"That is good to hear. The power of truth shines the brightest when the world is at its darkest as they say. Speaking of 'demon-possessed family members' is this condition common in Eubric these days. Most of my quests have taken me out of Eubric, so except for life in the hall, I am not too familiar with the ways of the common-folk of Eubric. The pollution is too great. How is the order fairing as far as new converts are concerned?"

My eyes! I thought Healing Staffs miss on rolls of 4 instead of "healing less."

I agree, Sandy. It seems the simplest solution to me. Care for a fight in the arena? I've got the game rules on my side.

"How holds the order in this dark time? The corruption of Eubric is so thick, that I wonder if the order manages to stay pure or if it's slowly sinking into the Abyss that is the rest of Eubric. It seems even "hero" will soon be a title any man can adopt if he so chooses." I sigh.

"You have been with the order for a long time?" "We now have animals roaming the hall and going out on quests?" I groan aloud. "What is the world coming to?"

Yeah, welcome back!

Shh! And are you talking about Sorrow or Boomingham? I didn't know that either of those weren't an advanced class.
-
I break bread at the table somewhat mad at the latest turn of events. This will be another situation like my last where I'll be left in the hall for an age to come. These days everyone wants "Advanced Class" heroes or whatever. What is so special about them? Just that they are favoured a little more by the "Copper Fox!" Bah humbug! I tuck into the bread without tasting a thing.
-
Brilliantly put! Makes mental note not to go on any Wolfgang-related quests.
-
Not his one that stuns people. That's dull. And I think Boomingham's is the only sword that makes people bleed, so I really don't know what the rest are all about.
-
"How fair the knights of Ennoc?" I ask the Paladin who just signed up for the latest quest.
-
"Master Criminal?" Scum Godfather! Whatever, dudess, you're still a robber and a criminal at that!

Honestly, though, looking at it from this perspective, no matter if Barbara is "scum" or "neutral." She is a thief and is therefore one of our targets. Right or wrong? I'm not sure. I do still feel a bit uneasy voting off Pierre, because as Phil said his responses have been very level-headed and in general more town-tells than scum-tells to me. There are the oddities though. Babs role just seems a bit too strange for my liking. It doesn't seem like it either helps or hinders either the town or scum and leaves her with no incentive to help either side. She needs to steal the ruby/diamond/whatever/sparkly thing from the scummy theives, but her doing so, from what I can see, doesn't hinder them any. Would Bob really come up with a role like this? I suppose it's possible, but still...

Is there anyone in the hall besides Dekra and Harkenshire who have been to Dastan? Need to refresh myself on who is all in the hall.

I don't think Jonathon claimed that he had Scott watched. He was saying that he is thinking that you thought he may have been watched. The problem I have with voting off the likes of Mary, Michael, and Alice, etc, is that it is really hit and miss. One cannot really differentiate between their "Townie style" and their "Scum style" of playing. They are, generally speaking, equally suspicious when they are playing either role. Thinking it over, I am still not convinced that Pierre is scum, but I think there's a lot that could be learned from his lynch, especially in regards to Barbara and a couple others. Furthermore, since his role has been compromised, even if Pierre does turn out to have been telling the truth, his role is practically useless now, because the scum scumsters are on to him, so he may as well not have a power role. Hence, I no longer have too much of a problem switching my vote: Unvote: Alice (Rumble Strike) Vote: Pierre (CallMePie)

I'm not sure if I should ask Flare how long he is planning on his quest being. I wonder why Christopher is grinning like an idiot as they plunge downwards? Maybe he's enjoying the ride?

I have to say though that you painted him in a pretty bad light in your "play" whereas in the PMs he didn't come off nearly the same way, which makes me wonder, if you are town, why you didn't try to give a clearer representation of what happened. Heck, you could have even quoted the PMs without adding the name. However, there certainly are oddities in the case, such as Pierre's choice of targets, his keeping quiet after Jon's "play," etc. What the hell is this? Sounds a bit like you're trying to "appear townie," as they say. Odd thing to do if you are town. Still, Pierre, you do seem more reasonable than your accusers for now. Since the votes won't make a difference whether I change them or not, I'll keep mine where it is. I would like to know what some of our quieter members who voted for Mary find suspicious about her? And even those who voted for Alice. Some people seem to just be jumping on the bandwagon because other people did it before them. I know I'm not one to talk, as I voted late yesterday and not exactly early today, but still...

Oops, I may have mistaken Holly for you. My other points still stand or at least did at the time.

I know this does sound odd. Pierre and Babs' targetting of Murdoch and his death on the same day seems too odd to be coincidental. Is it really plausible that he was targeted by no less than three people on the same night and Night One at that? Babs, it seems odd that you would target Murdoch when there did seem a whole list of scummier-looking people whom you could have stolen your diamond from. I'm kinda thinking either you or Pierre are lying here and I'm suspecting you more than him.

That's what he thinks! Seeing a new quest up about fighting a dragon I ponder whether or not to sign up for it. Experienced? That I am. Fighting dragons? Not so much. What are these Rito beings anyway. I suppose it couldn't hurt to find out. I've had to deal with less pleasant things than curing dragons in my time. I glance over at the undead in the hall. I sign up for Quest #59.

I notice two new freaks enter the hall and roll my eyes. "This hall really has become a terrible place for all kinds of scum!"
-
Call me daft, but what's your point? I was trying to say that maybe he as scum, was trying to claim a "less bad" role (SK) in order to make us not vote for him. As far as keeping SKs alive, it's risky business if they turn over to the scum, but if they can be used by the townies then they can make up an extra person to fight the scum, especially since, from what we've seen of last night's results, it seems our vigilante may have already died or may have been blocked.

If the theory that Alice is scum is true, then it makes perfect sense that she would vote for Mary over Jordan, because at the time the heat was on Jordan and I think Alice, if she is scum, would’ve known that Jordan was the one who would be lynched at the end of the day, so she made a vote for Mary instead of someone who would be confirmed as a townie (Jordan). Just saying, it’s possible. As far as Mary is concerned, it is not at all implausible that she is scum with her mistake with the numbers and then the way the votes seemed to conveniently switch to Jordan and she disappeared at that time as well. I’m honestly somewhat torn between the two of the above at this time. I do have to admit that Jonathon and Lauren’s insistence in the possibility of the passenger numbers correlating with whether the passenger/crew member is town or scum seems a bit like scummy behaviour to me. Perhaps not unlike the behaviour that led up to the abandoning of the spaceship that was Excalibur 1.0 when despite the admiral’s insistence that the pictures should not be relied for clues, the scummy scumster insisted they were. I wonder why Diane seems to see the need to defend Jonathon. Trying to play a townie or something there? Your behaviour, I have to say, has been pretty weird throughout this whole trip. I had reduced it to over-playing up until now, but I’m happy to point an FoS in your direction. As far as the new information is concerned, I am uncertain how to act. At the end of the day, neutrals help the town by being more non-scum players at the end of the day, if they're not converted to the scum cause. However, Barbara's claiming neutral could easily be a front to cover for her killing people. Still, to a certain measure, Barbara has not struck me as being particularly scummy. It is interesting though, if it's true, what you said about the person who claimed tracker and that they panicked when you just mentioned that they may have a night action. That does seem suspicious to me. However, since we don't really have any person to point at directly, I will go for either Mary or Alice I think. The problem is, who to decide. Vote: Alice (Rumble Strike)
