  1. I'll skim over it...maybe during the weekend. Thanks! You may want to get out of the prison before doing that. You don't want the guard to lock you up for having "sympathies with the prisoners." Especially since the Town Watch are less than trustworthy.
  2. OOC: Let Flare decide. He is the party leader so he should either control him or he should tell one of us to.
  3. I've just been thinking about the new updated pictures and some files that I will be working on. I could edit them in my old posts adding the new pictures and deleting the old ones, but I was thinking about making the posts correspond with the factions. E.G: one post for Royal Knight, one post for Dragon Masters, etc. Don't know if this is good though. It would definitely be easier for you and probably for me too, to just edit the posts, but the other way would seem a bit more orderly. What do you think?
  4. OOC: I really think we should let the others take care of the Archer and the Northern Warlord, and let's just go for the Raiders. Maybe not. In any case, IC: I attack raider Viking Raider A from the back row, yet again. "Monk Pretzel beams with delight as he sets about his work. He feels that some of his former strength from the hours spent...tilling the land has come back to him. "I warned you," he whispered at the Vikings, who could not hear him. He wanted to be sure that his voice did not alert any others to his party's presence, as if it could be a whole lot louder than the clashing of swords and other weapons around him. OOC: I don't think it's necessary to attempt to heal Benji right now, he's still quite strong, but if you all think otherwise... Wow! Monk Pretzel has been quite useful this battle around. That's quite a change.
  5. Actually, this happens to me an awful lot as well. Although I really rarely finish and significant builds overnight, so my dreams are riddled with building. Still, I'm a deep sleeper and, though I may stay up for a while thinking about it first, once I'm asleep, I will usually stay asleep, even if it means building what I am over and over and over again in that sleep. I consider myself fairly lucky.
  6. My sympathies would definitely ride with wolf-gang more than the town watch, but I guess I always liked supporting the guys everyone else condemned. Nevertheless, I'm not saying that town watch are good nor the wolf-gang evil, but that the quest members should use a helluva lot of wisdom before doing anything that could be felt by so many others. I am still suspecting that the town watch may be the problem cases behind quest #23, but I wouldn't do anything against them until that is confirmed. Right now it is based solely on presumption and a few smirks and odd looks thrown in. We shall see though... Somehow, this doesn't sound good. They had better watch what they say.
  7. Thanks! Will definitely look it over sometime. This is quite an interesting topic.
  8. I don't know. As I said, I'm fairly new to this and I don't know whether or not the wolf-gang have appeared in any other quests, etc. Maybe when I get back to the Hall I will look them up at the library. Who knows? But, honestly, I doubt they can be up to any good. They are a gang operating in one of the most problematic areas of the city, from what I can understand, and are, again from what I can understand, one of the main causes of the trouble. But, then again, this could all be based on hear-say.
  9. What do you think we are writing all of this for? We are trying to influence you. Come on. Admit it. You are going to completely change the direction the quest was going, aren't you? By the way, nice role-playing in quest #20.
  10. I thought it would be something of the like. I still think though, that a decision such as this one should not be taken lightly. If they attack the Town Watch it is not at all unlikely that suspicion will be cast on Heroica Hall or rather the members of it. So if they revert to that course of action, they have to be sure that the members of the Hall would be willing to back them up on it. I frankly, would not be too happy to wake up one morning to find the Town Watch demanding the arrest of everyone at the Hall for a matter of which I knew nothing. Needless to say, I should think, there has to be a better way of going about it that doesn't require killing anyone. Besides, why did they sign up for a quest to, supposedly, help the Town Watch if they were just going to turn on them? Something I was suspecting though is that if the town watch get a reward for every prisoner they catch, then maybe they have turned each other in to collect rewards and then will have a mass escape, or something of the like.
  11. Still, killing a guard who is just doing his duty and who has not assaulted you in any way can hardly be deemed as a good course of action. Of course, perhaps, just knocking him unconcious and hoping that his memory doesn't come back to him. I still don't think that it is a decision that they should take on their own, being that it could have serious repercussions for a lot of other people as well. Of course, for the sake of role-playing... Anyways, I don't think Heroica Hall is about to be raided or attacked by a party of the Town Watch. Although...you never know.
