Yeah, they really were terrible, these guys, weren't they? I was shocked to see the number of impulse sets they got a lot of them are more or less copies of each other. The only really worthwhile ones, in my opinion was the witch one and the crossbow cart. None of the bigger sets were that great either. Horribly disappointing.

Nice wording to that Tanma!

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
You can buy them off of me, if you want. If he has the tonics available I will sell my potions to you for cheaper than he does. I don't need the potions if I have tonics...well, maybe one. OOC: Just to remind our QM: Monk Pretzel healed Alisha, Benji, and himself with his ether since the battle ended. Therefore, bringing his ether down to 1/5. Just so that you know. -
Sorry about that. Nasty stuff. To your health! Football American or Football European? Just wondering, as it can be confusing sometimes nowadays.

I'm at a loss for words, Derfel. This is simply too good. Everything about this MOC is unbelievable. Seriously! I love the bridge in particular, but maybe that's just because it stands out a bit because when I look at the rest of the MOC I am, once again, rendered quite speechless. This has to be one of the best builds even amongst your collection. Your best for Avalonia, eh?

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr

"Hey, fellow cleric," said the Monk growing suddenly very amiable towards Cleric Wulf. "Do you happen to have any of those ultra-cheap tonics on you. I would like to purchase another." He turned back towards Daxus and whispered, "If we're going to take him down later we may as well try to make the most out of it." -
Stunning! Simply stunning, Captain! So much detail and life in this MOC. It surpising how much minifigs well placed can add to the scene and make it come to life. Although this build would still look great without them. So much attention to detail in this embassey, it's stunning. But I repeat myself.

I love the stories you guys make behind each MOC. It's almost like role-playing.
-
This is probably the most embassey-looking build I've seen as of yet. Superb design and the little market outside makes it look all the more authentic. Nice idea MikeyB!
-
This is very, very good, ZCerberus. Very lovely house. I like the general feel of this whole structure a lot. It seems very well balanced. You're definitely one of my favourite MOCers.
-
That's a nice little build if I ever saw one. Very nice designs. Certainly not a boring squared well. Great job!
-
How did you do the building? Very good style indeed. Somehow, though, it has the appearance of being a bit run down.
-
A lot of these seem to look more like fortresses than embassies, but it's of no concern to me. I love the designs of these more fortress-looking ones. This one is really classic, I would say.
-
I like how your MOC has a story behind it and its written in a letter and everything. Nice idea. I wish I could participate in this challenge, but I don't have the pieces too, nor anyway of getting them. I'll stick to LDraw for now. This guild deal sure does seem like a lot of fun though.
-
Very artistic design. Looks very beautiful indeed. I wish their would be slightly more of a structure, but it does look very much what I think an embassey should have in Historia. A wall around for protection, a hall where visitors can meet with the ambassador, etc. Good work.

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr

"Whom? Cleric Wulf?" Monk Pretzel whispers a bit too loudly. "I was led to trust him at first because he was a cleric, but I am uncertain now as to which god he serves, suddenly appearing next to us like that. Do you think he may be the undead Vikinig in disguise! Shocking! I mean just look at the odd way he designs his hair. Maybe his brother is the undead Draugr and he is the not yet undead one. OOC: It's darn fun jumping to conclusions. -
This one is quite blocky, but it shows quite nicely that even a blocky building can look good. I like the colour combinations, although I think the tower could have a bit more dark grey scattered throughout. For some reason I really like the roof of the tower. I can't understand why, but it just really strikes me. I love the porch at the back. Very nice main building in general.
-
Nice. It looks a lot like Nocturnus in my opinion. Perfect! Very nice design though and I like the rocky walls. It looks small and compact on the outside, but surprisingly quite spacious inside.
-
This is such a nice, cozy setting. The fortress looks a lot like some kind of Viking fort or something or how I would invision a Lego one. Very nice and somehow homey in general, though hardly what I would consider an embassey, but I love it all the same.
-
I love how green this is! Fantastic! Very neat ideas on this MOC in general. Good work. The buildings of these guilds just keeps getting better.

It took me a little while to figure it out as well, but I figured that it had to have been something pretty simple in order for him to post it so matter-of-factly.

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"A grave with a missing body, eh? Do we have any reason to doubt the integrity of your missing brother's body? Oh sorry, make that your body's missing brother? Oh, wrong again. Your missing body's brother? Ahck! Your brother's missing body? Or more precisely, was your brother of questionable integrity which would cause his body to go missing after it was buried?" Monk Pretzel interrogated him, somewhat unfeelingly. "Where the devil did you come from anyway. Were you here with us all along? If so, why didn't you aid us in our fights?" -
Sweet build. I think the windows and doors look slightly bright compared to the rest and for it being a pirate hideout, but otherwise it's quite a nice scene. The fish coming out of the water really is superb. I like the "pier" a lot too.

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Palathadric replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, that's good to know. At least we know that it will have to be finished by then. Unless you start making tons of new chapters after that. In any case, I look forward to it. -
No, no, no! I don't accept it. It's not nostalgia. The old ones are far better in every way. Boy, I'm beginning to sound nostalgic. Seriously, though. The old ones, all the way. TLG has to bring them back. Although it would be nice if they had a way to make them taller...
