  1. Taking Matthais' gold and handcannon to the market, I imbue the two gems he gave me into it for 50+50=100*75%=75 gold. 85-75=10 gold profit.
  2. First we lost Elphaba and now Anwyl? What is Heroica coming to?
  3. "You spent a ton of gold on a dice? Well, I don't think luck is really anything more than what you think it is, but..." I shrug. "I don't really know. The ones I encountered seemed more reasonable than Sofia and her cronies, that's for sure. They kept excusing her actions though. I hate the Crimson Crown...really, I do, but perhaps they're confused amongst themselves about what's right and wrong." "Pretzel...Monk Pretzel. If you want me to upgrade your cannon for you then just let me know." I glance up to see a face I haven't seen in a while. "Oh, God!" I mutter inaudibly.
  4. I would tend to see Raider as a better option for that. Minus the counter.
  5. I nod to the gnome. "Are you from Zylstra? Can't say I've seen you before."
  6. "I'm sure you know that he got work with the Guild of Invision, right? Anyway, he became an assistant to this sniveling wretch of a creature who spoke funny also. Anyway, as it happened, the wretch of a creature used his influence over Wally to sneak him into a sort of underground kingdom, the old kingdom of the Moon Elves. In any case, the wretch created this machine down there that could literally spawn demons. Not just a few, but hundred. They took hostage the whole gnomish village hostage and somehow turned them into demons too. We had to knock out the Baron, Mr. Moke, and many of the others, even Melvin the dwarf from that ship...I forget its name, was down there too, in order to recover them to a right state of mind. We had to fight through scores of demons together with Posco, the former blue assassin, in order to reach the spawning machine and destroy it. Up until then, Wally was a great help even, although, perhaps, a reluctant one. As it turned out however, when we came to the final step of the journey, we had to destroy the last of the demons, but Wally's mentor refused to let us do so. Heck! Up until then I was seriously thinking of letting him go despite his crimes if nothing else than for Wally's sake. However, not only did he refuse to allow us to defeat the final demons, but he also refused to quit his experiments which were putting the whole gnomish village in danger. What was even more intriguing was that then the Crimson Crown showed up and actually wanted to destroy the demons as well. It was probably one of the most uncomfortable situations I've been in. ...In any case, we obviously had to destroy the demons, as much as I hate the Crimson Crown. They were too much of a threat to the village and even to all of Eubric. I'm afraid for Wally though. He didn't take it well..." Seeing Mizuki, I hail her over. "How have you been of recent?" I query. Distracted by Alexander returning to the hall with a whole load of equipment, I call over to the x-Black Knight whom I have spoken to a few times already. "You know, I can get you a fifteen percent discount on all of that stuff." I turn back to Erik and Mizuki, "The same applies to you two of course. It's one of the perks of being an Artisan. The merchants can't fool me anymore with their inflated prices." I say smugly, but lightly as well.
  7. I should think so.
  8. I was sure I did this already. I remove the Ruby from my Impervious Shield for 50-75%=38 gold and then sell the Shield back to Anwyl for 25 gold. 38-25=13 gold less.
  9. "I know what you mean. Recent quests I've been on have shown me that sometimes playing a passive role in battles is just not worth the trouble. I've kept my party alive in more battles than I can think of, but of what use is it if the party compromises at the end of the day. No. There comes a time when one needs to be able to hold one's own and not just protect others. I've trained as an Artisan. It's been good thus far. Attacked a pirate's base and drove him out of our beloved isle. My quests before that were not as pleasant. You remember Wally, do you not?"
  10. A mage's base health at Level 1 is 5. Adding 5 levels to that comes to 10. I have to say that I've really been enjoying Quest 116. Highly entertaining and superb party overall.
  11. Overhearing the conversation, I butt in. "I can't speak for the others, but when I was in Dastan, I met the Rito...two in particular: Flavius and I suppose the Denerii of whom you speak. We didn't stay long, but they did invite me to train with them if ever I wanted to. Can't bring myself to do it though. I don't think I'm cut out for the bow and arrow or even the javelin for that matter. Besides that was a couple years ago now. Still, they are an amazing people."
  12. I chuckle as Erik offers his "help" to the mage. "What have you been up to lately, lad?" I query loudly.
  13. I glance up from my writing. What was that thing with the spiky head and huge black eyes speaking gibberish. I stare at Bobby blankly for a few moments before shaking my head and continuing my work.
  14. Yep! Happy birthday!
  15. I would say Matthias was the perfect fit. A hero like Guts has already become relatively callused and the quest would probably not draw a tremendous amount out of him. I can't see Guts having a problem killing anyone on the quest or it meaning a whole lot to him. However, Matthias is still trying to be a "good hero" so it made all that happened have real meaning to him and it probably affected him the way Zepher would have wanted it to. You may have preferred a more quick and morally easy quest, but I think Zeph really drew out the best from Matthias here. However, of course, too much of that would probably leave you feeling frustrated, that's why "heavy" quests have to be balanced with the "light" ones.
  16. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they took what they wanted.
  17. I had a basic plan for Pretzel at first, but then that's changed already a few times... now I have nothing. He's changed quite a bit since the beginning. Believe it or not, he's far more easy going now actually being able to go on quests and talk in the hall freely with people like Atramor and Guts. On his first quest he was rebuking Leo for believing in Ennoc. If I had kept him the way he was I'm pretty sure I would have dropped him by now for being too tiresome to play.
  18. This is an Endgame battle, it doesn't need to make sense.
  19. Are you sure Cutcobra hasn't hacked into your account?
  20. Your appearance is well overdue. Great to see the Phlegmen's return.
  21. Prepare for Battle!!! Battle of the Horrid Stench.
  22. I am the only one wondering how in the world they're going to fit all that needs to happen still in just one movie? Considering how long they've extended battle scenes that didn't even exist, what will it be like to have so many major happenings in the final film. Smaug will have to die, there's got to be some big fight thing at DG and of course, the BoFA. Unless they're going to mix them all up into one, which I'm worriedly beginning to think is very likely...I don't how they'll fit it into one film. Anyone, I still enjoy the Hobbit in spite of itself. Am I the only one who enjoyed, for the most AUJ over DoS? Everyone I've met seems to prefer DoS. Granted, Smaug was awesome, but Beorn was rather disappointing.
  23. Yayz! I've been waiting to see this guy again!
  24. I assure you Team DAMN were no sheep.
  25. So much of that "action" they could have just cut out to add more of the good stuff, but...
