes ^_^ Think he should make a general message and not quote someone without checking that post first. *wacko* True, LEGO wil never be less then number 1. The fact that people start copying it only shows how populair it is. Also the models have slight changed aswell wich my be a nice addition (swords and new torso's for example). But what I don't understand is why these people get the bad things towards them and people like little armory that make new parts and addapt parts for LEGO (unofficial things) and people like you and me that like to make modifications (stickers, new minifigs, modded parts etc.) will not get chased by a mob. The idea is the same, you change something that isn't yours officially. Where do you need to draw the line? changing a set that you bought and keep that modded set is actually the same thing! So where do we draw the line? Or are we dragging every bit of change (as in modded sets, parts or any other thing that I talked about) to court? Ain't we a bit dumb for doing so? Many of you say already that the swords in this case are great, so there are things that can be improved of the official LEGOs... :-/

trust me, don't want me around when im that tired ;)

hehe, tnx. most trains aint even uploaded or have their latest versions. I keep most for the CD i'm working on (yes, for sale. but not ready yet)
-
think they are alright, the idea is great. there isnt really a set i like to have and it lasted to short to really judge it.

have no problem with anyone having his/her opinion on anything, but why did you quote me for that? I did not type anything "trashing" about it! X-D Think you should check and read something before you actually post, might be a good thing
