Heroica RPG Quest #112: The Lion, the Wretch, and the Warlord
Palathadric replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
I repeat. "Thank you, Master Luke. It has been a rather strange experience not having a healer in our party up until now. I have just given up the ability myself. Perhaps our resident mage should give you one of her rubies for this fight." -
Never ask the QM. Wrong. A hastened enemy will always get at least one free hit unless he isn't targeted, in which case he/she will get two.

I lash out at the Warlock from the Back Row with my New Whip. "Let's see these furballs go up in flames!" -

May I comment on how great Pretzel, Dyric, and Namyrra look? "I destroyed that darn statue. Stop pretending like it's still there," I growl only half jokingly. -

"What's with all the noise?" I demand, somewhat irritably. "Let's finish this. I've already had enough of these hairies and if there are any more bull-masked devils around I'd be more than happy to finish them off." If the NPC party will be joining ours, could we have a look at their stats? I equip the Counterstrike Gloves instead of the Rock Gauntlets. -

"Last 'machine' I encountered was some bloomin' contraption straight from the depths of the earth that literally pumped a form of demons bent on world conquest out of it. Good thing we got there in time to defeat the demons and destroy the machine before it escaped its trap." -

I crack open the statue with my Pickaxe to see if there's anything of interest hidden inside and then smash it to pieces with the Rock Gauntlets. "Good work!" I say, wiping the sweat from my forehead. "It is slightly disturbing that they seemed to know we were coming," I mention. -
Pure gold.

"I don't mind anything. The sword obviously has no use to me apart for reselling. I'll take the whip if the 'assassin of light' doesn't want it. I think it's only suitable to him and me." -
And as soon as one player isn't very active it can become somewhat dull very quickly. I suppose that's why they're not very common.

Somehow it sounds so classy when Docken does it.

So Eric and Throlar are reunited.

I repeat. How come all my enchantments happen when I'm using the Flying Cross? I'm not complaining. -

I take a swipe at Pongcanis Spearman Yellow from the Back Row with the Flying Cross, unless told to do otherwise. "Ha, ha! Take a piece of that, hairy brutes! Die, now!" Artisan is freakin' awesome! -
I have really liked 102 so far. It's been a really great quest to follow. And seven months later?
-
We've had enough teenage male rouges around to debate that. ...and did I just forget to put "human" in there. Man, I'm growing rusty. I think we need a new influx.

"I was about to ask who you killed," I say through clenched teeth as I concentrate on aiming my Dual Staff at the Green-Gloved Pongcanis Berserker from the Back Row, looking for the kill. -

"Pretzel, Monk Pretzel," I reply grimly as one of the Poncanae drives his dagger at me, "a Paladin at heart, because the paladins of the flesh have turned away from their calling. Wreched creatures! Why were you thrown out of Duplovia?" -
You are hosting a quest...

"Bah! The Weapon's Dealer and I were on the last quest together. Bad business with a bunch of lousy paladins who somehow thought using undead to guard people's possessions was a good idea. What is the world coming to these days! Who are you anyway? Must have been around for long enough I'll wager." -

"Bloomin' paladins!" I snort grumpily. -
Yes, it's been really well done thus far. I also really would like to see something along the story lines of Quest #45. It was really a great quest before it stopped.

I move as far as I'm allowed to, depending on Atramor's movements, and attack Poncanis Berserker Red from the Back Row with the Dual Staff. "Hairy brutes, and so many of them! I could swear that I saw the horned fellow leading a group of Paladins not long ago. Disgusting!" -
I have to say that so far there has been a lot that's wrong with the Hobbit films, but I still love them in spite of their flaws.
