  1. I put up a notice in the Hall saying: Selling Heavy Flail (WP: 5; deals Fragile; mace), contact the man of the cloth.
  2. I glance at Lind suspiciously, but remain silently. What does he want? Probably gold.
  3. I grunt. "Cards! What the devil! Well, I have the gold to splash and some of the prizes are nice...I suppose." I fork over 75 gold for a Gambler's Hand.
  4. "Not a problem at all. Glad to be of assistance." Returning to the hall with Erik's orders met, I hand him back his weapons. "Going the route of the Battle mage, are you? Be careful that the magic of it doesn't corrupt your heart. You're still young and if you delve too deep into the arcane arts, it can do funny things to you, you know. ... Just be careful."
  5. Arriving at the marketplace yet again, I ahead straight for Anwyl's. "Surprised to see you hear," I say, "I had the impression you were dying." "What? Who told you that?" "Don't know. Was tipped off by someone." Grunt. "I suggest you should watch your back." Grunt. "Here, in case you die tomorrow, I'd like these gems removed from this equipment." I proceed to hand him the Twin Axe, 3 Torches, Voltedge, and the Sharkskin Armour. Anwyl removes the six gems and then imbues a Ruby in the Heavy Armour and the Titanic Axe, before upgrading the Titanic Axe to WP: 12. 50 * 8 = 400 + 120 = 520 - .75% = 390. 442 - 390 = 52 gold profit. Wandering over to Fabian's, I see a lovely warm cloak which would make a lovely replacement for my old one in the future. Forking over 375 gold, I purchase the Marauder's Mantle and leave the market 375 - 52 = 323 gold lighter.
  6. I'm having a hard time determining which hand I want to buy.
  7. I remove the two gems from my recently acquired staff for 2 * 50 = 100 - 25% = 75 gold.
  8. If we're having seeded teams and all is there any chance that we could have home and away matches as well? I really think I could have an upper hand (get it? ) playing the Emerald Emperor in Heroica Hall.
  9. Bored from sitting in the hall and negotiating deals for so long, I take a look at the quest board and, seeing a quest, immediately signup for Quest 121.
  10. I sure hope not. That was in reference to this of course: I'm willing to help out too... just tell me what to do.
  11. Wouldn't it be easier to do it by PM though so that neither person knows the card the other person is going to play? Can we buy cards but then not actually play and just exchange them for prizes?
  12. Then we will know which card our opponent plays, if he plays it first, and be able to select a winning card if we have one in our hand?
  13. All vampires should pass through that door. Perhaps Sandy will just choose at random.
  14. I would guess so. The game will be played by PM, right?
  15. I love you, Sandy! ...Does anyone on a quest want me to purchase them anything at the Marketplace...just make sure that you leave me 5 gold to spend on cards.
  16. I'm not sure if buying and selling is allowed in that thread.
  17. I guess we can only get level 9-10 cards by beating an NPC? I also didn't understand the thing about bets. Does it mean that the person who wins more wins everything? I apologize if I'm thick.
  18. "Well, I've got an extra Amethyst in my cart even..." I mutter, handing Nerwen the gem. "I'm not sure I'd normally pay so much for that staff, but..." I shrug, "...times have changed. Besides, God blesses generosity...or whatever." Taking the staff, I hand Nerwen 300 gold...the latter, perhaps somewhat reluctantly.
  19. "Ah, yes! I remember now. You do like quite different now. Shamening does funny things to you, you know? I have since forsaken the way of the paladin for a while. The order, it seems, has become as corrupt as the rest of Eubric...well, perhaps not quite, but almost. It's a shame really! As an Artisan now though, it helps me manage my resources better. Furthermore, I am able to provide services for my fellow heroes. If, for instance, you have an purchases to make at the marketplace, I can give you a 15% discount on them all." I wink. Just then, I see Nerwen's staff clatter to the ground. "What a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. As a minstrel, I'll wager you won't be needing it anytime soon. How much do you want for it...assuming you're willing to sell?" I allow myself a chuckle at the awkward mannerisms of the little one.
  20. More baggage...it must be. I wonder why he doesn't have a sack of holding.
  21. After raising an eyebrow briefly in Kiray's direction, I turn back to Nerwen. "Thank you! He most certainly does. Though it seems His lights in this world are burning dim at present, he is still faithful. ...Have we met?"
  22. I love the banner. I'm ambivalent about the height. Could be a bit shorter, but I think the previous one was probably too short. But it's all good.
  23. I return from the marketplace with Gut's bombs. "Here you go," I say, handing the alchemist the bombs. "Decided to purchase a few while I was at it. I wonder just how effective they are." Ambling back over to my seat, I see Erik conversing with an Elven minstrel. At first, I have the presence of mind to leave them alone, but then decide against it. "What's going on here?" I query good-naturedly, still not recognizing Nerwen. "I don't recall seeing you in the hall recently. Our hall could be livened up with some music," I say through whilst chuckling.
  24. I come into the market again and marvel over how much time I've spent here recently. Approaching Mr. Almight, I purchase: 2x Blind Bomb 2x Confuse Bomb 2x Poison Bomb 2x Seal Bomb 2x Sleep Bomb 4x Stun Bomb for a total of 14*30=420*75%=315 gold. 365-315=50 gold profit. I then purchase 2x Blind Bomb 2x Seal Bomb 2x Sleep Bomb for myself for a total of 180*.75=135 gold. 135-50=85 gold spent.
  25. Returning to the hall, I hand the gem-imbued hand cannon back to Matthais, casting another woeful glance in Dreyrugr's direction.