  12. OOC: Good thing you did otherwise you may have had a surprise 10 points deducted from your health. Flare, I think you need to post the battle order. I believe everyone has posted their attacks. If he doesn't, Capt.JohnPaul, then I assume we will go with the same order as last time. Am I right? Somebody?
  13. ...annoying! A lot of famous authors had their works turned down many times, before they finally found the right publisher and their works exploded. However, there is nothing like publishing a book from a late publisher. Fame almost always comes after the author has passed on.
  14. I have not been at Eubric as long as you, so I do not know the situation regarding the Town Watch nor what the Wolfgang have done apart from taking down some guards every once in a while. But as far as I understand, the Wolfgang are far from good and it is very doubtful that he is not in jail for some proper reason. Even if he was not caught for a crime that is worthy of a hanging, he no doubt has done crimes worthy of death that he has not been caught for. The fact is that we should encourage the guards, no matter how corrupt and vile they may be, for the few good catches that they do make. Obviously, it was a good thing that they caught the skelly as well, otherwise we'd have him hanging around Eubric, so although they may be less than good. There are a lot of things worse than them, I think. If you plan on throwing out the law, you'd better have something better to replace it with, or else the city will erupt into utter and complete anarchy. Not that it is not, basically, in anarchy now, but at least there is a slight semblance of law and order, no matter how slight it may be. I hope I made sense in this. Often times it's just all sorts of thoughts randomly strung together, but...
  15. "That's what you'd have us believe! A friendly little chat behind the house, eh? 'Conducive', I should say. Oops, just said it!"
  16. "You're awfully cocky for a lad of your age. How old are you, son? By the way, since you are too young to understand such, I was speaking in jest to Daxus. Don't get your hopes up too high. I will not speak to Benji on either yours nor Daxus' behalf. I am a monk and will in no wise tolerate your lustful desires. Such things are no-no's for kids such as yourselves."
  17. "You youth are always arguing together, " I complain. "Daxus, I am beginning to believe that you are jealous of Benji. He is the party leader though and you have to respect that he has first rights to whatever female company that comes across our path. Don't worry, I can speak to him on your behalf and he may give you one chance."
  18. I really don't know whether this would be such a good idea. However nice he seems, he still is a criminal and a member of one of the most dangerous gangs in Eubrick, so if they release him and are found out, they may be putting all of Heroica Hall in danger. Not that there is too much to worry about.
  19. Okay, whatever. I will still always think of Sandy as Ellaria. Allow me a small dig here. The "ever vigilant spam zapper" becomes the spammer. Ooops...I'm spamming!
  20. I keep up my assault on Viking Raider A. I honestly do not have a clue as to what made me do the seemingly selfless deed that I did. OOC: And finally Monk Pretzel does something useful. Trumpet's sound. We should have a celebration. Maybe the enemies are startled by his fiery speech. Back IC: "Ooo, I guess all of Benji's polishing did avail a good deal of good, eh? It was my fiery speech that also got Alisha in the fighting spirit." Back OOC: Goodness, Alisha's frenzies are really propelling us forwards. Thank goodness!
  21. Phew, I was almost worried there. Or maybe I still am a little, that I had made an embarrasing mistake, after spending so much time at Sandy's Heroica.
  22. I do not think I've ever written a novel in first person, so I don't really know much about it. I don't know if this is a format you're intending to keep, but I would probably advise you to make the paragraphs a bit shorter as it can seem like a real mountain of text to look at it is. If you separate each person's words as a new paragraph, this should help a good deal. Also you may want to italicize the thoughts she is thinking in the story. For example: Don’t think about it, stay calm. It seems that these are his thoughts at the time of the story. So you should probably italicize them and put an "I thought." or whatever..."I fretted". Just my two cents. Quite literally just two.
  23. "Polishing his golden arrow no doubt. "As party leader he should fight for two and as a monk I shouldn't have to fight, so he should be taking my place." OOC: Maybe we should tally the amount of foes we each defeated in the last few rounds.
  24. Ah! Thanks for clarifying.
  25. "I would not count on you kicking Alisha's megablocks. Weren't you just admitting earlier today that she beat you in the arena? ...Wait a minute...you weren't talking to me were you?" OOC: I wonder if Capt.JohnPaul is delaying on purpose, trying to force us to roleplay like it seems some of the other quest masters are doing.
